Best price I could find to replace transmission in a 2014 Nissan Versa Note. Great work in a timely manner. Thank you David.

This all sounds awful, I know, but David was great and was so flexible as we made arrangements to move the car.

They rebuilt my transmission, but forgot to seal it and after I took my car home, found a puddle of…read moreoil on my driveway! Took it back and they resealed it and returned it back to me, making me believe they had completely checked and finally finished their work. A year later, I had it checked somewhere else, and was so upset to find out, I had been driving my car with VERY little oil!!! The bastard never had refilled the oil in my transmission after they had failed to seal it properly!! Very incompetent shop! I'm surprised if they have any returning customers! Also, my steering wheel kept shaking after the transmission repair, and they kept telling me it was normal! I don't want to even give them one star! But I accidentally pressed it and can't undo it!

Had a pesky right blinker that we kept getting criminally high quotes for. My husband says…read moresomewhere in LA told him "maybe around $1000"...??? We were dealing with an incident claim at the nearby Walmart auto center (they broke our windshield during an OIL CHANGE. DO NOT RECOMMEND) and randomly found Parra's on maps. Mr Parra himself was already with a customer but came over to us as soon as he was done with them. He very quickly assessed the issue, asked us to park closer, fixed it immediately (even though we ordered a misfiring part). And then didn't charge us a dime. He said it was a safety necessity for our kids on board. I will be coming back for all future work, he was clearly an expert and natural. I'm not sure if the negative reviews just met a completely different man? He does not care about juicing customers for money. He is fast paced and knowledgeable. Works well on the fly. Maybe you have to catch him on a Sunday? Maybe you have to have a good attitude? All I know is, he will be fair in pricing and know a lot about your car. I will be driving up from LA to see him every time I need.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR AND YOUR TIME DO NOT GO HERE !! I took my car in for a simple oil pan…read morereplacement and engine mounts. They failed to properly seal the oil pan twice and I had to take my car back 3 times! the second time they had used glue to seal the oil pan making a huge mess and voiding my warranty. Not only did it take them 3 attempts to finally reaper the oil pan they also over filled my engine oil by 2 and half quarts and the e fine mounts had to be replaced "again" cause it was quite obvious they never changed in the first place but charged me for it. Now my entire front suspension is compromised either due to them tampering or just the fact they had to drop my front suspension 3 times. Also their main tech isn't ASE certified and is just a "helper " AVOID THIS CHOP SHOP !!

Critical Review of Allstar Auto:…read more I took my car to Allstar Auto because I couldn't clear a persistent P2078 code, despite having replaced all the relevant sensors and components related to the intake system (throttle body, air filter, hoses). Initially, I replaced the MAP sensor to see if that was the issue. When I realized it wasn't, I removed the replacement and reinstalled the original sensor. Unfortunately, while doing so, I over-tightened the bolt, causing it to snap and leaving it stuck in the intake manifold. At this point, frustrated and believing that this job was best left to a professional, I searched Yelp for a reputable mechanic and found Allstar Auto. When I brought my car in, it was hesitating during acceleration but still running. The shop diagnosed the problem as an issue with the intake manifold and replaced it--charging me, of course. However, this did not resolve the issue. The check engine light came back on almost immediately after I drove the car home, displaying the same P2078 code. I called the shop and they advised me to change the MAP sensor and that should fix the issue. I changed it but it did not correct the issue. Due to a work trip, I wasn't able to drive my car for about a month. When I finally did, it was making a terrible noise, and displaying the same P2078 code. I brought it back to Allstar Auto, and they identified the real issue as the timing chain, which they then fixed. I was charged yet again. In summary, I'm extremely disappointed with the service at Allstar Auto. As a DIYer, I might have expected the intake manifold to be the problem, but I trusted the expertise of trained mechanics to correctly diagnose and fix the issue the first time. I expected a thorough diagnostic process, not just a quick fix that didn't address the root cause. Instead, I was charged for unnecessary work, only to end up with the same problem and an even bigger issue later on. This experience has shaken my trust in the shop, and I would caution others to consider their options carefully before taking their vehicle here.
