It's located in a…read morehistoric building in the heart of downtown, so we were excited to stay there, but unfortunately, one thing after another made our stay not the greatest. For starters, when we checked in, we were given a completely different room from what we had chosen. Then we were advised the parking garage (that you pay $12 a day for) would be unavailable the following day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. due to a car show, and we would have to park blocks away from the hotel. After our first night's stay, housekeeping never came in to clean our room or provide new towels. The room is only stocked with two smaller bath towels and no extras. The hotel offers laundry facilities where you can wash your clothes, and when we went to wash, there was only one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel that required quarters. When we asked for change to buy quarters for the laundry, the front desk didn't even have change for a $20 and advised they couldn't just add it to the room. The room they put us in was right across from the elevator, so every time someone got on or off, we could hear the elevator ding and their entire conversation! The noise from Washington Blvd. is insane. It's so loud and noisy! I think the only positives were the front desk staff was friendly, and the hotel is within walking distance to historic 25th Street, where there are several restaurants and bars as well as shopping. Unfortunately, the whole experience just felt very inconvenient and disappointing, which was a total bummer.

Bring ear plugs, pack light. Comfy beds, within walking distance to bars and restaurants.

My room, 420, was comfortable but I wish there were better lighting options. I was there for a knitting retreat and it was often too dim in the bedrooms to see my work. There were a couple of disappointments beyond the control of the daily staff. The restaurant has a new breakfast menu but very few options for people with food allergies. Please bring back oatmeal! And I didn't like the new toiletry line - yuck! Who wants to smell like Pinesol? Hopefully by the time I come back they'll have brought back the Zero line! All in all though, this is a very pleasant hotel.

Only complaint was fan was a bit loud ans sounded like a shopping cart driving down the road at times. There were plenty of other guests but couldn't hear any of them. It's absolutely gorgeous with ponds and water features and sculptures and foliage. Theres a big fire pit good for groups or large families as well. Theres sunset was phenomenal to view from there and the mountains were stunning during golden hour ! Breakfast was simple, but filling. Nothing fancy but plenty of the staples and necessities. Jeremiah's restaurant was in the same parking lot as the hotel and was also pretty great for what it was. Plenty of delicious and local dishes, all family friendly. This place was a pleasant surprise for a best western off the freeway in Ogden. Well done! I will be remembering and recommending this spot in the future !

Nothing fancy but has most amenities any business traveler would need including ample free parking and walking proximity to the many restaurants on 24th street. If you're a business traveler and need to iron a shirt...good luck! If your room faces the street, you will likely not be able to sleep through the night. The hotel knows that it's so bad, they leave a package of earplugs in your room with a note telling you how loud it's gonna be. The gym is nice and spacious, there's a laundry room and an indoor pool and hot tub. I also like that there is a lot of space that you can use for working or studying. There's usually only one lady running the whole breakfast place and she's busy running around trying to get stuff filled and rotated. Honestly if you get there after 9 probably not much left.

Free, sure, but not good. Eggs were just.. nasty. Scrambled in chafing dish, but Burnt, from some kind of mix. Waffle machine was working, but the cool pancake machine was perpetually empty. They just wanted to reset it instead of refill it? Not cool, lines and confusion. Plenty of parking. So, good rooms, bad breakfast? You decide.

So, no natural light, no view. It was depressing. We were here for only one night, so we would have asked to switch; but why wouldn't the gal at the front desk give us a heads up? Also, a wet towel on the floor in the main room by our bed? Eww! Also, coffee set up was sparse (one creamer). We travel a ton, Marriotts are not our first choice for we often come across odd things about the rooms or stay. We were desperate this time to find a hotel, so we ended up here. We won't stay here again.

The "kitchen" area was dirty and when told to get water from the sink (For my mother) there was dried puke in it! The hotel staff were rude and threatened to kick people out just for asking to have things taken care of. The parking (or lack of) was horrible! Most everyone had to park and walk, in the heat, to the hotel several blocks in order to not be towed from the parking they did have! The room has a good size built-in luggage rack that will fit 2 small suit cases or one large. The desk area with lamp was a good size with a comfortable chair. The chaise lounge is comfortable and will fit 3 people side by side. That side table was very useful. The King bed was too soft for my preference. Felt like I was in a divit. Large fluffy pullows in a variety of soft and firm. Sheets are soft and comfortable. Aircon controls are inside the unit. It was a bit loud but not outrageous. Everything was clean and tidy. Lotion and hand soap are mounted on the wall. No small soaps. Three bath towels, two face and hand towels are soft and absorbant. The faucet is installed so far away from the sink, water barely falls into the bowl and everytime it is used makes a wet mess on the vanity. Toilet is clean, worked well and had two rolls of tp. Tissues on the vanity. Towel rack over the toilet. The breakfast area, behind doors when out of service, is well organized with entrances/exits on each end. Oatmeal with some add ins, cold cereal, fresh fruits, juices, fridge with milk, yogurt and cream cheese take up the back wall. The front wall is a pancake maker with fixins, bagels, bread and muffins near the toasters and jellies. Coffee, available throughout the day, is made by a machine on demand and takes a minute to pour. This is a strong brew. Decaf and hot water are available from the machine as well. Tea and cocoa are on a seperate counter next to the two coffee machines where you will find creamer during non-breakfast hours and half and half is added during breakfast service. A line quickly formed at the coffee station during breakfast. A variety of seating is available in the breakfast area with one TV showing news throughout the day. A local newspaper is available here as well. Staff were pleasant. A small store offers snacks, energy drinks and the like.
