I have been to West Point several times for different injuries over the years. The front desk staff is very friendly, they were extremely accommodating to my schedule. I was treated by their occupational therapist Rob for a shoulder injury at work. After two months off physical therapy including stretches, exercises, and tens unit therapy, my shoulder was as good as new. The owner/physical therapist Zeke treated me for a wrist injury, also from work. My man had a hell of a manly beard and was very knowledgeable about the necessary treatments. No more wrist pain today. I've recommended West Point to all of my co-workers for their physical therapy needs. read more

If you go to WPPT see Zeke ONLY not PEDRO! I saw Zeke on 3/18/21 for a consultant. He takes his time, he puts things in a way that you can understand and he offers great suggestions. He's not demeaning. On the other hand Pedro, the person that usually does the consults, which I am so happy that was out that day is rather demeaning, he told me that I was only there for the massages which is only 3 minutes, the pain from my fractured toe which I'm having surgery on was all in my head and I'm only getting more visits because Jeff recommended it. My last appt all he talked about was my toe and I wasn't there for my toe. I was getting so mad. We were going over an overview and I cut it short. I have attended physical therapy at West Point several different times in the last 12 years or so. I had "regular" therapy as well as pool therapy. The staff is great and I have learned a lot from my various therapies as well as getting the help I needed to feel better. You'll get out of it as much as you're willing to put in. read more

I got my referral and called them up to make an appointment, everything was set. I show up and there's a guy in front of me complaining about why they didn't call him to cancel his appointment as the lady that was supposed to see him didn't come in that day well once they finish with him, they immediately start making another appointment for me, then they tell me they can't see me because my referral is missed up. so I called back when I got home to find out what code was missing as I'm going to call my doctor and complain to them, I was told it was missing a location code, I called my doctor's office and they don't know what I'm talking about. the referall is complete and needs no additional code. now I understand someone called in sick and they didn't bother to call anyone, they just had everyone show up and then set up another appointment. don't bother going here, they're not serious about their work and happily lie with a smile. my back has been killing me for 3 months I finally think I'm getting help and I get lied to. I'm never going here again, what a waste of time and gas. read more

My first visit will probably be my last. I was sent here by workmans comp. The person who did my initial evaluation was unprofessional rude and not very easy to work with. I really wish I could give no stars, absolutely worst experience of my life. During my evaluation Pedro Camargo never asked any questions concerning my injury instead placed blame on myself for my work injury. I was belittled and called girl throughout the evaluation. Pedro Camargo repeatedly commented on the fact that I have an attorney and said numerous times I would be fired from my job because I have an attorney. The whole experience was very shocking I left feeling violated and emotional distressed. Pedro Camargo is utterly unscrupulous. read more

The only thing this place see you as is $$$$$. There is nothing about this place that will help you get well. Their service and decorum is poor. Do not expect them to ring you about your appointment for the following day. The physical therapist and assistance do not give you the proper amount of time as you are allotted you were supposed to have, which is 30 minutes. They generally give you 10 minutes and you are out of the room. They do not stand beside you and make sure you are doing the exercises accurately. They are looking at charts on the tables or what's next, (I'm guessing that). Unfortunately they don't try and push you a to do little more. After all, you are there to get stronger, even if it's just a little. Once you've signed the papers for your exercise therapy, and heating, it's a check and you're done. The techs on the other side are friendly. But remember, you do have 15 minutes with a heating pad and 6 minutes with ultrasound and 5 minutes of a back rub. I was called demanding by a physical therapist and he expressed that it made sense why an assistant therapist didn't want to work with me and called me demanding when I went over my time, but he was reevaluating me. They weren't going to give me my 30 mins of heat, ultrasound and back rub. It's my health. I have to fight for it because they evidently aren't doing much for me. I did get the 30 mins, but boy was it frustrating! DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I cannot say enough about West Point Physical Therapy. My initial consult was with Ezequiel. He took the time to learn about me personally, what caused the injury, as well as my short term goal. I suffer from SAS (Stubborn Athlete Syndrome). I suffered an injury while training for a triathlon. Ezequiel understood that my short sighted motivation was getting healthy enough to make my race start. He determined the best Therapist to help me reach my goal was Jeff Lusam. Jeff, himself is an athlete and understood where I was coming from. We jumped right into work, after just 4 sessions with Jeff, I felt healthy enough to start training again. During those sessions he identified a weakness in an endurance athlete that needed to be corrected for my long term future not just the immediate temporary fix. I had a setback during training and Jeff and I went back to work. Jeff is always positive and encouraging. I'm making progress on my long term health and that is do to the staff at West Point. The front desk has always been courteous, professional, and helpful in scheduling future appointments. During my therapy sessions Ezequiel has checked up on my progress as well. Family run business's are usually the best and West Point is no exception. read more

West Point was recommended by our Doctor . Boy were we disappointed ! The staff is extremely rude! My daughter did not progress at all! They gave her exercises to do but didn't explain how to do them. They said they would make sure my daughter didn't go over the number of visits the insurance approved. She ended up going over by 4 visits and we had to pay out of pocket for them.This was also my fault, I should have kept up with them as well, live and learn. As a retired professional myself I found this place to be unprofessional. The person who did my initial evaluation laughed inappropriately several times throughout my session and would often not complete her sentences. The person that actually gave me therapy made some very improper remarks about my age but that I am still "hot". Needless to say I will not be going back there again as it all made me very uncomfortable. I got the general impression that this place does not care about their patients and that there is no appropriate supervision from a supervisor. The office staff does not appear to take their jobs seriously as they are often talking and laughing among themselves. Just more evidence of how unprofessional this place is. read more

