If I could give a ZERO rating I would! Scheduled the appt in January 2025, confirmed insurance information twice and nothing more was said. Then received over 50 text messages advising me to confirm appt, which I did and to fill out online paperwork which did as well. MORNING of my appt receive a text from another number advising me to call the office as my insurance was not valid, which knew was not true. Actually they are no longer in my network as of Jan 1, 2025 PRIOR TO ME MAKING THE APPT AND RECEIVING THE 50 TEXT MESSAGES confirming everything. When called the office the accounting mgr Kathy I believe was rude and talked over me avoiding why was I not told this information when making the appt. She was very rude and said "it is not our problem to confirm insurance", uhm yes it is! My teenager is now back to the drawing board, I have to pay for another scan at another office and he has SR pictures just months out but will have to deal with teeth issues in the pictures. I did my part to confirm everything and this office did not do theirs. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE! I would never recommend this place ever. read more

My kid is now having trouble biting his food and has an open bite and jaw pain after going to Dr. Jeremy West. He did not have any of these problems prior to this orthodontic treatment. Initially Dr. West told us treatment would take just a little over a year and then kept giving us excuses for why things were not going well and why it was taking so long. Our dentist warned us to switch orthos after seeing how bad the situation had gotten. At this point our the current orthodontist is telling us my son might end up needing jaw surgery to fix his bite. I would not trust your kids mouth to this orthodontist. He spends very little time on each patient and doesn't take concerns seriously. read more

How much does our family love this office? I look everyday at six kids with beautiful smiles that Dr. West helped create! Great staff! Super efficient! My kids received personal care and were treated very well. Even when they lost brackets or failed to comply with their retainers - Dr. West patiently cared for them and always solved the issue without question! Five stars from our family for the past 10 years! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Very unorganized. Schedule multiple appointments at the same time and expect you to wait an hr for your appointment. Won't be coming here any longer. Do not recommend. read more

If you are in need of Orthodontic care I highly recommend this place. Dr. West and his staff are absolutely amazing, so genuine, caring, and professional. They truly care about each of their patients. I was long overdue for braces I am in my 40's and he treated me just as any other. It's hard to make that choice at least for me it was and I am forever grateful I did. I can smile without being ashamed of my teeth now because they look amazing. I also even had my son complete his consultation for his braces and they were so great with him as well. Making it an adventure and an exciting thing for him and putting any of his worries aside. Thank you again for my beautiful smile. read more

Stay away!! This is not the office we signed up with last year. Since the merge with his brother, the office has gone down hill fast. The dental assistants that worked with him last year have mostly quit. They have opened up the office to medi-cal patients and that has changed the office culture. It's very hard to get and appointment and the office wait times are long. The waiting office now smells like weed. read more

Excellent Staff and care! Doctor is amazing and kind to my child. Very clean and I HIGHLY recommend a million times over!!

My complaint isn't so much about their work. It's their lack of ability to answer the phone. I've called multiple times a day to change my child's appointment, left voicemails and no one will get back to me. I live 40 minutes out and now have to travel to the office just to change an appointment. read more

I would like to post about how blessed I am to have met Dr. West. He really did change my life and give me confidence in myself again by changing my biggest insecurity. Before I had gone to dr west. I went to Dr. Pedzolt..after paying my deposit and trusting Pedzolt..he told me he wouldn't be able to put braces on until I had an extensive surgery called an "orthoganathic surgery" where they break your jaw in 2 place and cut out part of your jaw bone in both sides to pull your lower jaw back and then have it wired shut for 6 weeks and also removing a couple teeth. After hearing this I decided to get a second opinion. So I went to dr Hyner. He said "you don't need that surgery, you need bone screws! It's simple! With an $8,000 proposal. I wanted to give up. Hearing great things about Dr. West, I immediately made an appointment and he said "you don't need a surgery, bone screws and you definitely do not need teeth removed." I trusted him and I went for it! Two years of normal metal braces and I have PERFECT teeth. I can't stop smiling and my family can't stop smiling when they look at me. Thank you Dr West for changing my life! read more

West Orthodontics - Top is when I first got the braces put on, bottom is today. - Orthodontists Near Me - Modesto, California

