A very sad mall. They didn't even bother putting up Christmas decorations this year! Lots of empty store fronts. Sears is closing down. What they desperately need to do is put in a full size (with seating) Starbucks (or other coffee shop) to attract shoppers, spruce up the common areas (yes, and put up Christmas decorations) and have more shops like Hallmark, Barnes and Noble, etc. All they mostly have now are shoe stores, jewelry stores and clothes. This mall is just sad. It just reminds me of how malls were back in the 90s. The interior and exterior is just blah, the stores there are pretty basic. No popular stores like Apple, Old Navy, Gap or Forever 21. Also every time I go there it seems pretty empty even on the weekends. Its not really a place you want to hang out at, its more like if you need something just go in and out. I do see potential with this mall but I just don't think that the owners/management are putting enough effort to lure the customers and tenants in. read more

This community mall is quite smaller than average size. It has brand stores like Target, Sears, Macy's and JCPenney, but overall, the stores located inside this mall are ones I have never heard of before. This is a community mall where you can come and go to get basic necessities, it's not a mall where you should hang out with friends and family on the weekends, or during free time. Yes, I do find items that are inexpensive here, but the selection isn't that great, and the quality is fairly low. Stores in this mall come and go since they have to compete with the other non-brand stores in this mall as well. The West Valley mall lost an Aeropostale, and Old Navy, and Barnes and Nobles. It isn't really a shopping center worth going to anymore, speaking from a person living in Tracy for over 10 years. This mall does have a great food court with a wide selection from different food franchises. The space is quite big and there are TV's for entertainment while you sit and eat. In addition, there is a huge carousel in the middle of the food court where you can take your kids to go on, and have the ride of their life. It kind of makes this mall unique. There are kid centers in this mall where you can relieve the kid's stress with pleasure on the play areas located in the Target and Macy's wings. Also an arcade called Tilt where your kids can stay while you relaxingly shop. I gave it 2 stars because I like the food court size and variety, and the fact that they have a movie theater in this mall makes it functional enough for me to come. read more

West valley mall is NOT all that. If you in the valley I suggest going to malls in other cities, Livermore or else where. WV Mall has many stores but many of them somewhat have the same products and there is not much to seek thru. I NEVER FIND ANYTHING I WANT THERE, Esp. the shoes! Always behind on getting new one. Yes, they have playgrounds in the mall but it still does not do justice. I can say that they always decorate for the holidays, ALWAYS. Compared to Bay Area malls, I love coming here! Like others have said, this mall does seem a bit empty but I find that to be an advantage. You don't have to fight for parking spots, push through crowds, or wait forever in long lines. Shopping is more relaxing like the way it should be. I love that all my favorite stores are here (Macy's, Target, Barnes and Noble) and items on shelves are not strewn about. It's pretty cool that there's a reptile store and a dog/cat rescue operation here. The play structures for kids seem maintained. Overall, a great family friendly mall that has a bit of something for everyone. read more

Parents Beware! My kid almost got hit by that train ride inside the mall. I've always thought that train was a bad idea and an accident waiting to happen. The train rides around all the shops in the mall, and besides going fast it's too close to all the shops entrances, it's so close that if you're not looking when you're stepping out of a store, you will get hit.! Why did they put this in anyways, it's so dangerous. Stay away from that train. read more

Barnes & Nobles is GONE!! GONE GONE GONE! I'm so upset about this, I mean seriously, this was the worst decision ever :( They also closed American Eagle, that is the only brand/store I buy jeans from , so now I have to travel to Pleasanton or Modesto. I wonder who is making the decisions for this mall, whoever it is, really wants to drag Tracy to the darkest deepest hole ever! I gave it two stars just because the mall is sparkling clean all the time, but maybe it is this way because the mall is empty most of the time :/ We have a Macy's, but it's so small comparing to other Macy's and has little selection just like JC Penney. Deeply saddened to not have a decent mall around me in Tracy!!! :( This mall is by far one of the smallest malls I have been too, which sucks because one of my favorite hobbies is to SHOP! For girls, there is not a huge selection of stores. They have Charlotte Russe and a few other stores that remind me of Forever 21, but don't come close. They also have American Eagle and Pac Sun. You can find some cheap deals at Ross, even cute shirts if you get lucky! For guys, sorry can't help you much there. There is just not a big selection for you. I would recommend the jewelry stores there though! DeVons has gorgeous jewelry. I just bought myself a present for working so hard! ;) The manager there was super nice and really helpful. He didn't push me to buy anything, and he was so attentive. Before I even started looking he offered to clean my engagement ring for me! The food court is small but ok. I like Sbarro and Charley's, but my favorite is Hot Dog on a stick! I love the frozen lemonade with just a plain hot dog on a stick. The outside is perfectly crunchy, just how I like it! The mall does have a Target and a Barnes and Noble, two of my favorite places. Target always has cheap stuff, especially the school supplies right now! I got four notebooks for 42 cents! I also got lots of goodies for my puppy for just a dollar each! Lastly, the mall has a movie theatre inside which is convenient, but its really small and kinda gives me the creeps because its so old. But you can't go wrong when you are the only people watching, most of the time you get the whole theatre to yourself on the weekdays. This mall has the potential to be better because there is always a lot of people there and a few decent stores, but we just need to bring in some bigger stores such as Forever or Macy's to attract more people or to just please my compulsion to shop! read more

