The best orthodontist. Dr. Trosien is amazing Doctor. He is very intelligent and his skills of orthodontic care is phenomenal. I love going to his office. He has great staff members working to support him. As far as I am a patient for last few years. Dr. Trosien's office always has great events for kids. For example, snow ice for summer, Halloween Christmas and Easter for egg hunting. Dr. Trosien always makes patients so happy. I got a dozens of roses when I finish my ugly braces. There's nothing more rewarding then going to someone who knows their craft, and Dr Trosien knows his stuff. I got my daughter in .... And he laid out the plan, I went over cost and they got to work. If anything broke which wasn't often they took care of it in a timely manner. When ever I had questions I got accurate answers. They were very consistent with appointments . Staff were always polite, very gentle with my daughter. She was scared at first, but after the first few appointments getting new bands etc etc, she became a pro, I started dropping her off and waiting in the car. I moved the last year of her having braces so I started commuting about 45min just to see dr Trosien. The facility is always top notch clean, hygiene is so important to me. I also love the lectures they gave my daughter about the importance of flossing and brushing. I Just really want to say thank you guys, this isn't our end I have another child coming you way very soon. That 45 min drive is so worth it, and Im always recommending clients your way. read more

My experience in this office has been beyond frustrating. The office staff and Dr do not have communication with each other. After each visit I am left in the chair not knowing if I'm done or what my next step is. The office tells you they will call you when your trays arrive in 6 weeks, then 6 weeks later they have no idea what trays your talking about and the order was never put in. When speaking to the front desk they say "Dr is out of town and won't be in until next week". If you don't micromanage your care, you will be forgotten about. A cheaper and more convenient route would have been to use an online Invisalign system. read more

Hands down, the best doctor's office I've ever been in! The staff and the Doctor himself are super friendly. They're on top of their game no doubt about that! Their hours are super flexible and workable in busy schedule. Most than frequently they have events or raffles going on for their patients and family. Last but not least, when you are done with treatment they have a group of people waiting with balloons for you in the waiting room to congratulate you! And you are given a free photo shoot with the local photo studio. After they hang your picture in the waiting room it becomes yours to take. read more

My whole family either is or will be a patient here. 4 of us all in braces of some sort, and one to get braces soon when he gets all of his teeth. Me and my husband didn't need them too bad, it was more of a personal choice for slight adjustments. Our two girls needed them badly who didn't even smile with their mouth open because they were insecure about their teeth. So with all of us and our different situations, we practically live there. Constant appointments for the usual bracket repairs, checkups, adjustments, etc. Staff are very kind to be understanding with our needs and questions. It is understandable some appts may run behind, but also sometimes just showing up extra early gets you in and out of there real quick. My girls teeth within weeks started showing significant improvement and boosted their confidence and they finally smile for pictures. Keep in mind, wires gotta come off for dental appointments, so wires get removed, then you go to your dental appointment, then return to ortho to get wires placed back on. Obviously kids will miss some school, so try to schedule wisely. It's a process. Requires patients to have patience. But in the end, should be worth it. Only another handful of years to go. ;) read more

