Sadly, a lot of the stores closed since the pandemic. I like to stop here when I'm in the area for the William Sonoma but prefer the Clinton outlets. The girls likes JCrew, Old Navy, H&M and Claire's. They used to have a Bath & Body works but it closed. Not bad but I would go to Clinton outlets if I had to choose between the two. read more

Most of the complex is empty. Very limited selection of stores to visit in comparison to the Tanger Outlets near my home on Long Island and Woodbury Premium Outlets further upstate. read more

I'm not a huge shopper, but enjoy coming here as there is a good variety of stores, and I love walking around outdoors. They seem to always have fun things going on, like we once brought my son to a touch-a-truck event here that was AWESOME, and he had his first pony ride here too when they had set up a cute little petting zoo. Sadly this outlet center is in decline. It's far from its heyday when every store location was filled. Now, huge sections of the outlets are just empty and there are only a handful of stores left. Large portions of the remaining store space are filled with a synthetic ice skating rink and a furniture store. There still is a Williams Sonoma, Loft, J Crew, H&M and Pepperidge Farm store, but otherwise, be prepared for lots of vacant storefronts. On the upside, it's easy to find parking in the vast parking lots. In fact, we visited the outdoor market they had set up in the parking lot near the movie theater that featured local businesses and crafters. It was nice to see that they are trying to use the parking lot to support local businesses, but I hope they can find more tenants for the outlets again because it currently is starting to look a bit like a ghost town. read more

I took my girls here today in hopes of doing some school shopping, but the place is a ghost town! More vacant spaces than full. Sad, because it's such a pretty space and is so nicely landscaped and walkable. I can't understand why there are no stores here! read more

I guess you can call it an outlet. Not much to this place really. Shopping options are small and uninteresting with absolutely no decent places to eat. ...but there are plenty of bathrooms - right around every corner. Go figure... read more

Lots of empty stores here. Only a handful of businesses are open...we visited Old Navy, The Loft, J Crew, and Carter's. Covid probably has something to do with this retail ghost town as I can't recall it being this empty in the past. I would avoid until this location can rebound and get some new retail tenants. This was my first time visiting the outlets under its new ownership. I went out of my way there even though I knew I didn't have much time. Their web site advertised that they closed at 9 p.m. I arrived at 8:05. I stopped by the Williams Sonoma Pop Up shop (which was lovely and which I didn't know was there now), then I headed across the outlets specifically to visit Madison Furniture Barn. That was my primary reason for going. I had been only once before with a friend a year ago, before buying my house. Walking through the outlets was creepy at night. It was dead. There were barely any other people. There was no music. It was not pleasant. I kept looking around and seeing either empty stores or stores that had inexplicably closed early. And guess what else was closed when I made it across the outlets? Madison Furniture Barn, of course. There was no sign in the window explaining why, either. I was rather angry that I had wasted my time & gas going to the outlets. According to the outlets web site, the outlets are open until 9 p.m. That makes you think that, you know, the stores will be open until, I don't know, 9 p.m.? Isn't that what you would believe if you read that? Well, you would be wrong. As I've just discovered from revisiting the website, you have to click down in a drop-down list to see the individual hours for every store. Interestingly, Madison Furniture Barn is the only one currently that chooses to close earlier than the rest of the outlets. (Of course, this doesn't explain the multiple stores, like Claires, for example, that were also inexplicably closed by 8:15 p.m. on a Thursday night.) I will probably return to the outlets solely to visit the Williams Sonoma pop-up shop because I'm trying to furnish my home. I don't know that I would bother trying to visit the Madison Furniture Barn again because, honestly, I'm not feeling too kindly toward them now. I don't think I would recommend the Westbrook Outlets in general, though. If I was shopping for clothes or gifts, I would go to the Foxwoods outlets. read more

Although there are some empty store fronts the stores that are there are good! The management is doing the best they can to compete with on line shoppers. 2nd Saturday of the Month there are over 80, local business and crafters throughout the center! Check it out! Westbrook is a great outlet! I shop William Sonoma, Vanity Fair, Bath & Body Works and love the selections AND the prices! Scored some goodies at Sonoma, staff always friendly and helpful. Vanity Fair sells Wrangler brand and got some nice Western shirts for him at a very low price! I couldn't resist popping a pair of sunglasses in my basket, because they were marked 5.99 but I got a double discount! Restrooms are located around the mall, and the grounds are tended well. Not really sure if it's worth the drive here, more and more stores seems to be going out and no new stores are going in and only have one pizza place to eat. But if you do go you really never have to worry about a crowd. Stores that are their have good deals tho! read more

Check your bags before you leave to make sure the merchandise you purchased is in there. And forget calling the store directly, you get a person in a call center not in the country. I have not received such poor customer service. Had I lived closer I would have driven back to claim my item, but living over forty miles away, I just cut my loses...the said call center employee plays the middle person and you never get connected to the store itself. The only option I was given was to come back into the store, no offer to credit my card or mail the merchandise to me. Lesson learned, not shopping H&M again... read more

Well this center has been under new management for over 2 years now & 22 vacant stores to shop . The last store going into the center was H&M 2 yrs ago. also limited places to eat . The new cafe is on limited coverage , due to staffing issues & was closed @ weeks on hand because of this . read more

I am very happy with the shopping there and I am surprised at the negative reviews. I frequently shop at several stores in the outlet and have found some great deals. I do not care that they do not have a restaurants because part of the reason that I make this trip to the shoreline is to visit the great seafood restaurants in the area. read more

So this mall is dying a slow death! So many of the stores are empty! My daughter wanted to go to Hollister, which we were at not too long again, but it's no longer there! At least update the mall directory online!!! read more

This is a great place for relaxed day of shopping, great deals at old navy & J crew. Also there is a new huge H&M.