Dr. West and his team have provided amazing service for two of our three children so far, and we wouldn't think of going anywhere else for our third! He worked with us for a year prior to even installing braces on one of our boys to monitor and ensure that IF braces were needed, they were started at the most ideal time! Each visit is met with smiling staff members and positive feedback on proper care. Dr. West always brings a smile to their faces and connects with them during his checks. The culture of the office is fun and engaging with raffles and guessing games. Whenever we need a quick fix it appointment, rubber band or wax refill our problems are solved with a quick phone call! Basically...stellar customer service! read more

AWSOME OFFICE!!! Dr. West and his staff are the Greatest, really they are. I went in with an issue of broken retainer and in no time at all they were taking impressions for a new one for me. Dr. West's personality makes you feel like you are not only his patient but close friend. In a world where everyone is in a rush, it's nice to know that there are Dr's who truly want their patients to have the best care and service possible. I would not only refer Dr. West, I would insist on telling them skip the rest and go to the BEST!!!! read more

Went into West Orthodontics today for a free consultation. I'm so impressed by this place. It's clean, bright, inviting. The staff are quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr. West is excited to share new technology and is not only knowledgeable but very passionate about improving smiles. I'm really looking forward to starting my journey with them next month. Braces here I come. read more

I started taking my 8.5 year old in July to Dr. West. He is extremely polite and very personable. I had gone for consultations elsewhere and just did not feel the same hospitality as I did here when I walked in. His staff is very welcoming and they make you feel like family. I was concerned my daughter was too young to get braces on but after talking to Dr West and hearing the pros and cons I decided to go ahead and have them put on. Never once did I feel pressured to do so, he left it completely up to me to decide. I'm considering having mine put on as well, and I will also be bringing my second child as soon as I'm able to as well!!! Definitely, don't waste your time going to other orthodontists, come to Dr. West! His prices are very reasonable and his facilities are immaculate!!! read more

After reading these other 5 star reviews, I am extremely skeptical. In the almost 2 years I spent going to Dr. West, I would estimate he spent less than 60 minutes total observing my teeth. This office is basically a factory. If you receive personal attention from Dr. West, you are probably in the minority. During the initial consultation, very little time was spent explaining the different options and possible issues of traditional braces or Invisalign. I decided to opt for metal braces which caused some complications. Without going into personal details, I would recommend researching possible reactions to the metal prior to making a decision. Additionally, I had to correct more than one treatment error during my treatment. I was told during the treatments my teeth would be recontoured . When I mentioned this at the end of my treatment, he seemed surprised and reluctantly spent only a few minutes on a tooth or two. Unfortunately, I relied on a referral from my general dentist to Dr. West and I no longer use that dentist as a result of this two year ordeal. Also, coincidentally, my treatment ended at the same time my last installment payment was made. For the $5400 I was charged, I should have received a more professional experience and a better result. If you are an adult in need of orthodontic treatment, I suggest looking elsewhere. read more

I like the text message reminders. And if you send a text, it's read and returned by a real person so it's not just entirely automated. You can contact them and get help for problems, have questions answered, etc. Location is central, and the office is spectacular. read more

My child has been receiving treatment for their braces at this office for sometime now. At first I thought the staff was friendly and efficient, but now that only applies to the doctor and the secretary. The rest of the staff are unfriendly and do not talk with the patients. I've observed this every time I'm there with my child. My child also has felt this way. Also when I have smiled or made eye contact with staff they do not return a smile. The music they play is also unpleasant and unsoothing, it's pop alternative. Maybe they're catering to teens but to an adult and parent it is very annoying! If it were me receiving treatment I would prefer for the technician working on my teeth to make conversation and chat with me. I would not recommend parents or anyone else to have their orthodonture care at this office, if your hoping to be made at ease by the staff. read more

Dr. West is my orthodontist and I have found that every time I go into the office I can feel completely comfortable and not worried. The staff is always sure to greet you and make you feel valued. Once you get moved to a chair by the technician, who is always sure to be very polite, you feel at ease because it's a very pleasant environment. Dr. West is an awesome guy! Very nice and comes across very well, even asking about my dad and how he's doing, which I always appreciate because it makes my experience feel really personal. Most importantly, they do a very good job with my teeth (Invisalign) and I've been very happy with the Invisalign process as well as the office through which I am doing it. DO NOT waste your time anywhere else, there is no need to look elsewhere, because you will love your smile here. read more