I have been in and out of physical therapy for almost 2 decades because of an autoimmune disorder. I have never experienced so much mistreatment, neglect and carelessness from a PT in my life. They do not have the knowledge or skills to rehabilitate anyone. It is a sick, sad, joke. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone that comes here thinking they are getting help. It's nothing short of Abusive. This place is bottom of the barrel at best and a true reflection of Pedro's character. He is the most disgusting human being I have ever had the displeasure of meeting, on every single level. Disgusting. He projects his own self hate and inadequacies onto you. I'm not sure where these "one-starrer's" went, but I don't think it was West Point. I went yesterday (first time) NOT expecting a very good experience (thanks, in part, to the Yelp reviews). I was very surprised at what I found. First, the office is a few hundred yards off of Ave. N. You couldn't ask for an office with better freeway access. There's also plenty of shaded parking (near the front door). The office itself is clean and up-to-date, unlike many of the other offices in the AV that believe linoleum and plum-colored walls are still all the rage. I found the receptionist very friendly, easy to understand, and highly professional. Please don't misinterpret "busy" as "rude". It's refreshing to see a receptionist take her job seriously and do it well. And BONUS: I didn't hear a single conversation about the woes of her personal life during my 20 or so minutes waiting -- a PLAGUE within the AV. [Medical office receptionists take heed: I do not care what rude thing so-and-so posted on Facebook about you]. The highlight of the visit was Rob. It is rare to find a medical professional who is very good at their craft and has a caring bedside manner to go along with it. Seeing him interact with two other patients in the waiting room, this tone was consistent. He seems to genuinely enjoy what he does (again, rare these days). Don't let these other reviews jade you. Give West Point a try. I think you'll be as surprised as I was. read more

I must admit from reading the reviews for West Point I didn't want to even try it... but now that I have been there 2 times I am very impressed. .. from the office staff who take my co payments and helped me set up my appointments in a way that worked with my schedule, to my Rob my therapist, who seems genuinely concerned with my long term success and healing... his assistant who ran the tens machine and heat massage. ... helped limber up my shoulder. ... they even called me afterwards to see how I was doing, checking to see if I had any questions or concerns. ... the road to recovery is long but I am thankful for the help along the way. ... hoping for the best! read more

My wife was referred to WPPTC by her podiatrist. She made her appointment and an older gentleman was assigned to her. He had an attitude that he knew better than her doctor and told her that nothing was wrong with her except she was overweight and the heal spur was nothing. She has been in excruciating pain and the boot the podiatrist put her in to immobilize her foot was helping. The doctor wanted to get her out of the boot and also avoid surgery by strengthening her ankle. She tried to show the therapist her x-ray (for some odd reason he couldn't understand the word X-Ray and kind of ridiculed her) but he said he didn't need it. He knew better. My wife was traumatized by the weight comments and totally not even trying to listen to her. read more

So apparently this company has a direct contract with High Desert Medical group which means you must go here for PT (a monopoly is never a good thing). Their customer service is so bad, and that is even if you can get them on the phone in the first place. I went to West Point for the first time last week and I couldn't be more thankful for doing so. I have been struggling with really bad shoulder pain for months and after visiting several doctors I finally ended up at the right place. I had the pleasure of being treated by Ezequiel, he was super professional and after only 2 sessions my shoulder pain started going away. Ezequiel took the time to answer all of my questions and walked me through all the exercises. From the front desk secretary to the therapist, everybody is extremely friendly and welcoming. After my back surgery, I was assigned West Point as my therapy center. I was impressed from the start. The office staff called me to set up appointments that would work for me. They were professional and made sure my appointments would work for my schedule. We started with water therapy, and moved up,to land therapy. I've never experienced such caring individuals. Tommy and Marilyn are so knowledgeable. They made sure I understood each exercise and their purpose. They monitored my progress and ensured I was doing them correctly. From top to bottom, West Point Physical is top notch. If you're in the market for after surgery care, or recovering from a injury I highly recommend West Point. read more

I am writing this review as a witness to the incident described by the Yelp user "Desert R". I was a patient attending pool therapy at the same time while this incident took place. Please allow me to set the record straight and describe everything that happened... 1. I sit in the waiting room before each visit that I attend at West Point and I have never heard any such 'whispers' or comments being made by others in the waiting room. 2. While I was in the pool the owner did indeed come into the pool area and approached this patient. She politely asked, "I understand that someone wanted to speak with me?" This patient immediately became agitated and started yelling very loudly about someone named Amber being rude. The owner replied by stating that it sounds very unlike Amber to be rude to the patients. The patient did nothing but continue to yell and completely disrupted the pool therapy session. The owner invited her to speak privately with her, but this lady just kept on yelling. At that point, the owner told this lady that if she was unwilling to speak with her or even listen, that she was welcome to continue her treatment somewhere else. The owner then walked out of the pool area, and I'm assuming waited for the patient to come out and speak with her. 3. The things this lady is saying are crazy...my experiences at West Point have always been great! the staff at the reception desk are very professional and always treat me very kindly. I have actually spoken with Amber since all of this happened, and she is very sweet! 4. It's my opinion that she actually makes Palmdale look bad...it's people like her that make the rest of us look bad. to tell you the truth West Point is probably better of not having that crazy lady as a patient! read more

Traveling 3 times per week to the AV for work was not fun, and trying to coordinate treatment in the middle of a working day wasn't easy. I want to highlight how flexible and willing to accommodate my schedule this people was! They really went beyond what I was expecting to facilitate my treatment besides my crazy schedule. They demonstrated a genuine interest in helping me with my rehab and made my life much easier by seeing me on time every session. The place is easy to find, close to the freeway, parking is good; the facility looks modern and clean.
