50 cent and Jadakiss performing live

Was here for the LOX and friends experience II over the weekend and boy did they show out for their hometown! If I had to guess the place held a few thousand people that was all having an unbelievable time at this event. Too many pics/videos to upload them all but I'd be back again next year or any other time they're perforating here again.

PROS: from the outside it looks beautiful and inside it's very spacious. The staff is very nice and they hold a lot of great events CONS: limited parking for a county center. I would not host a large event, like a sports memorabilia show, due to the lack of parking. Also, the inside needs a renovation. Looks like it's run down OVERALL: if there is something here that I will like I'll come. But I would be cautious about parking

This is no Madison Square Garden, in no way, but this is as close as you're going to get to professional basketball up in White Plains and Westchester Knicks! My husband purchased court side tickets for a weekday game. So let me put all the players on the table: -The Westchester County Center is a multifunction building hosting tons of events. From Home Shows, Stamp Shows, The Circus and Concerts, showcasing Aretha Franklin and The Jacksons who have stomped their way up in White Plains, -The Westchester County Center, first opened its doors to the public 90+ years ago- and it's still pumping, -The WCC was constructed with an art-deco style in mind -The WCC is in the Downtown area of White Plains and right across from my favorite restaurant City Limits , and -The WCC is home to the Westchester Knicks! Need I say more? Watching a basketball game is exciting. Players are up-front and personal. You get the energy. You get the real thing, no replays, if you blink, you missed it. Even though my husband and I weren't at The Garden, we always have so much fun coming here.

The County Center has always been a good spot for all sorts of local events over the years; job fairs, kids shows, theater, collectible shows, and concerts too. Yep, White Plains rocked it back in 2012 when the band Boston came to town! And now they have the D League Knicks playing there as well. Pretty sweet. I'm actually looking forward to checking out some games. If I could make one request to improve the place it would be that they get more live music. I can't remember a single interesting band stopping by after Boston and it's been like 2 years. It would be awesome to see some live music without driving down to the city every time, sitting in traffic, and paying a fortune.

The absolute worst place to go! We are still trying to get out of the parking lot and it's been 1 HR! No one directing traffic!

Not very smooth per the skaters coming off that were more advanced. The beginner coaches here are very friendly, per some of the other parents, otherwise kids are coming for the freestyle practice sessions ($25) - you can pay online or in-person (though that's slower). The two sheets are the American and Canadian ice sheets. The main lobby has some wooden benches for skaters to put on gear, but if you want a table to work as an adult, go upstairs to the "cafe-ish" and viewing areas over the rinks (which is nice). Need a few more outlets, but you can find a few to charge up your phones/laptops.

In addition to two full sized hockey rinks and skate rentals, it has a hockey and skate shop inside, and a lounge and snack bar upstairs known as Snackish. Snackish Cafe & Grill includes wholesome breakfast, lunch and snacking fare, and specialties like soups to warm you up when you're getting off the ice. I love the hot chocolate with marshmallows, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup with some brown sugar pop-tarts to warm me up and satisfy my sweet tooth. Staff is friendly and there are plenty of tvs upstairs to watch whatever hockey game is on or other sporting event.

The Westchester Knicks are a minor league team affiliated with the New York Knicks but since it's beginning only one player has made it to the Knicks and it was a short stay .Took my godson to also his first game and he loved it as well, ticket prices are under 60 bucks for the best seats and the place holds about 5000 seats which means , anywhere you sit , you will have a great view of the court and all the action .Most players will play overseas or for a foreign league which is not the NBA but most can make a good living playing overseas . Concession prices are reasonable and staff are friendly and helpful including the county security. If you can't make a visit to see the Knicks at the garden , a visit to white plains for the Westchester Knicks is second best .

My sophomore year I was in a room with bad heat and no insulation in a place where the snow got so bad they had to shut the college down for a few days! When my roommates boyfriend sent me emails telling me to kill myself, I reported it to my RA who told me to try and suck it up as she was leaving for Study abroad next semester. When I was rush to the hospital with what turned out to be kidney stones, campus safety first told me it was just food poisoning because they had had 3 cases that week. Never mind that the head of the French department spoke French as a THIRD Language and the heads of the theater department had the lowest ratings on Rate my Professor.