This mall looked very nice on the inside. Very clean and big :] unlike my mall in Stockton. The only sad thing about this mall is that there were a lot of empty spaces not being rented out. So, at one end of the mall it was just pretty much dead and quiet. It sucks for stores that are in that end since they probably rely on people to walk that way. A nice mall for Tracy. It's a pretty typical one level shopping mall. But it has a Merry Go A Round and a movie theater(first run pop movies), variety of chain stores (Target, Sears, Gottschalks, Penny, Barnes and Nobles, etc,,) The place is pretty popular for locals. Unfortunately, a lot of teenagers hangout here Fri or Sat night which can spell trouble, but the mall has a lot of visible security. read more

This mall has it's ups an downs and has seen it's fair share of businesses come and go. It has a handful of name brand stores and other off brands. Seems that there is still quite a bit of empty space for growing. Hopefully this mall can survive especially with the Paragon Outlets almost complete. read more

The only good thing about this mall is that there's so little of people there that occasionally if something is out of stock at the bigger malls in the Bay Area or elsewhere, they might have it there. Other than that, you'd think such a family oriented mall filled with high schoolers and school kids would have more to offer. The food court seriously needs an upgrade and a bit more variety. The theater is what you pay for which can be a good or bad thing. If you like the price and just want to see a movie it's fine but if you're looking for a full theater experience look elsewhere. What I would give to have a Forever 21 here or a Sephora! We need a book store again. I feel like the whole interior needs to be renovated and updated. A mall here could have so much potential if it had more variety and kept updated. :( read more

I prefer to come to Tracy for shopping instead of my local mall. It feels safer and there is still a Macy's. However, the stores that have inhabited the smaller in mall locations are not very attractive. I wonder how they stay in business? Most of the stores are filled with cheaply made, off name brand items. There aren't alot of chain stores inside this mall. There is Macys, Target and the obligatory women's bath and lingerie shops. Other than that, one shop after the other peddling what is typically also being sold at flea markets on any given Sunday. They do have a Sunday Farmers Market in their parking lot, but it is very small. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, but giving a negative review will do just fine. So, I am a sucker for crane games and whenever I have an opportunity to play I will drop a good amount of cash. I picked a crane game in the food court and the machines wouldn't take my dollar, so I walked over and noticed one coin machine that said tokens for carousel and move over to what I thought was a normal change machine with no sign that says tokens for carousel, The only signage it said was that the machine takes $1 bills. So I proceed and put in my dollar, nothing comes out and then the attendant says "it's $2" and like a normal person thinking hmm, maybe it's a certain amount I have to put it before it changes to quarters and so I put in another dollar and it spits out a damn golden token for the carousel!!! And then the attendant says "sorry, no refunds" WTF?! And then he says there's a regular change machine behind the candy cart... smdh, as though I'm suppose to be okay with the fact that he obviously doesn't care about what happened, the right thing he could've done was stop me at at the beginning or even at $1 and say it was for the carousel! And then he proceeds to tell me to ask a random person if they can change the token back into $2. I was so frustrated and obviously looked like a damn joke that I ended up giving the random person the token! Don't come to this mall and play the arcades unless you want your money to be unfairly taken from you. Good job Tracy Mall, makes sense why your mall is looking more and more like a glorified flea market. read more

Quite possibly the boringest mall in America. Seriously, I can hear crickets chirping at times (overly exaggerated but you get my point). I find it hard to believe that OLD NAVY would close shop inside a mall. Cinnabon closing too? its either the owner went upside down in profits and its a clear indication that this mall is just that boring. anyway, there are some good shopping in here (american eagle, macy's, victoria's secret etc etc) but it is always silent dead inside. i dont know. maybe its just me. read more
