More than a shave, I needed a brand new beard carved out of the overgrowth on my face. I knew that for setting the initial shape of my new beard, I wanted to seek out the steady hand of a highly talented and experienced barber. After soliciting suggestions and reading copious reviews, I ended up at Mister Grooming. I had the good fortune of having Jenn Beers doing the shave, and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Despite myself arriving a few minutes late, she never for a moment rushed through the delicate and painstaking process of going over what I wanted (including a patient review of photos), treating the skin with hot towels, pretrimming, and finally shaving and aftershave. Jenn's attention to detail was exactly what you would expect from a master barber with dedication to the craft. She took great care in setting each line and each angle in my new beard, tending to each element from the proper position and approach. She paid attention to the curves and shape of my face and gave me the shave I asked for, but in an application that highlighted my features (and let the beard obscure the less attractive parts). No cuts or nicks, of course. Her steady hand and firm skullcap grip convey the confidence of expertise. The products they used were excellent. The cream provided an excellent glide and the scent, which paired well with the aftershave I can still smell as I write this, is masculine, woodsy, and one I have enjoyed all morning. Not too oily, but provides enough moisture to nourish your face through a Pittsburgh winter. If I had one complaint, and it is a very, very nitpicky complaint, it would be that they didn't heat the cream; instead using a hot towel to heat it up after it is applied to the face. This works, but I prefer the feeling of the application of heated shaving cream. No big deal. If you are looking to set a beard, or just an excellent straight razor shave, I recommend Jenn Beers at Mister Grooming. I'll be back - and on time, next time.

I wish I'd paid attention to the brief warning that is left to email your company email privately rather than using platforms that allow people to share their experiences publicly. Only because it seems that I would have saved my self this public harassment. As your response you use words to insult my intelligence. As if I had a problem with reading comprehension. Though I question your intelligence, for in the standard English language, putting quotation marks around a name usually implies that the name is a nickname, a pseudonym, or that the writer is being sarcastic and questioning the legitimacy of the name. It is generally not grammatically correct to use quotation marks with someone's real name. Such tremendous pride and anger. But your voicemail doesn't work all the time and leaves people on the ring ring when calling +1 412-207-7891. Meaning forever ringing and never a voicemail.
