Today I am completing 8 weeks of Physical Therapy for disc problems in my lower back that are now causing pain in my legs, a chronic problem that I am working to improve. I am so glad I chose Progressive in Palmdale to continue that work! I had good feelings about the place from the beginning. Breanna, in the front office, is very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions about insurance coverage, and is flexible and a real problem-solver with scheduling. She's a gem. Ryan, the Program Director, has been my Physical Therapist and he's a real pro. I have appreciated his expertise and knowledge every week. He will tailor an exercise to my level of pain, is happy to demonstrate, and always asks how I'm progressing each week when we begin to work. He is unfailingly compassionate, professional, and interested in my progress. He cares. I also want to add that all of the staff at Progressive have created an upbeat, can-do atmosphere to work in. Everyone seems to genuinely like each other and offer a friendly smile and helping hand to all clients in the room. We were referred to Progressive after my daughter suffered a hamstring injury during a soccer game. Kenny Gardner was her PT and he was beyond amazing! ALWAYS available to answer questions and help her with recovery tips and home therapies once her therapy was through. He has a soccer background, so he understood exactly what she needed and what was best for her. Everyone in the office (including other patients) were so supportive and gracious and she enjoyed going! I am beyond grateful for Kenny and truly appreciate his dedication and care! read more

My son had a knee surgery after he tore his acl, Laura and Jacob have helped him so much to get to where he is now. Jacob is very friendly and and is a great person to talk too. You can always ask him questions about exercises or problems your having with your injury as he is very educated as well and knows what he's talking about, I'm glad my son got to work with him. read more

I was given a referral from Kaiser to Progressive PT. I called last Thursday at 4:10 pm left a detailed message and today is Monday and have yet to receive a return phone call. I understand the Covid situation but I don't think that's the issue reading all the negative reviews. Called Kaiser to complain and switching to Dynamic Rehab. If you get bad service from the initial contact better to move on in my opinion. I'll keep you posted. read more

I call them because Kaiser refused to pay bill because they did not attach the referral number to the paperwork they submit to Kaiser, not my fault. I call 1:34pm Fri jun 17 2016 ask them to resubmit the bill she gives me another number to call and tells me to take care of it WTF I ask her why can't you? She says "I can't" Their mistake It's their money but I have to solve it. I'll wait a month A few days after contacted the manager by email. I received a phone call from her. because of that I'm changing my one star to three. read more

Apparently this place doesn't like Kaiser referrals. I called and left a message and have yet to get a call back. It's been a week and I have called twice every day. I've lived here in Palmdale for a while to have seen the place get built and wonder if it's any good, it's not. Couldn't even get a call back, that's sad. read more

This is my 2nd time in Physical Therapy. Requested to go back to the same place the girls are all amazing. This place has a wonderful atmosphere and the girls are all wonderful at what they do. My Therapist is Jessica she is brilliant. But all the girls know what they are doing. Wouldn't change this place for another ever. Thank you progressive for an amazing experience. I am an amputee and they all are so helpful, and kind. The girls up front have wonderful smiles every time I go in. Must be cause its a great place to be working in. read more

After dealing with pain for almost a year I decided it was time to seek professional help. Doctors believed I had a pinched nerve in my neck and referred me to Progressive Physical Therapy in Palmdale. The nerve would cause pain and stiffness in my neck. Combined with pain in the shoulder blade, constant tingling and numbness down my arm and into the fingers. Prior to visiting Progressive PT I had not had a good nights rest in as long as I could remember. Pain and discomfort would keep me up every night and I was convinced nothing would help. Day one at Progressive PT I was kindly greeted by therapist Shannon Mies. After assessing my pain and complaint areas we began therapy sessions twice a week for a total of 12 sessions. At first I wasn't feeling much relief but I was determined to stick with the program. Week after week PT Shannon would remain vigilant in my recovery, assessing my pain and making adjustments to my therapy sessions weekly to ensure I was seeing improvements. By the sixth session or so I was starting to feel less constant pain, numbness and tingling. By the 10th or 11th session I was sleeping through the night. The day I went in for my 12th and final session I was pain free. Pain Free!!! I cannot stress enough thanks to the staff at Progressive PT everyone was so kind and helpful though out my visits with them. Trust the process!! We were referred to this place by Kaiser, very unfortunate the experience that I had there. The service overall was very unprofessional and I can't believe Kaiser would associate and recommend this place. I am definitely never going back and I will never recommend this place! I was referred here for PT and was very optimistic based on their website that I checked out prior to my appointment. So I attempt to schedule my appointment and I'm advised by the person on the phone that I must show up in person to have them verify my insurance. Since when?? Every other medical office I've been to always verifies this info over the phone. So, my insurance gets verified and I see a physical therapist and after my session I'm told I have a $100 co pay. Ummmm no I don't. Clearly the women in the front don't know the difference between a copay and a deductible. The deductible situation gets straightened out and I go to schedule my next appointment when someone asked about a restroom. The woman who was assisting me just got up in the middle of our transaction and walked away without warning to show this person where the restroom was, no excuse me, I'll be right back, give me a minute.... nothing. Then on my next session I'm given a physical therapist who is already working with someone else and she made me feel like my presence was a total inconvenience, since she was too busy socializing and having personal conversation with her current client. She assigned me an exercise and left to continue socializing, I'd finish my exercise and was left standing there waiting for her to decide to come back to me. This was done for every exercise I was given. She never stayed to see me do the exercises she assigned, so she didn't even know if I was doing them right, let alone doing them at all. Needless to say that was my last appointment and I did not finish my prescribed treatment there. I would absolutely not recommend this place. Their front office needs to get it together and their physical therapists need to better focus on treating patients properly. Very unprofessional. read more

The physical therapists are great, but the office personnel need a lot more training!! This is the third time they have screwed up my physical therapy authorizations! Trying to give me therapy for my neck, when it's supposed to be for wrists, hands and knees? The owner said it was my problem that they screwed up! One star because I had to read more

I received treatment here for a neck ailment that has afflicted me for years and for the first time in years, I have hope for recovery. My initial assessment was with Chris, and she really listened to me and formulated a solid plan for improvement. As I have progressed through the sessions, I've not only strengthened and gained more range of motion, but I've learned a whole new way of holding myself. I began experiening lasting pain relief about a month in. They work one-on-one with you and stay on you about reprogramming your posture, which is exactly what I needed to have a chance at recovery. Every therapist I've worked with has been great, but I've primarily been with Chris and Martha. They are so kind and knowledgeable. Can't say enough good things! read more
