We had to wait in our 90 degree car and outside the car for over an hour & I felt like passing out because I have cardiac issues with my heart and am very heat intolerant. The boss told us he'd make the driver not work for the rest of the day (except it was 5 PM so the dude was going to get off work anyways). We stopped by the service place which was closed and the driver had left our hazard lights on and had to jimmy the door open to shut them off which probably damaged the door. I really do think the owner needs to fire the dude for being such an idiot, but there's a lot of stupid people in the world. Pros: He arrived eventually. Cons: Unreliable ETA, Told us to literally walk down the highway and try to cross to get to a restaurant to wait for a ride in dangerously hot weather, left the hazard lights on in the car, boss/owner is kind of dumb, and the driver showed little sympathy for our situation. Conclusion: Either abandon your vehicle, walk, die, or pray to whoever you believe in that your car doesn't mess up. I'm really disappointed with the company figuring my health was majorly at risk. I'm finally home, but my head hurts badly and my feet are numb. This could of been avoided, but people don't seem to care about anyone but themselves anymore. On top of that, we had to our of pocket $30-some bucks because Frankenmouth Insurance & OnStar only cover up to 10 miles. That's really stupid.

I called first thing this morning from…read moreLouisiana trying to help my mom, and from the very beginning they were honest, kind, and genuinely eager to help. They went above and beyond what I ever expected. They even had a used tire available as an option to help get my mom back on the road as quickly and affordably as possible. Since I'm in Louisiana and my mom is there, I had originally arranged to have her car taken to a specific mechanic. But along the way, he stopped at a friend's mechanic shop to make sure my mom would be well taken care of and it turned out my mom knew the owner there too! God was surely in the works this morning. Being so far away and trying to help your mom when she's stranded can be stressful, but knowing she was in the hands of honest, caring people meant more to me than they probably realize. I am incredibly grateful for their honesty, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile to help my momma. This wasn't just a tow it was someone genuinely looking out for another person. The police picked this tow company, and I was a nervous wreck after being hit. They wanted me off the highway quickly and didn't give me time to capture pictures. After I got to this tow yard and tried to take pictures of my vehicle, the old man literally slammed the gate in my face. They refused to let me retrieve my work equipment and initially wouldn't allow me to take photos of my vehicle until they were essentially forced to. They showed no compassion or understanding and made an already difficult experience even worse. I hope no one has to deal with having their vehicle towed here.
