Firstly, I discovered I'd gotten a better deal online than the same sets were priced in this store. Secondly, I found a Pyrex dish & lid of a size I don't have at home (despite owning many), so decided to purchase it. The line at the cashier was several customers deep (5 or 6) and was going nowhere, as the cashier was having difficulty with checking someone out. There was another cash register available, with no one manning it. There was, however, a woman roaming about watching everything and everyone, except the length of the growing cashier line. Presumably she was the store manager and cared more about the activities of potential customers than making them PAYING customers, i.e., allowing them to CHECK OUT! After a few minutes, I decided I would no longer wait in a stand-still checkout line, while the manager of the store cared little about her customers. Rather loudly, I told my husband it wasn't worth the wait, returned the item I was planning on purchasing right back to its original location, and walked out. THIS, apparently, was worth the notice of the manager, who followed us to the door and beyond, then watched us walk to another one. I've since read reviews of other Corning Revere Factory Stores and apparently it is altogether common for their management to be total jerks vis-a-vis their customers. While I can understand that store management has a vested interest in watching for theft, are they so concerned in watching that no one steals that they don't care that people can't purchase things in a timely fashion? And, for the record, we honest folk don't like theft any more than the stores do. Theft causes prices to be raised, after all!

Due to their age, they ended up making all new cushions, very plush and way more comfortable than the originals. Rachel was fun to work with and also helped pick out fabric to make coordinating throw pillows. She is very level-headed, accommodating and full of ideas! We look forward to seeing her again soon.
