    Beautiful mountain view from room

Complete Reno needed and more attention to cleanliness. Dirt and hair in the tub and actually had hairs hanging off the clean towels on the wall. Holes in the walls in the hallway. No housekeeping service. Asked for mountain view on higher floor, got a room on the 4th floor with a view of the back parking lot. Staff is nice, but the hotel is not up to Marriott standards.

We were coming on our drive from Colorado and needed a place to stay so we booked a room at the courtyard for tonight. The hotel is very 50-50 on what I feel like you're gonna get or expect, the AC did not work in our room, which was a major disappointment I turned it down to 60° and it was blowing hot air. The pillows are extremely flat and had no cushion or support at all, everything else in the hotel was great. The pool and hot tub area was cleaned. The lobby was very inviting and clean as well. There are definitely better options to pick from but as a last-minute hotel reservation, it would get the job done.

This Courtyard is OLD! No closet to hang my work clothes. Even cheapest motels I stayed in have a closet or at least a rack with hangers! This place is just "ok" for a Courtyard, but not nice at all. They redecorated lobby but not the rooms. Why?!?! Gives false hope. I usually stay in SLC, & if I want anything decent, it appears l will have to continue to do that & just deal with morning traffic.

    Unique skylite in the lobby.

Great location just a couple miles off the highway and walking distance to lots of restaurants and entertainment. This looks like it used to be an old Marriott that was converted into a Courtyard Marriott. The rooms are similar to most Courtyard rooms. However, the bathrooms and dresser/ armoire are very different. These are a bit nicer than most Courtyard Marriotts with eight floors instead of the standard three floors. Double elevators. Large lobby with a nice fireplace across from the check in desk. We had a small issue with not being able to sign into their WiFi but they helped us immediately after we called the front desk from our room. There is a pool, but the hot tub is out of order as of January 2021. We were disappointed about not having the luxury of sitting in the hot tub after each day of skiing. Hopefully they get the hot tub fixed soon. Great view out our odd number room on the sixth floor window!

Best place to stay in Ogden, especially if you don't have a car because it's so close to 25th street and the junction. If you do have a car, plenty of accessible parking. Lots of places in the lobby to meet up with friends, great atmosphere. Best kept secret - they have rooms with direct access to the pool. We stayed in one a few years back and the kids thought it was the coolest thing to go from the room to the pool and back and forth. Lower rating for staying there during the colder months, they only have the heat running. The rooms get really warm even if you have the window open because the windows don't open but a smidge. This is very uncomfortable and makes it hard to get a good nights sleep.

It's around the corner literally a 2 minute walk if that from Ogden brewery. That's a plus. The lobby is massively open and there's not a single picture of it so I'm adding that....it is the best part (after the excellent customer service) about this hotel! As you just read, you are aware that staff is friendly and welcoming. The lady that checked us in was so accommodating that she makes the staff and service the absolutely best part of this hotel. Then the lobby/reception area. That's really the extent of it. I don't need to pick it apart bec as you read the reviews everyone already has. I will say they are definitely in need of an update soon, but the rooms are not the worse I've seen. When we return for work again we will probably try another hotel to compare this too and go from there. Updated in the AM: unfortunately, I do have to knock this down to a 2 star...the tub filled up to my ankles and I took a super quick shower w/o even washing my hair. This made me notice the dirt all along the bottom of the shower liner and splashes of dirt all over it. Gross. I then got out and noticed the 2 inches of dirty tile - either powder or comet, not sure? And when I brushed my teeth it also backed up. Of coarse there's chips in the furniture and other stuff people have already pointed out. But wth is this headboard???? Foam wrapped in pillowcases????? These rooms are looking more like a 1 sadly.

Not a bad view from room

So I stared here for 8 nights during a two week training. There were some nice parts about this hotel and some that kind of left me disappointed. First the good. You're close to 25th Street and all it's bars and restaurants. Also the minor league ball park is close. The hotel is in decent shape for it's age. Rooms looked recently renovated. At least the bathroom did. The bad. So the hotel is so old that the air conditioner is either on or off. The thermostat does nothing. So this ac vent blowing all night isn't exactly quiet. The conference was in a room that smelled heavily of chlorine. Also the hotel provided lunch was average at best. The lounge served specialty cocktails from 8-12$. I never dinned or drank there.

