Thanks Western Edge for all the work performed on my Truck. Also, thanks to all the ladies in the front office and everyone else who works there. They all have done a great job in help getting my truck back on the road. Sincerely, Marty McFly

Hands down, the best customer service. My sister, brother law, and pup were traveling for a camping trip when they started having troubles with their RV. They were referred to once place after another and got directed to this shop. They allowed them to park in their secured lot since they were about to close. The next day (New Year's Eve) the mechanics worked hard to locate the problem but still were unsure. Instead of guessing or overcharging, they provided some thoughts and gave them extra fluids to get them home all for a more than fair price. The lady even asked for a text to make sure they get home safe. Talk about quality, service, and just great human beings. Thank you for everything and being so kind.

The most unhelpful, unprofessional shop I have ever stumbled into. Wasted a lot of my time after making an appointment.

Very impressed with both the work and the integrity of this shop. I brought them a Subaru with an…read moreintermittent transmission fault that had triggered several warning lights. They spent 2 1/2 days trying to duplicate and isolate the problem, thoroughly checked the external wiring harness, and tested the suspected speed sensor. Everything checked out and the transmission continued to operate normally. Rather than guess or start replacing parts at my expense, they installed a used but known-good speed sensor they had available and told me to drive it and come back if the problem returns. At that point they can continue troubleshooting with at least two possible causes eliminated. Sometimes the best repair shop is the one willing to say, "We can't reproduce the problem, the transmission is functioning normally, and we don't want to charge you for work we can't justify." Five stars earned.

I am writing this review to warn future customers about my unacceptable experience with Affordable…read moreTransmission and Auto Repair Center regarding an ATRA nationwide warranty repair. Background and Initial Service: My vehicle's transmission was rebuilt a few months ago by a different authorized ATRA shop. Due to a recent move, the original shop authorized me to bring the car to this affiliate location, a 30-mile drive from my new home, for a warranty diagnosis. Upon drop-off on 11/18/2025, the front desk employee immediately became cold and dismissive when I mentioned the words "warranty repair." The Issue & The Refusal to Diagnose: The problem is specific and reproducible: when the car is cold, driving downhill causes the transmission to shift into what feels like neutral. Pressing the gas results in rising RPMs but no movement, forcing me to shut the engine off and restart it to re-engage the drive. After two days, I received a call informing me they could not reproduce the issue and were refusing to work on the car. I explained to Miguel that the condition requires a cold start and a specific downhill coast, asking them to try again or keep the car longer. He flatly refused any further testing, stating they were done with the vehicle. Integrity Violation and Fraudulent Documentation: Since they refused to honor the warranty, I requested a written reason for the denial of service, which is standard procedure. Miguel went to review my paperwork. When he returned, he presented a form and demanded I sign it before he would provide any written explanation. This form was an explicit waiver where I would acknowledge that the issue I claimed was not present and that their testing proved my claim was false. I refused to sign a document that was contrary to reality, as the transmission issue is demonstrably still present. The Threat and Escalation: Because I refused to sign the false waiver, Miguel refused to give me any written denial and escalated the situation. He told me he wouldn't help me anymore because I was "not a nice person." When I stated I would write an accurate review of this unprofessional experience, he raised his voice and began threatening me: Threats of litigation. Explicit threats of physical harm to myself and/or my property at my home. Threats to contact my employer to have me fired. I immediately took my keys and walked to my car, with Miguel following me out of the office, continuing to curse and issue threats. This behavior is far beyond poor customer service; it is menacing, unprofessional, and a direct failure to honor the ATRA warranty program. The shop refused to perform due diligence, attempted to force me to sign a false legal document, and threatened my physical safety. Avoid this business at all costs.
