I thought it was just the shape of a wrangler that made the automatic carwash miss certain areas but after speaking to several friends, they experience the same problem. The brush is better than the brushless but there's still plenty of spots that look dirty still once dry. This happens whether the kids dry the vehicle or not. I keep my subscription only for the winter months to clear the salt off, if the carwash was better I'd keep it year round even though the owner seems to raise the price $5 every year. You should be locked into the orice you sign up with to show appreciation for customers who stick with you. The owner also takes no accountability and I'm sure will have a meaningless reply to this sign, wash, dry, repeat... I have the unlimited car wash plan. I am in a procession of sorts today, and asked nicely for them to dry my bumpers and my doors. The young man totally ignored me. I asked politely to please wipe it down again. I was given the talk to the hand, keep your tip, you're all set. I called to inquire and received the same disservice on the phone. I'm a washclub member for about $35 a month. If you go more than once a month, it makes sense to sign up as a single wash is about $20 now. I like to keep my car somewhat clean so I'm actually saving money so I don't mind. It's true that they want you to sign up for the monthly, even it means they might "lose" money in the long run as it becomes predictable revenue which is more valuable to them than anything. It's why they try to pitch/upsell you in the non-member side of the entry every time My issue with the Car Wash is the Car Wash itself as I ignore the workers mostly. I have a mid-sized SUV and it seems the left side rollers just miss the left side entirely. It seems the water jets on the right side are incredibly strong and isn't equal on the left side. The car wash itself is way too short and doesn't allow for proper drying which is why they have the person drying cars at the exit. Usually bugs don't come off completely from this wash and I'm only a member because it's the only game in town. Ginger's isn't nearly as "high-tech" enough. My car is not clean. Got the $20 wash, including the undercarriage, and it's just not clean. Still tons of bugs stuck on the front and back bumpers and dust/pollen on the side. I think a hard rain would have done a better job. Pictures taken after I got home and started washing the car myself, so that's why it's wet. read more

I have been a member of the unlimited car wash club for both of my cars for I believe over a year and have previously had them detail my car. Lately, my windshield and bumper have not been coming clean due to bugs. Last week, I asked the attendant to brush my them before going into the wash and he was friendly and did so. Today, I went and was advised they do not do that and if I'm unhappy to go back through a second time (seems like a waste of water and power a quick pre-brush could have avoided. I asked the nice female who assisted me in going back through to speak to a manager. She advised he would meet me on the outside. When I was exiting the wash for the 2nd time, I asked the attendant who dries my car to please ask the manager to come out. I explained to the manager Cyr I would like my windshield and front bumper brushed during heavy bug season and he advised they would not do that. (he noted they have added better soap as aware of bug problem, I let him know its not working). I asked again if they could just do it when they are not terribly busy and he said no they won't make exceptions for anyone. He also noted how busy they are which led me to believe he didn't need my business. I advised to please cancel my two cars and he said fine and would extend my free service until end of June (which was kind, however didn't fix the dirty windshield problem). I am truly disappointed in Cyr would have rather lost a loyal customer rather then working with me. He advise I should get more washes and indicated he has his done daily. Really seems like a waste rather than just having it done well the first time. read more

