We were stuck on the side of the road on I75. It took the tow truck 1:45 minutes to show up just to say that they they only have two drivers out and can't take my husband and I to the Collition shop where we needed it towed.. and that one of us would need to call an uber. Robert the tow truck driver argued with my husband and said that he hated his job and left us stranded at 11:30 at night. August 28th, 2025 I called AAA for a towing, the driver Dillan was very professional very timely. I had to go home to pick up my kid when he arrived. While I was on my way home the driver called and said that he was their to pick up the car. I said I had to go but can he still take the vehicle. He said no problem and he would tow the vehicle to my requested destination. An hour later the car was still in the parking lot and Dillan did not tow it. When I call him and asked why he stated that his supervisor Justin told him not to tow it because I wasn't there. I asked him why didn't' anyone one call me to inform me. Dillan said that his supervisor Justin said he would. When I spoke to Justin he was nasty, rude, and very uncooperative. He refused to help in anyway canceled my tow with AAA. And when I asked him why didn't he at least call me and inform me of his decision, Justin said that I should have read AAA handbook and hung up the phone. I would not recommend West Town towing to anyone. Beware of the unprofessional, rude, unreliable, and condescending staff. read more

One time was ok saved 10 bucks from other locals but was about 1hr late. The second time they was over 5 hrs late very cool nonchalant and didnt care, missed my sister's birthday and was cold outside and rainy all day. Called and they pushed the time back on me 3 different times. Sad how much people really don't care these day and so easily lie to you. There towing service is great, buy their auto repair service is terrible. There mechanics are most likely not certified I spent $1600 for a used transmission. They warranted for 60 days and their work for 6 months. Took it back the mechanic had a terrible attitude. I had to tow my car somewhere else to get fixed used trasmission was not hooked up correctly so it went out again over time. Totally apologetic awful place. Loss all my business and recommendations. We will see how long it last in this economy. read more

I needed a spare tire put on my vehicle. This Company sent a pretty nice but out of shape guy that spent 6 minutes trying to get the tire off, using MY EQUIPMENT ( car was already on my jack, he used my breaker bar and the rest of my tools that were there) stood up and said "their on too tight" . Charged me 25 bucks to spend 6 minutes giving the bare minimum effort. He obviously felt like he didnt get paid enough to do even a halfway decent job. Youd think theyd come with everything they need to get the job done. Shows how great of a company they are right? They make a part for stripped lugnuts and even locked lugnuts I had the part but the guy didnt even offer to do anything but charge my card lol. IF YOU DONT HAVE MONEY TO WASTE YOU SHOULD PICK FLAT RATE OR ANYONE else. I have the video of the guy spending all of 6minutes and 40 seconds either on his phone or using my breaker bar to halfway get it off , and charging my card. All done in under 10 minutes.​ read more

Used to reccomend this tow service to everyone, as the owner of a repair facility I used them exclusively, then things went to hell, I called for them to tow my jobs and they stole the work, fucked the guys truck even more then I had to have road runner pick it up an bring it to me so I could fix it the right way, then they refused to cover the damages that they did to his truck by hooking the J hooks around the front cv axles, after that I gave them another chance and they fucked up my race car towing it to my house, refused to place it where I wanted it and was rude as hell, ****NOW I use road runner or Itow because rick and Henry are stand up business men, who take pride in their work!! read more

My 2016 Subaru Outback would not start and it was getting dark. I called AAA and they referred me to West Town Towing. The tow driver tried to start the car and said the problem was not the battery and towed it to their facility. The driver's name was Terrance. He was professional and courteous. They called me the next morning to indicate they would check the car. They assured me no work would be done without my approval. Later in the day, I spoke with Justin. He said the car was starting just fine and they believe the problem was caused by a faulty sensor indicating the car was overheated that prevented it from starting. There was no charge for the service. I would highly recommend West Town Towing. read more

I asked the driver to drop the car off at a garage and just leave the key in the car since they were closed. I used the garage before and they were familiar with the car. I was referred to West Town Towing through my AAA Roadside service. The towing staff was responsive, efficient and patient. This was my first experience using a towing service, but the staff made it easy and stress free. I can only assume that towing is not a rewarding business, especially during COVID. However, the guys were thoughtful and respectful towards me and towards the vehicle. I also received a follow-up phone call from their office staff the following day to make sure I was happy with their service. Honestly, I have no complaints. Worst experience ever with a towing company. Not only did the driver make my wife extremely uncomfortable, the tow truck driver insisted that we let him take our vehicle to the west town shop instead of our normal repair shop. The driver's must make a commission on repair jobs that they steal from other shops because this guy was relentless. Terrible towing company. The driver was like a sales person for the company. They were suppose to towed to my normal repair shop but was very convincing about how good their shop is. He made strong reference that they work on our kind of truck all the time. So I took the bate. I got a call the truck is totaled and then the nightmare begin. One of the guys were so rude on the phone. When they couldn't get money off of us they rushed us to get the truck off the property. We called AAA to get the truck towed home and they told AAA we owe them money. I called to get an understanding of why we are just hearing that we owe money and the same person rude and nasty. We went up to the place to handle it and then it was we owed nothing. They said they will tow our truck within 30 minutes. Nope. They took three hours even though they had an AAA service call from earlier that morning. I had to leave for a doctor's appointment and return home to a truck just dropped in the driveway. The truck blocked my entrance to get into my house from the side door. In addition, they didn't return my key to the truck. Never go there!!!! Terrible service all the way around. read more

this is my fourth experience with them. if your an aaa member you are stuck with them. they came on time and the tow to my shop was done (1/4) mile. i had a horrible experience 3rd time with them "breaking a window channel motor by forcing the window down w/o the right tool " in a lock out saying they would fix it. when i got there giving me a 2 hundred dollar bill. (no estimate, no signature, etc. then when i complained the service ad visor person basically called me a crook. handed me over to the owner he basically called me a cheap thief. said my money would not be good enough for him as i went out the door. they have a person call to ask how the service was but when you see them face to face it is scary. if you want to see a ghetto store you found it. the bad thing with aaa you are stuck. the driver was courteous, newer truck. but he had a chicago phone so when he called i thought it was fake. read more