How hard is it to replace a shower head? Before you charge me $200 a night, please do a little maintenance.

We will try to stay here again when passing through. It was the best! Leash off pet runs for both large and small dogs. Plenty of other unimproved areas as well as an expertly manicured awesome waterfall, pond and real grass garden behind the joint. The garden area is isolated from a busy train track by a large berm but you can definitely tell the trains go by. There's a couple of gas stations as well as a 7-11 just a block away to top off the tank and get a slurpee before you get back on the road. Breakfast was a typical free menu but I noticed they had a rotating feature each day. The hotel grounds and room were very clean and orderly with plenty of parking just outside of the first floor rooms. The pet friendly room had hardwood flooring so it was nice to walk around barefoot instead of putting on shower shoes just to go to the bathroom. The room was very clean and nicely adorned with necessities. An excellent pet friendly stay. Dicks

Super unfortunate when trying to take a shower because the tub kept filling up, I kept having to grab the drain every 30 seconds to lift it up manually - which kept making my hands slimy. Even getting the drain to stay up momentarily, the tub still backed up. After having a look under the drain I now understand why. The tub in general just looked unclean, with a greenish stain surrounding the drain area. It looks almost like there was an attempt to clean, but not a great one. Additionally, the water was warm (not hot) at the hottest setting for less than 5 minutes, then the water started to get cold again. The luke warm water would also fluctuate in pressure when it was warm - super strange. Was also not a huge fan of the body wash, "Argan Oil Complex", whatever the scent is smells straight up like play doh; "fun to play with, not to eat" (or wash your body with). The bed was not super comfortable, somehow stiff AND springy. I found myself tossing and turning trying to find the "sweet spot" and just couldn't quite get there. Not up to par for $100+ per night. The staff was friendly, and helpful when it came to the check-in process, but the experience of having to try to fix things, or deal with them rather, just to make staying here manageable was not awesome.

The "kitchen" area was dirty and when told to get water from the sink (For my mother) there was dried puke in it! The hotel staff were rude and threatened to kick people out just for asking to have things taken care of. The parking (or lack of) was horrible! Most everyone had to park and walk, in the heat, to the hotel several blocks in order to not be towed from the parking they did have! Plenty of parking with handicap permit and Diamond Member spots near the door. Covered portico for loading and unloading your vehicle. Hallways and rooms are carpeted. Room vestibule is a hard surface floor. The fridge, microwave, ice and coffee are in this area as well as two hooks and a small shelf. The room has a good size built-in luggage rack that will fit 2 small suit cases or one large. The desk area with lamp was a good size with a comfortable chair. The chaise lounge is comfortable and will fit 3 people side by side. That side table was very useful. The King bed was too soft for my preference. Felt like I was in a divit. Large fluffy pullows in a variety of soft and firm. Sheets are soft and comfortable. Aircon controls are inside the unit. It was a bit loud but not outrageous. Everything was clean and tidy. Two roll up/down shades: outer one for privacy lets the light through while the inner one completely blocks out the light. Bathroom looks updated with a large walk in shower enclosed by two rolling glass doors. Bath mat is on the door mounted towel rod/handle. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are mounted inside the shower. There is also a small shelf for your personal care items plus a large safety bar. Plenty of vanity space. Lotion and hand soap are mounted on the wall. No small soaps. Three bath towels, two face and hand towels are soft and absorbant. The faucet is installed so far away from the sink, water barely falls into the bowl and everytime it is used makes a wet mess on the vanity. Toilet is clean, worked well and had two rolls of tp. Tissues on the vanity. Towel rack over the toilet. The breakfast area, behind doors when out of service, is well organized with entrances/exits on each end. Six hot food options were available during our Monday morning visit. Veg/egg white omlette, egg and cheese omlette, sausage links, turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy. The front wall is a pancake maker with fixins, bagels, bread and muffins near the toasters and jellies. Coffee, available throughout the day, is made by a machine on demand and takes a minute to pour. This is a strong brew. Decaf and hot water are available from the machine as well. Tea and cocoa are on a seperate counter next to the two coffee machines where you will find creamer during non-breakfast hours and half and half is added during breakfast service. A line quickly formed at the coffee station during breakfast. A variety of seating is available in the breakfast area with one TV showing news throughout the day. A local newspaper is available here as well. Staff were pleasant. A small store offers snacks, energy drinks and the like.