Terrible place to do business. My wife paid $65 plus a tip of $14 for a total of $79. She arrived late due to trouble finding the place. They refused to clean the car. They refused to re-schedule and they refused to refund her money, including the tip. This is the worst business transaction we have EVER had and we are in our 70s. From the owner all the way down the line of the staff are always friendly, helpful and nice. The prices are reasonable and they have many packages and options you can choose from. You can even be part of an unlimited wash club and pay a cheap monthly rate. The services run from the most basic wash right up to a full detail. They are open year round. High price and disappointing quality of work. $25 for interior detail ALONE, plus $17 for the only exterior wash that does undercarriage. If two people spend over 10 minutes cleaning my interior for $25, I would expect no smudges or missed dirt, but I had to rework my interior on my own. The "hand towel dry" lasted about 20 seconds and left my car with water marks. Employees were friendly and inside of the business was very clean and up to date. I've brought a couple cars here months apart and they never get clean going through the car wash. Always spots and dirt left on paint, hood, side view mirrors, bumpers. Even after the towel guys dry it off. Worse than a touch less car wash. I even did the $17 full wash which is a little pricier than other car washes. I am a monthy subscriber and drive my 2 vehichles through weekly and sometimes more. On my last trip got out looked over car and found multiple scratches in all but one of my alloy wheels. I absolutley know they didn't exist previously. when I went back I was told there wheel cleaning pads could not have done that. I completly expected that response as car washes never admit wrong doing. I was told people with wheels worth more than my vehicle go through and would be lined up if this was true. First, you should be aware that the prices posted are for an exterior wash only (this is the opposite of how most washes I have been to do it) and they will charge you an extra $20 to vacuum the interior. This puts you at $37 for the top tier wash ($17 for exterior, $20 for interior). I am used to paying ~$21-$25 for the top-tier, full-service car wash. The cleaning job was less-than-thorough. When I entered the wash, the attendant only bothered to spray the front left quarter panel with soapy water before putting down his hose and waiting for the car to start moving. When I got home and inspected the vehicle, my wheels, running boards, and liftgate were all still noticeably soiled. Finally, after emerging from the wash, one kid gave my car a 15 second walk around with a wet towel, missing 75% of the water before staring at me in anticipation of a tip. I brought my car in for the first time since Covid found new management and a new system. It's a terrible system. They don't vacuum the inside anymore unless you make an appointment. It's also very pricey to have the car vacuumed. When I got home I realized that the automated washing system completely missed the front of my car. The front of the car was filthy. Brought my wife's car there for a wash. $20 later there are still bugs attached to the front of the car and the back is still dirty. Most other car washes have attendants do a prewash with a brush or hose. Not here. It costs more than other places and does not clean your car as well. Since 2016, I have been a regular customer, including having been a member of their Car Wash Club for several years, having spent close to $1,000 there (actually, $978). Used to be run by a very nice lady named Kathy, but is now run by a bunch of soy boys. Visitited again this morning, and asked for thei basic car wash, and of course, had to listen to the attendant try to upsell me. After the first time, I repeated that I just wanted the basic car wash (which at $20 now should at least come with a free massage). Once again, he persisted in trying to upsell me (perhaps, he needed the money to buy anothyr body piercing). When I rather sternly repeated that I only wanted the basic car wash, and did not need to hear the sales pitch, I was told "We have to say it to every customer, so If you don't want to hear it, don't come back." I asked the name of his manager, and was told it wass "Will, and he is inside." After my car ran through the wash, I pulled over to park. By now, "Will and he is inside" was now outside, and was heading towards my vehicle. I asked, "Are you Will?" And he replied, "Yes, what's the problem?" When I suggested he tell his attendant to "lose the attitide," he replied something to the effect that he "does not treat his employees that way, and added that he instructs all of his employees to spew the upsell message." So, I asked him if he also instructs them to tell customers not to come back if they don't want to hear it each time, he replied, "If you don't want to hear it, sign up for the Car Wash Club" (for $34.95/month). Quite a marketing strategy when you get right down to it ... Annoy your customers so much, that they will join your Car Wash Club." I wonder if they have ever heard the expression about "Stepping pver a dollar to pick up a penny." I wil be frequenting Ginger's Car Wash in the future. Beware! I signed up for one month and they continued to charge me for the next month so I kept it for a few months. When I decided to cancel it I emailed and in writing asked to have the service cancelled . When it was not cancelled I called twice and was assured It was cancelled and I wouldn't be charged anymore. Quick and clean, but not very thorough. I was looking forward to a nice spring wipe down. There was a couple specific spots I needed wiped inside my car which I specifically pointed out to the attendant. They seemed to be specifically forgotten!booo! Not impressed at all. However, I didn't say anything so I don't know if they would've gone over the spots they missed. The exterior wasn't spectacular either. My car still had bird dropping spots after the car went through the top of the line wash at $20. The guy wiping the car after was pathetic. It was'nt a wipe it was a hit or miss - mostly miss. I had my car washed there today and paid the $18 rate. When my car came out there was still bugs on the windshield. I pointed it out to to the people drying the car at the end and they seemed inconvenienced by my request to wipe off a few bug splatters, this was after handing them a $5 tip. When I arrived home two towns away I noticed the back was still covered with dirt and the front end of the car with bug splatter and dirt. It was by far the worst wash I have ever had here. I received a gift card for xmas to Westerly Car Wash. I decided to go there today to get my car washed. I didnt know the amount that was on the gift card so I asked the attendant who was waiting at the automatic machine if he could let me know what the amount on the card was.. He said he wasnt sure if he could but he punched in some numbers and than said "your all set." I said wait how much is on my card? He said he didnt know and he had gone ahead and charged the MOST expensive car wash to my card without even asking me what one I wanted! I asked what car wash he put in, he quickly said the sea comber, I said how much is that? He handed me the card, after charging my gift card and I saw the price, it was $20 the most expensive wash. I said you didnt even ask me and I dont want that one, I want the $16 dollar one, which is still expensive but the cheapest one they offer. He said I had to pull over to the side, without even apolizing for his error in judgement. I than had to wait while he waited on the other people and finally came over - still no apology and said he would refund the amount, I doubt he did. I frequently use this car wash because I like to be able to get a thorough cleaning inside and outside my car. They do a great job! Once in awhile I find a small area that needs to be re-vacuumed and I point that out to them and they always immediately correct the problem. There can be a long wait on some days. I suggest going when it might be not so busy, ie when everyone else in town is watching a Patriots game! Sometimes one has to wait, but I plan on that especially during the summer. I try to support local but when you gouge your customers I just can't. All I wanted was a simple wash and undercarriage but apparently you have to buy the most expensive wash in order to get the undercarriage. I gave a 3 dollar tip because I felt bad thinking that no one must tip because of the rip off prices. Then I get someone who whips down my car in 30 seconds and says your good. But I guess if I had to work in the damp cold all day with no one tipping because of the overpriced wash I wouldn't take pride in my work either. You have to realize that this is New England and the key is to keep the salt off your car but people won't pay 17 dollars a time to do that. read more

This place looks new, I guess, which may help to explain why no one knew what they were doing. I only wanted to vacuum my car. I had to explain three times that I just wanted a vacuum and not a wash. It was $15. It took forever - I must have waited 30 minutes (there was no one ahead of me). They asked me if I wanted to drive it out but the only way out was through the car wash and I tried to say that I wasn't paying for a car wash but the person I was talking to simply turned around and took off! I couldn't figure out what was happening but the next thing I know, my car was bring spritzed and standing in the car wash. One of the employees drove it through. Ok, so you think I'd be happy but when I got home and looked in the back seat, they hadn't vacuumed it! Do they just do the floors? The seat was covered with food bits and beach sand!
