I love this place. There's always a friendly greeting with excellent donuts and kolaches offered. There are many kolache varieties and each are delicious so plan to get a variety. Everything is freshly baked but know that some of the favorites will go very fast. This location is a very short drive from multiple neighborhoods so the locals pounce early. Regardless of your choice, you can't go wrong here. read more

Westco Donut - Counter - Donuts Near Me - Richmond, Texas

I've always stopped by here to get old fashion donuts and jalapeño beef kolacha. Recently, I ordered a HAPPY BDAY donuts and a bunch of other pastries for a friend's birthday. Let's just say, I am pleased. It was easy to order, just had to text the number (number on Yelp site is wrong, I had to google when I called and was instructed to text exactly what I wanted and when I was picking it up). Plus paying prior just makes it less of a hassle on the morning of when I was running all over the place. For $3/letter, I think it's worth it. My friend end up crying when she saw the HAPPY BDAY donuts so thank you guys for making it!!! It really made her day, plus she has a major sweet tooth so this was perfect to start her birthday weekend. Everything came out as expected and majority of their kolaches are halal, which makes it easier for me to order for some of my Muslim friends. When I mentioned one of my friends is allergic to beef and another allergic to tree-nuts, they made sure to pack it separately and put a note on each box. It's always clean inside and all the servers are always friendly. I've been coming here for years and recommend anyone who happens to be in the area to stop by even for a quick bite, parties, or bring boxes of donuts/kolaches to work. Plenty of parking and they take both cards and cash. Theres some chairs and chairs but space is limited. There's always something for someone, old fashion donuts for those who like semi-sweet, bunch of other donut options for the sweet tooth lovers, kolaches and breakfast burritos for those who wants a more savior morning start. read more

I had the absolute best blueberry cake doughnut I've ever tasted at this location. I stumbled across the shop on my way home while craving something sweet, and I'm so glad I did. The prices are very affordable, and the doughnut was out of this world. I didn't even get the chance to snap a picture because I dove right in--it was that good. Soft, moist, and perfectly fresh, with just the right amount of sweetness that wasn't overbearing. Since I stopped by close to lunchtime, they were clearly keeping everything freshly stocked, and it showed in every bite. read more

I usually come here right when they open (night shift life) and the girl working the register is so friendly. They have the best red velvet cake donut and I love when they have the donuts with cereal on it. The prices are very good as well. I highly recommend them if you're in the area. They do close by 1:30 so if you like to sleep in, you need to get up earlier to get their donuts read more

Purchased for my office and everyone loved. Hot and fresh! Cake donuts were the first to go (extremely good!) with the plain glazed the next! Usually donuts last quite a while in my office but not these. Only one I wouldn't buy again is the strawberry. Strawberry glaze had a strong artificial taste. Everything else though was great. read more

I really like this donut shop. I'm a HUGE fan of Shipley's donuts but I will drive past Shipley's to come here! The variety is impressive, tasty, and affordable. Their boudin kolaches are mouth watering good. As are their cake donuts! I haven't eaten anything I didn't enjoy here! read more

Great donuts and kolache...they know what they are doing. Not overly sweet. I like them. The service is awesome and quick. Check them out.

This has been a go to for a quick pick up on weekends or early mornings. Most recently order biscuits for a work meeting. The ordering and prepayment process was super easy and convenient. My pick up day happened to be national donut day. They already had a dozen donuts packed with my order for everyone! Talk about true customer service. Mind you the texture of the donuts are perfect. I know Texas ppl love their shipleys but westco has them beat. This is on a basic glaze comparison. Before I even mention the variety of specialties like the red velvet or boudain kolaches. Can't go wrong here! read more

I've visited this location several times but this time was different with the iced coffee that I simply couldn't put down. The staff was kind and quick. Not sure if it's a Texas thing, but why did I never think of birthday donuts before? My husband threw out the idea because our daughter LOVES donuts. Called in to place our order and the owners at Westco were so sweet and made it so easy to order. The end results are oh so cute! All of the kids faces lit up when they saw the box open. The best part was seeing birthday girl's eyes in amazement when she saw her name and that big ol donut! Especially seeing her big smile after she took a bite. Order was made on time and the donuts are fresh! You can taste it. Their dough is so soft and fluffy, absolutely delicious! And they also have a great selection of kolaches and croissants. Customer service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend. read more

I ended up getting 2 glazed donuts and a cinnamon twist. She even offered to warm up my donuts. I am not a run of Shipleys (AT ALL) but I am a fan of WESTCO They were inexpensive and fresh. Not greasy at all!!! Tasted wonderful. I will come back often!! read more

5 stars all day. When I first walked into the establishment, I was greeted even though they were pretty busy. I purchase all four of these items for 5.24 (taxes included). The kolache was heavy. Totally worth the 2 dollars spent on and it was soooo good. It reminded me of the old times when my mom used to make us boudin and crackers when we were children. I then ate the powdered sugar donut, all I'm going to say is you can taste the freshness. It tasted like those hostess powered mini donuts but way fresher. The Boston creme was amazing too! The highlight had to have been the maple donut. Now, I love a good maple donut. It just sucks that many times I don't get a huge taste of maple but only small hints. This donut did not disappoint! I got a fresh maple taste through the whole donut. Move over Krispy Kreme, Westco Donuts is in the house. read more
