Incredibly uncomfortable!…read more My dad and I decided to switch up our routine and visit the Regal Turlock location since they had an earlier showing of the movie we wanted to watch (Crime 101). We had bought vouchers online at TicketsatWork for our tickets and snacks. When we presented them at the concession stand, the worker seemed to have never seen them before. She scanned the vouchers and added the items we requested to the system but was having trouble removing the cost of the items. She had to call over another coworker to instruct her on how to do it. Thankfully we arrived early, otherwise we would have likely missed the beginning of the movie because it took quite a while. After the second worker helped us, we were able to upgrade the voucher's small popcorn and drink to a large for only a few dollars. We noticed that this theater does not offer a self-serve butter machine. You have to tell the concessions worker that you want butter on your popcorn and hope that they will do it sufficiently. The theaters themselves are truly awful. I was expecting the seating to be like the other nearby Regal locations but was quickly disappointed. The seats here do not recline and are incredibly tiny. I have been on budget planes with more spacious and comfortable seats than this. They are cramped with no leg room at all. The backs of the chairs are short so if you are tall, your neck will just be flopping around. When the movie ended, they did not even raise the lights. They left the theater pitch black as the credits roll where they usually raise them so people can exit safely. I would say though that I appreciate them having security (although minimal). About a quarter of the way into the movie, a man with a orange cone flashlight came in, stood for a while, and left. I will not be coming back and will keep going to the Modesto location.

We like to come for Monday night mystery movies sometimes and there's always plenty of seating so we can get our usual spots. I prefer this theater to others, staff is friendly and they keep the place clean.

So this theater has an upgraded Dolby digital auditorium #10, and that's just it so far. I think…read morethis was new, since uhhmmm.. 2025? But anyway it is superb and very nice with the recliner seats and heated option for lower back, but yes the Dolby digital sound is great and so is the screen. The recliner seats don't go all the way back compared like other theaters that have reclining options; but hey I think that's a good thing because in an all the way back lounge position you tend to doze off a bit easier. Now, for the other auditoriums non Dolby and still old and with the regular chair seating.. sometimes it's a hit or miss with the quality of the sound being volume and if the lighting from the projector bulb is bright enough to its standard. Because... watched the one movie Primate.. watched that but everything seemed to damn dark and just a tad bit out of focus and just recently watched Ready or Not 2, picture was fine and clear but the sound didn't feel up to its necessary volume at all. And after the movie was done and I walked to the exit, seeing patrons exit from another auditorium of another movie.. it was blasting loud and this is the hallway area near the restrooms on the left side as I was walking to the back exit where I parked my car. Yeah that's my kinda gripe with the existing auditoriums and if it can all be Dolby digital that would be great but that's probably overkill like asking for them all to be imax. But for the least maybe have another or two Dolby digital screens and upgraded speakers for the long run, but much preferred for the time being fix all projectors bulbs and anything else like upgrade the speakers or fix. I feel there isn't enough routine check up and maintenance here and Calibration.

This place is ok. It's the only movie theater in Manteca so the options are nil. The popcorn has…read moregone down in quality since the last time I was here. The service is ok. The screens are still good and the sound quality is still good. They upgraded one of their screens but we haven't tried that one out yet. Maybe when the next marvel movie comes out I'll try it. Overall it's just meh.

The movies ten years ago were getting away with permanent ear damage, but your sound system put me in literal pain. I mean I am 40 but Im not running kids off my lawn with a hose yet... Im pretty sure its you. Please fix this before some one sues you... its obscene

When I arrived, I went to the concession stand but the attendants were not helpful at all. They simply stood there without greeting or assisting customers, and no one informed me that I needed to place my order at the kiosk. It was confusing and unwelcoming. After finally getting into the theater and taking our seats, there was no audio when the movie started. I went out to notify a staff member, but he responded rudely, just saying "OK" and telling me to go back without any reassurance that the problem would be fixed. When I returned, the movie had already started, but there was still no sound. I had to go back a second time, and fortunately, another employee was more helpful. He used his radio to contact someone and assured me that the sound would be restored shortly--which it was when I got back. Unfortunately, the experience was still ruined because the side lights in the theater were left on for the entire movie, washing out the screen and making it difficult to see. It was extremely distracting and frustrating, especially since we were looking forward to watching this film. I hope you'll take this feedback seriously and address these issues with both your staff and management so that future guests don't have a similar experience. I would also appreciate a response about how this will be handled.

One of just a few left. We really like going to the drive in. If you're new to the drive in…read moreexperience, here are a few pro tips. 1st- it's not like being at a regular theatre. You need some accoutrements. 2. Consider bringing lawn chairs and a FM radio. Many times the outside speakers do not work and I haven't figured how to play FM stations through my phone. 3. Bring your bug spray. I spray it on myself and the ground beneath me to keep away mosquitoes and ants. 4. We always bring dinner and snacks. We usually pick up a pizza, Panda Express, or some other fast food. I always bring an ice chest with water and sodas. We still hit the concession stand to help them stay in business. 5. Is the easiest, sit in your car with the radio dialed into the appropriate station. Enjoy the A/C car and enjoy the movie. 6. Beware, drive in theatre bathrooms are usually pretty bad. At least the Madera drive in has soap and paper towels.

Backed the Avalanche up they laid in the bed. Had some pizza and snacks for them. Now here are some things you SHOULD KNOW: bring chairs yes but also bring blankets if you plan on being outside the vehicle, if you have a Bluetooth speaker bring it. Do not be deceived by the speakers hanging if you are outside of your vehicle they are not sufficient. This is a very cool place and even the popcorn is cool. Take the kids and have some fun. Take your lover and relive some "good ol' times" at the drive in!