Dr. West and his staff are a blessing in my life and I am extremely happy God led me to them. Have you ever felt uncomfortable to do something as simple as smile? Well I did! My front teeth were very high and so it appeared as though I was missing my front teeth. This affected the way I talked and the way I ate. For years I'd never smile with my teeth because I was embarrassed. I was also embarrassed about being a thumb sucker. Little kids and adults would ask me what happened to your teeth? Where are your teeth? Why do you talk like that? Why do you cut your corn off of the cob? Why can't you eat ribs without cutting it off the bone? I did this because my front teeth didn't touch. These questions made me even more self-conscious until the day I decided to make an appointment at Dr. West's office. His name stuck out to me not only because my dentist referred me to him but also because years prior my sister had told me about a Dr. West she saw. She said he was extremely kind hearted and she knew he wasn't in it for the money but he seemed to truly care for the patient. I had made other appointments before and received estimates of the work I needed to have done and they were nice too but never did I ever feel the way I felt in his office. From the moment I walked in I felt the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Not just one or two but all of them. I hesitated on being honest about the thumb sucking but knew he couldn't help me if I didn't tell him everything. The first staff member Katie brought me back into a room and I let her know why I was there and told her everything. She made me feel so safe and secure and unashamed. She let me know they were there not to judge only to help me. A little later Dr. West came in the room and shook my hand to introduce himself and just as nice as Katie was Dr. West was the same. He made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. He never once made me feel uncomfortable or judged. He asked me what would you like to get from your teeth? I told him I don't want to suck my thumb and I want a beautiful smile. He told me if I do my part he can give that to me. So now came the other part I was worried about. How much? His cost was the same if not lower than my other quotes and his quote didn't include surgery. He felt he could give me what I wanted without it. They were so willing to help get the cost down as low as possible and affordable for me. I don't remember all of his words that day but I can tell you he told me he wanted to help give me a beautiful smile. I felt the sincerity of his voice and knew he wasn't there to just collect a check he was there to help me change my life. To him I will forever be grateful. Here I am about a year later and nothing has changed. The staff are all extremely caring and helpful and Dr. West is just as caring and sincere today as he was a year ago. Even the wait time is good. Rarely do I ever have to wait long. The best thing of all is I already have a gorgeous smile and I am not even done yet and no thumb sucking. If you are contemplating on who to choose for your orthodontist Dr. West is the man to see. He does great work and has a great heart. Something that's not easy to find. Thank you all for everything! You will never know how much you've helped change my life by something as simple as a smile. May God bless you all and those who come to see you read more

From our first consultation to getting braces off, West Orthodontics was a great experience! My daughter and I got braces together. I found Dr. West's prices and financial practices very accommodating and fair. He is a good man and very good to his staff. For Team Building, he took them all on a 7 day cruse to Mexico!! I want to work for him! We both enjoyed every visit and if we had any issue it was taken care of right away. His staff is excellent. It is a Happy, upbeat place. Did I mention Dr. West is also down to earth, funny and an excellent orthodontist? Well, he is all those things and more. Keep up the great work! read more

So I don't review a lot of things because I always feel like I need a really profound reason to do so. I felt I needed to share my experience at West Orthodontics though. I am a patient there as well as two of my kids and as odd as it may sound, I actually look forward to my visits. The staff is incredibly friendly and bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable. Dr West is extremely personable, friendly and pretty dang funny as well. The best part about dealing with him is that I feel like he shoots straight with you when it comes to treatment and that you don't end up paying for stuff you don't need. If I were to be super picky, I would say that I haven't been selected yet as "patient of the month," but hey, I still have a year to go so wish me luck! Overall, great experience with West Orthodontics! read more

We LOVE West Orthodontics! My twin daughters have been patients for 4 years and I just started my Invisalign treatment with them. Dr. West is extremely easy to talk to and makes my kids feel so comfortable. They love his high-fives and fist bumps. The office staff is super helpful when it comes to discussing the cost of treatment and their payment plans help out so much, especially when you have more than one kid in braces. They are so well organized and have a ton of patients but still seem to remember each one. Can't say enough good things about this place. read more

West orthodontist is great. The staff is very nice and my daughter is happy and loving her new braces! I would have given 5 stars but I had a billing issue so called the accounting manager and told her that someone made a mistake with my billing. Customer service is very important and that was lacking for me ....so if you don't have to deal with her you will be happy with Dr.west orthodontist read more

West Orthodontics took care of my daughters Orthodontics needs from start to finish. The staff was professional, caring and attentive. They have 3 different locations to choose from which is very convenient. Dr West always took the time to connect with my daughter on a personal level.
