Yesterday I had my third haircut here. Second time being cut by Hannah. She is definitely my go-to now. Both cuts from her were flawless. My main issue with most barbershops are that they rush. They have you in and out of that chair in 5 minutes even if there's no wait and you get home and there's always at least one spot that's not even or not blended well. I had given up finding a barbershop in Beaver County that takes the time to do it right. Hannah definitely does it right. When I came in, I was the only customer. 5 minutes into my cut two more gentlemen walked in and I thought, crap, she's going to rush to finish me now, because that's what I'm used to. Not the case at all. Despite being the only one working and a third guy coming in after the two, she took her time and went over my hair carefully and thoroughly. Making sure it was cut precisely. I also had my beard trimmed which I've never gotten anywhere before and she made it look really nice. If you're the kind of person who's impatient/hates waiting, be warned that if there's a few people ahead of you, you might have to sit there a while... but trust me, it's worth the wait. read more

Overpriced and poor customer service. Roughly the same quality you get from chain barbershop for 15 percent more. Shop does not accept credit / debit cards, cash only, and charges a steep fee to use the onsite ATM. Hired man gives an acceptable cut, but the owner seems to busy sharing his opinions with a captive audience to concentrate on his work. Try another establishment if you value your dollar and your peace. read more

Dylan was great again. Came in last minute he did not mind it. Would recommend, the only negative is they only accept cash

their beast at cutting hair and making you look your best. one of the only true real barbershops left around.

Classic barbershop with very friendly and talented barbers. The shop itself is top notch in style and cleanliness. The price of their services is great too ! read more

This place is really nice to get your haircut and the barbers are very funny. Totally recommend.

I brought my nephew in for a haircut and I saw they do beard trims. I am 5 months into growing my latest beard. I probably have 2" to 3" growth. The older barber did an amazing job. He cleaned up my beard nicely without taking to much off of it. I would definitely go back in a few months after I get some more length. Thanks. read more

The Local Barbershop - Beard trim - Barbers Near Me - Conway, Pennsylvania

As the "unacceptable" happens, sometimes a wife tags along with her husband to go to the barber. Lol But, I love this place!! Everyone who works there is friendly and shares in good conversation, the inside is always so clean, and my husband always comes home with handsome fresh cut! 5 star review from the customer and of course...the wife. My husband was initially recommended to go there when we first moved to the area in Dec of '19, and has gone back ever since! read more

Thought I found a new barbershop. Got my first haircut there by Brandon and it was really good, however I noticed the frequent breaks by the barbers which makes your wait time much longer than it should be. Today I tried getting my sons haircut, he's only a baby. They had a long line, about 6 people ahead of us and I accepted a long wait time. I was there over an hour and watched every barber take 1-2 breaks. Finally after an hour my son is ready for his haircut, first barber picks up a coffee and heads to the break room, next barber decides its best to clean the shaving cream dispenser for 10 minutes. I couldn't take it anymore, I got up and left. I tip between 7-10$ every haircut, but I will 100% take my business back to Main Street barbers! Never again. The only reason it's not a one star is because of Brandon, he saves you a little bit in my book. read more

I have lived in the area nearly all of my life. I have gone to the big chains and other "mom and pop" shops. Honestly there is not a better place to get your hair cut than here. The shop is newly remodeled with all new floors, chairs, and sinks. The walls and decor are brand new, as well. While it is recently under new management, it is the same staff that has created "regulars" for years. You know the barbers are great when people will sit and wait 3-4 turns for their favorite barber (Hannah is my favorite, but people wait for the others too). The prices are great and they are more than willing to give you whatever style you desire: simple to unique. If you're in Beaver County or the surrounding area, this is the place to go. read more

I'm new to the area and this was my first haircut in PA. This place is great. They know how to cut men's hair and beards. I will be coming back while I'm in town. read more

Jess and Kim are great! I take my son to get cut here. It's always clean, and the atmosphere is pretty good!

Just an old fashioned barber shop. I don't need much cutting anymore but they can trim the beard well, better than I am able. Good prices.

went to the Local barbershop for the first time the other day and Brandon and Jessica were there. I ended up getting Jessica to cut my hair, and she was great very friendly to talk with and gives great advice on ways to style your hair. the whole time I was there you can hear Brandon talking with his client and again friendly and genuinely interested in the customer's stories. The shop is really clean and you can tell they take pride in their business. the prices are very reasonable. I have used another shop for years and on this day I showed up hours are open to 7:00 and the door was locked and the barber came to the door and said he was closing early it was 5:30 and only one person in the chair at first I was pissed, but now I am glad because I found the Local Barbershop and they are now going to get my business they are open later for us who work til 5 or later this is a major plus ,so when you are ready to get your next cut give them a try you will come out looking sharp I had several people at work comment on my cut and said it looked way better than what I was getting before. to me this is the best shop in town read more

My son and husband go every 2 weeks and always come home looking as handsome as ever. Our 3 year old won't let anyone but Hannah cut his hair and he tells EVERYONE about her :) read more

I've been going here my whole life, and the transition for Mickeys to Local was nothing but a major step in the right direction. It's locally owned by a barber and she does a great job running it. I have yet to be I unsatisfied, I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a steady place. It's like $16 for a adult haircut I think, but it's worth it to me to spend a couple dollars more for the service and the local business aspect. Barbers are very friendly and I can almost guarantee Pete will be playing either an old documentary or some 80's Rock and roll tribute movie. As long as I live in the area, I'm a customer for life. Cash only though. read more

Have been going to this barber shop for close to ten years and I have never been to a better barber shop. Very friendly people the experience is always great. The remodel is fantastic which makes the experience so much better. They aren't there just to make a dollar they actually care to take their time and get to know their customers. They know me, my wife and kids by our names because we aren't just customers to them we are friends. I Definitely highly recommend this barber shop to all!!! read more

The place to go to get all your hairs cut! They are kind courteous, and always give what the customers want. The price is spot on too. The owner and Master Barber Hannah is really top notch. You can't go wrong with any of the professional barbers there. They are masters of their craft. The place is great for kids 1 to 101 years old. Highly recommended! read more