I can't say enough about Dr. Trosien and his staff. In 2014 I started my first treatment with Dr. Trosien's wife, Dr Duong. I would visit Dr. Trosien from time to time when I couldn't make it into his wife's office. A year later I relocated to Tracy and transferred my treatment to his office and it's has been by far the best experience I have encountered. Being that most of my treatment was done by Dr. T that's why I'm leaving the review on his page, Dr. Duong did a phenomenal job as well for the short time I was a patient of hers. From my childhood through high school my smile was always something that I was very self conscious about and felt like it would never change. I remember kids in class leaving for their ortho appointments, getting braces put on/taken off and would be very envious of how their teeth looked. Coming from a family that isn't necessarily comfortable as far as finances I knew as a child we simply couldn't afford for me to get braces. A week after I graduated high school I had my braces put on, it was my second "adult purchase" besides my first car. I was still working a part time job deciding what I wanted to do as far as a career but always had the thought of what my smile looked like in the back of my mind. In the last 5 years I have had many events occur in my life both positive and some negative. I can say that no matter what I felt like Dr. Trosien's office was a safe place. When going to his office I would forget about anything I may have been going through in my personal life. His team and him have always been very supportive to not only myself but every patient that walks through his door. As a child my primary dentist that I had at the time left a scar on my childhood that never went away. I had a very bad experience which led me to avoiding going for routine cleaning, whitening, etc. Years later I finally found a dentist that was very thorough and overall a good experience going to. Dr. Trosien was the one that referred me to that dentist. He gave me the reassurance that it's okay to be nervous or anxious when getting work done after understanding what had happened as a child. I couldn't thank him enough for not only reassuring me everything would be okay, giving me the confidence to smile, understanding needs, working with sometimes a complex schedule, and his team being overall a great experience and very supportive and informative. Make sure your insurance will cover them, we ran into an issue that our insurance apparently doesn't consider them in our network. The staff only verified we had insurance and how much the coverage was, but didn't authorize it through Aetna. We had to do a lot of back and forth with the staff through phone calls and emails as well as Dr Trosien to finally come to an agreement. The one thing we have an issue with is how bad they are following up. We were told several times that we would be contacted and then the time would come and go and we would have to contact them. Other than this issue, we've had a good experience thus far with treatment. read more

If you are looking for a great Orthodontist, look no further! Dr Trosien is awesome! I met Dr Trosien in 2008 when I worked in Tracy. (I had met other orthodontists too in the Tracy area.) From our conversation, I found Dr Trosien to be very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate. I could tell he loved what he does and is very excited about it too! From then, I knew that I would refer all my patients to him because I TRUSTED him and his expertise. So, in addition to referring patients to him, I also referred my dad. My dad need ortho treatment and after speaking with Dr Trosien, I knew my dad would be in great hands! We live in San Jose, so my dad has to drive almost 1.5 hours each way for his visits. I would not have Dad commute all that distance if I did not believe he was in great hands. And, 2.5 years later, Dad is done with his treatment and he looks great! The staff is very friendly, the office atmosphere is fun. Dr Troisien never ceases to amaze me with his continued desire for excellence and to be technologically advanced! Both my wife and I went to Dr. Trosien for treatment and we would recommend him to anyone needing orthodontic care. There's a reason we drove out to Tracy from the Tri-Valley to see Dr. Trosien--he is truly an amazing orthodontist. He communicates well, is personable, very knowledgeable about his specialty, and is meticulous about his work. The office staff is also very professional and pleasant (something that is sadly not the case in many dental and medical offices). The office space itself is very clean and modern. My daughter Micaela loves going to Dr. Trosien. She is 13 and hates dentist and doctors, but, loves the treatment and care that Dr. Trosien and his staff give. I think there secret is they make it fun and exciting for teenagers to be there. I like it because it is easy for me. I work on my Ipad in the lobby while they take her away. When she is finished they come we talk and set up the next appt. So EASY for me as a parent. There limo contest for kids is very cool. My daughter has been coming to Dr Trosiens office for a little over a year now and him and his team have been wonderful! When making the decision to getting her braces we had already seen 3 previous doctors. Two in our own city. We ended up going with Dr. Trosien, even though he is a 40 min drive. He and his staff explained everything to us and made us feel comfortable. The office is decorated nicely and always clean and tidy. The girls at the front desk always greet with a warm smile and do their absolute best to work with your schedule. My daughter has broken several brackets and they have been awesome at squeezing her in ASAP. He gave me exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with how my teeth looked. I always felt comfortable in his chair and his skill speaks for itself. I also loved how you would never leave the office without having him personally be with you and look in your mouth. Other places will have their assistants work on you and sometimes never even look at their work. If I'm paying a particular person for their skill set why would I let someone else work on me?
