If I could give a ZERO rating I would! Scheduled the appt in January 2025, confirmed insurance information twice and nothing more was said. Then received over 50 text messages advising me to confirm appt, which I did and to fill out online paperwork which did as well. MORNING of my appt receive a text from another number advising me to call the office as my insurance was not valid, which knew was not true. Actually they are no longer in my network as of Jan 1, 2025 PRIOR TO ME MAKING THE APPT AND RECEIVING THE 50 TEXT MESSAGES confirming everything. When called the office the accounting mgr Kathy I believe was rude and talked over me avoiding why was I not told this information when making the appt. She was very rude and said "it is not our problem to confirm insurance", uhm yes it is! My teenager is now back to the drawing board, I have to pay for another scan at another office and he has SR pictures just months out but will have to deal with teeth issues in the pictures. I did my part to confirm everything and this office did not do theirs. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE! I would never recommend this place ever. read more

My kid is now having trouble biting his food and has an open bite and jaw pain after going to Dr. Jeremy West. He did not have any of these problems prior to this orthodontic treatment. Initially Dr. West told us treatment would take just a little over a year and then kept giving us excuses for why things were not going well and why it was taking so long. Our dentist warned us to switch orthos after seeing how bad the situation had gotten. At this point our the current orthodontist is telling us my son might end up needing jaw surgery to fix his bite. I would not trust your kids mouth to this orthodontist. He spends very little time on each patient and doesn't take concerns seriously. read more

How much does our family love this office? I look everyday at six kids with beautiful smiles that Dr. West helped create! Great staff! Super efficient! My kids received personal care and were treated very well. Even when they lost brackets or failed to comply with their retainers - Dr. West patiently cared for them and always solved the issue without question! If you are in need of Orthodontic care I highly recommend this place. Dr. West and his staff are absolutely amazing, so genuine, caring, and professional. They truly care about each of their patients. I was long overdue for braces I am in my 40's and he treated me just as any other. It's hard to make that choice at least for me it was and I am forever grateful I did. I can smile without being ashamed of my teeth now because they look amazing. Stay away!! This is not the office we signed up with last year. Since the merge with his brother, the office has gone down hill fast. The dental assistants that worked with him last year have mostly quit. They have opened up the office to medi-cal patients and that has changed the office culture. It's very hard to get and appointment and the office wait times are long. The waiting office now smells like weed. read more

My complaint isn't so much about their work. It's their lack of ability to answer the phone. I've called multiple times a day to change my child's appointment, left voicemails and no one will get back to me. I would like to post about how blessed I am to have met Dr. West. He really did change my life and give me confidence in myself again by changing my biggest insecurity. Before I had gone to dr west. I went to Dr. Pedzolt..after paying my deposit and trusting Pedzolt..he told me he wouldn't be able to put braces on until I had an extensive surgery called an "orthoganathic surgery" where they break your jaw in 2 place and cut out part of your jaw bone in both sides to pull your lower jaw back and then have it wired shut for 6 weeks and also removing a couple teeth. After hearing this I decided to get a second opinion. So I went to dr Hyner. He said "you don't need that surgery, you need bone screws! It's simple! With an $8,000 proposal. I wanted to give up. Hearing great things about Dr. West, I immediately made an appointment and he said "you don't need a surgery, bone screws and you definitely do not need teeth removed." I trusted him and I went for it! Two years of normal metal braces and I have PERFECT teeth. I can't stop smiling and my family can't stop smiling when they look at me. He worked with us for a year prior to even installing braces on one of our boys to monitor and ensure that IF braces were needed, they were started at the most ideal time! I started taking my 8.5 year old in July to Dr. West. He is extremely polite and very personable. I had gone for consultations elsewhere and just did not feel the same hospitality as I did here when I walked in. His staff is very welcoming and they make you feel like family. I was concerned my daughter was too young to get braces on but after talking to Dr West and hearing the pros and cons I decided to go ahead and have them put on. Never once did I feel pressured to do so, he left it completely up to me to decide. I'm considering having mine put on as well, and I will also be bringing my second child as soon as I'm able to as well!!! After reading these other 5 star reviews, I am extremely skeptical. In the almost 2 years I spent going to Dr. West, I would estimate he spent less than 60 minutes total observing my teeth. This office is basically a factory. If you receive personal attention from Dr. West, you are probably in the minority. During the initial consultation, very little time was spent explaining the different options and possible issues of traditional braces or Invisalign. I decided to opt for metal braces which caused some complications. Without going into personal details, I would recommend researching possible reactions to the metal prior to making a decision. Additionally, I had to correct more than one treatment error during my treatment. I was told during the treatments my teeth would be recontoured . When I mentioned this at the end of my treatment, he seemed surprised and reluctantly spent only a few minutes on a tooth or two. Unfortunately, I relied on a referral from my general dentist to Dr. West and I no longer use that dentist as a result of this two year ordeal. Also, coincidentally, my treatment ended at the same time my last installment payment was made. For the $5400 I was charged, I should have received a more professional experience and a better result. If you are an adult in need of orthodontic treatment, I suggest looking elsewhere. read more

My child has been receiving treatment for their braces at this office for sometime now. At first I thought the staff was friendly and efficient, but now that only applies to the doctor and the secretary. The rest of the staff are unfriendly and do not talk with the patients. I've observed this every time I'm there with my child. My child also has felt this way. Also when I have smiled or made eye contact with staff they do not return a smile. The music they play is also unpleasant and unsoothing, it's pop alternative. Maybe they're catering to teens but to an adult and parent it is very annoying! If it were me receiving treatment I would prefer for the technician working on my teeth to make conversation and chat with me. I would not recommend parents or anyone else to have their orthodonture care at this office, if your hoping to be made at ease by the staff. read more

Dr. West is my orthodontist and I have found that every time I go into the office I can feel completely comfortable and not worried. The staff is always sure to greet you and make you feel valued. Once you get moved to a chair by the technician, who is always sure to be very polite, you feel at ease because it's a very pleasant environment. Dr. West is an awesome guy! Very nice and comes across very well, even asking about my dad and how he's doing, which I always appreciate because it makes my experience feel really personal. Most importantly, they do a very good job with my teeth (Invisalign) and I've been very happy with the Invisalign process as well as the office through which I am doing it. I found Dr. West's prices and financial practices very accommodating and fair. He is a good man and very good to his staff. For Team Building, he took them all on a 7 day cruse to Mexico!! We LOVE West Orthodontics! My twin daughters have been patients for 4 years and I just started my Invisalign treatment with them. Dr. West is extremely easy to talk to and makes my kids feel so comfortable. They love his high-fives and fist bumps. The office staff is super helpful when it comes to discussing the cost of treatment and their payment plans help out so much, especially when you have more than one kid in braces. So I don't review a lot of things because I always feel like I need a really profound reason to do so. I felt I needed to share my experience at West Orthodontics though. I am a patient there as well as two of my kids and as odd as it may sound, I actually look forward to my visits. The staff is incredibly friendly and bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable. Dr West is extremely personable, friendly and pretty dang funny as well. The best part about dealing with him is that I feel like he shoots straight with you when it comes to treatment and that you don't end up paying for stuff you don't need. If I were to be super picky, I would say that I haven't been selected yet as "patient of the month," but hey, I still have a year to go so wish me luck!
