Thank you once again for the great service. Brought my Ford Flex (with Michael Jackson decals) in because she was growling (exhaust). They jumped right on it and it was fixed with a oil change in no time. You guys are the best and I thank you read more

I've been coming here for years for repairs on various vehicles and am completely satisfied with their service. Just this week I took my Town & Country in for an intermittent battery light issue. It was after 4:00 pm and they said they would look at it first thing in the morning. By the time I drove home they had called with an estimate, which I okayed. By 8:15 the following morning the work was done! I have never had them try to upsell me, or pressure me to get unneeded service. And the few times I have had issues with a repair they have made it right, usually at no additional cost to me. read more

Muffler Man - From eastbound Davison Rd. - Auto Repair Near Me - Burton, Michigan

See all

I will never recommend muffler man or go there again. They just want to quote prices and then call you and tell you it's more, than you look when you get your vehicle home and check and the shabbiest job I've ever seen. I could've did it myself, but I didn't want to should've because they are rip-offs read more

The old grumpy man at the front desk gave me a death stare for asking for an estimate on the cost of work. "We will tell you after we take everything apart" he says. After I insisted on getting an "estimate" his quote was $150 to change out some brake pads even though I had already purchased the parts. TERRIBLE pricing, and even worse customer service. read more

Same-day service! Fast! Inexpensive, professional, nice guys. If there were issues in the past, they seem to be gone, now. My van is quiet and the brakes work well, now! read more

I haven't been back since they swapped my brand new battery for a lousy used one. I know it was them because it was the only place I had taken my truck. read more

Been coming here since around the early 90's. Great customer service and value. Upfront and honest. They replaced some warn out shocks I bought there many years ago. They even laughed at the original receipt. One guy mentioned he's never seen one like that lol. read more

$50 dollars an inspection for my 2008 Impala and god knows how much on repairs. F*** that, I'll just scrap my car.

I took my truck in for a brake job I knew when I went in it would cost at least $800 which it was, when I went in being an elderly woman I was immediately treated like crap! it was obvious they didn't want to deal with a woman they didn't even ask for my name just took my number and said they'd call me, they never once used my name they never knew it, when I went to pick up my truck another customer mentioned how expensive they were, the guy at the desk said blame the idiots in the White House, I am sooooo sick of Everything being political it doesn't matter to me if someone is republican, Democrat, gay or straight I'm sick of hearing it and will never go back here again, I just wanted my truck fixed not some idiots opinion about something he obviously only guesses about!!!! read more

Let's start with unprofessional, rude, and untruthful! Pay attention because what you see and think is happening is. They are rude and liars. I was told that I put words in the mouth of one of the workers when I simply restated what I was told. He/they will lie to try to force customer(s) into paying for repairs! The paperwork is insufficient or not prepared. They want to pass anything on to customers by word of mouth. If you are paying then you should know what and why the estimated charges. They try to pressure sale. Their method is to rush sale/repair(s) to overcharge customers. Why pay $2,500 for a used part when the price a new part of the same kind is $2,800? I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Terrible customer service! Took my vehicle in to get some warranty work done on the turbocharger. After "fixing" it took it home with no actual fix to the problem. Took it back in and had them do another $2000 worth of work replacing the turbo. Took it home,....still not fixed. Took it to another shop and paid them $150 to tell me all the issues still wrong with it because of the work that Muffler Man did incorrectly. Wouldn't recommend anyone going here. read more

This is a good place to bring your car. I Went to this location for an oil change and brake pads they let me bring my own oil and parts i did not end up getting my pads replaced because i needed rotors and i did not have them. They got my car done for me with enough time for me to wash my car before going to work but before i left i asked the gentleman at the front desk to look at something for me he noticed my hood was not shutting properly so he fixed it for me(for free) now my hood shuts like a dream i will be returning for my brakes and any other repairs they have reasonable prices and there staff are easy to deal with read more

I sent my son to you for work on his Jeep. We have spent over $2600 with you this past month. My son brought his jeep in yesterday and told the young man with the "Tat's" to do a inspection on his Jeep....well when he went to pick up the Jeep the guy that drove it out had no idea that he was supposed to check the frame, etc. Another $250 and now his drivers side signal does not work. Do you not check for things like this. I have been a customer with you for many, many years and this really disappoints me. I tried to call got no answer. I will be calling Monday to get this resolved. Seems to me that, at the end of the day all the T's should be crossed and the I's dotted.... read more

Phenomenal service and a "Can Do" attitude. Nice to see three generations of family running a good business. Telly over on the transmission side does real nice work too. read more

Half work done on a full brake job - Bought my car 2 years ago at that time rotors, calipers and pads were all replaced. Got the squeak on pads, so called to get a $130 price quote for pads all the way around. Received a phone call telling me the rear rotors were shot and it would cost more to replace, gave the ok. Got a 2nd call that driver rear caliper was sticking would cost more than more to replace, gave the ok. Finally got the call to pick up my car. Paid a total of $463 cash. Drove my car back to work to hear the same squeaks that I took it in for originally. Was really angry when I noticed they didn't even bother to touch the front pads. Called and was told my fronts looked fine so nothing was touched up front. Still have squeaking and vibration when I hit the brakes! NOT HAPPY! NO ROTORS GIVEN BACK OR SHOWN! WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER MUFFLER MAN! read more

took my Buick lesabre in Saturday morning, told desk person my car was lurching forward when I accelerated to around 35 mph a couple of days earlier. he said "is it doing it right now ". I said not this morning but it was very noticeable 2 days ago. he said there's nothing we can do if it's not doing it now, it would be a waste of our time. I said I read possible problem could be the spark plugs, clogged fuel injectors, the fuel line, or the fuel pump, couldn't you check those things? he said "no there's nothing we can do, bring it back while you have the problem ". very rude and not helpful at all. very poor service. Dave from burton. I would give them zero stars it that was an option. read more

I WOULD GIVE THEM A NEGITIVE STAR IF I COULD. Cost more to fix my truck when they were done with their fix. Put parts on that were never approved. The young man working on the truck kept yelling this is a piece of S***. Had to get new spark plugs when they were done and a new battery. The truck was in for new headers. After 10 day I still don't have a truck that works better than when I took it in. read more

Been taking my car there for years and recommended my family and friends . They Have never been friendly but now they are flat out rude and disrespectful. They made a mistake I pointed it out and was just wanting it fixed correctly and I got treated with anger. I don't expect gushing apologizes but I don't expect to get anger directed at me for their mistake either. I will not be back. My mom who I recommended to go there has had the same experience recently with the bad attitudes directed at customers. read more
