This required flowers to be packed and shipped quickly to maintain freshness. Of course these flowers are also sentimental and would not be able to be replaced so I called a lot of shipping stores to do my research on which one to go with. From my first call, the woman on the phone was so helpful and clearly invested in helping me pick the best shipping option- she advised me on the limitations of expedited shipping over the weekend and also gave good advice about not wasting my money on overnight shipping since ground shipping would still get my flowers to their destination within reasonable time at much less cost. When I actually showed up a week later, I worked with a different staff member, but he was clearly aware of my case already, gave me free packing paper to use in my project, and was so helpful in patiently giving me all my shipping options again and helping me tape up my box with Fragile and This Way Up stickers. However, after my last experience with Pioneer Printing I will no longer be using them. I submitted a request for three foam core backed posters for a local client. At that time, the representative told me that we would see a proof before final printing. The client picked up the finished product without seeing a proof. The client discovered that there were strange white lines on two of the posters. These lines were not present in the documents submitted for printing but the client was told it was an error in the file and rudely dismissed. It is my opinion, that a professional printer would have noticed the white lines and notified the client. They would also have provided a proof, especially in the event that something unsightly showed up on the job. However the staff at Pioneer Printing refused to acknowledge the error or reprint the graphics. I was forced to have the posters printed at a print shop in Corvallis. The same file was used to create the second batch of posters and those posters came out perfectly.
