TERRIBLE! DO NOT USE FOR ANY REASON This company is an absolute piece of crap. They did our roof in Apopka FL in Jan 2024. First problem, they did not finish the job. They sent someone out THREE different times to finish the work and we still had to do several things ourselves. Second problem, they threw out all the boards which we needed to get paint matched so we could, as I said, finish the work. This cost us an extra $400 to have someone else repaint the trim in a uniform color. Third problem, and our biggest complaint: In May, literally four months after the job was completed and no contact from the company, West Orange Roofing mailed us a "Notice of Intent to Lien" for $300. This is literally 1.3% of the total cost of the roof. They threatened us, with no prior notice, to put a lien on our house for a pittance. Who does that? Greedy scumbags, that's who. We talked to a woman named Brianna in their office who said the total contract price went up by $300 because the workers needed to buy three boards which had not originally been priced in the contract. She said she called us numerous times at a phone number, which she read back to us, and it was incorrect. They didn't try to email us, or mail us an invoice, they called the wrong number and went straight to threatening a lien. I hope everyone at West Orange Roofing who read this review chokes on it. They are absolute garbage human beings. I wish I could use stronger language to describe how terrible they are. Do not get involved with them for any reason. read more

Kim, The day your roof guy came was Monday Oct 28th. He came and reviewed the issue and said he would pass it along to his boss. Next week I heard nothing after multiple calls and emails I finally got a hold of you and you dispatched someone back to come and look at it again. He did not show up on Nov 8th instead he called me to pretty much imply that I was lying about the roof leak and played semantics on my wording of when I noticed the leak. I find the whole interaction from the day I started this claim till now very disingenuous on West Orange Roofing's part. I did not have the other contractor perform any repairs but was merely a second opinion on what the issue could have caused this. Please correct this read more

I called and requested a re-roof estimate. They were quick to take down my information and assign a sales/roof estimator. The person, Billy, missed the original appointment time and called me five minutes after missing it to tell me he was running behind and that he'd be at my place in 45 minutes - how unprofessional. What made it even more unprofessional was that it took him about 1.5 hours to actually show up. Upon showing up, he got his ladder and went up on the roof for some measurements - literally about five minutes up there. Went back to his truck to draft everything up - took about 10 minutes. I gave this company 5 stars for speed and what appeared to be a great job. "Appearances" are deceiving. When my roof was installed 2018, I asked that grates be placed over the vents to prevent critter entry (the original vents were grated) I asked when the new roof was done if the grates were installed and was assured they had been. I gladly paid the bill. Fast forward 2022, squirrels are getting in...why? I contacted another company and found out NOT ONLY were the vents NOT grated they weren't screwed down or sealed properly. The new roofer provided me with the photo evidence and I had them make the corrections. West Orange Roofer was fast but...unfortunately, they didn't do a great job with detais or do everything I asked and the workers lied about doing it. read more

They did a good job in replacing our roof with the following exceptions. They cleaned up the outside area but didn't inform us they left a mess in the attic. Upon leaving the property, they left a pack of shingles in the middle of the driveway. They were notified but never came to remove them. They were very good about working with us through the financial arrangements. read more

Stay away from this company. Very shady. They sent a Bud to my house to do inspection of roof and quote a few missing shingles that needed replaced. He put a ladder against my side of the house, then walked around house to the back yard. Came back, talked with me in person at the base of the ladder and then took it down. Says he didn't see anything wrong on roof. I walked him to the road in front of my house where we could see the three missing shingles from road. After quoting me an absurd amount for three missing shingles, he left and said he would get back to me with a final quote. I go inside and reviewed our security cameras for a Fedex delivery and happen to watch, Bud, the roofing guy instead. Come to find out after watching my security cameras. HE NEVER GOT ON THE ROOF!!!! So I called him and asked him how he got on roof and he flat out lied to me saying he went up the ladder on the side of the house. All while I'm watching the camera, I watched him place the ladder, Walk around back yard and then I approached him as he returned to take down the ladder. I explained I have footage showing he never went up the ladder yet he insisted he did. So I Called and spoke to his Supervisor, Kim. She asked me how I wanted them to handle the situation, tells me they will send out a different guy, so I'm still talking and I hear her talking to the Bud, who was at my house. She set the phone down thinking I'm on hold and I can hear him lie to her saying he got on the roof and her complaining about me and how they have to make money, and commenting about my security cameras don't see the roof. (No they don't see the roof. But I can sure can see that he never went up a ladder from side of my house.) ALL WHILE I'M STILL ON THE PHONE. I hung up and I called back. She then calls me a liar about all I heard, and that she doesn't have to take my comments and that she has to take his word. Will never recommend. read more

We got an estimate to do our roof. Signed the estimate paper and paper to have insurance company pay them. We changed our mind about company that we will not be moving forward with them and they started threatening us. their rep 0DIS said that he's going to tie us up in court till we drop dead. Then Brianna and Kim the office managers said the same thing that you can't go with anyone else and that you will do the roof with them or they're going to tie us up in court they have a whole team of lawyers. And then the owner Bobby called me and said the same thing threatened us. West Orange Roofing to replace my roof in 2011. The work seemed great, but we picked up roof nails for the next year. They also ordered the wrong size skylight so the workers made one to fit from the old one. The flashing is black, but the vents are brown. Bobby said they would be back to paint the skylight, but as if 2019, were still waiting. When it came time to pay, I was asked to make out 2 checks; one to the company, and one to the roofers, which seemed shady. The job came with a 10-yr warranty, which was great. In 2015 we had a bad leak by the chimney which damaged the drywall pretty bad. I called several times before Bobby returned my call. They finally came out to fix the leak. Now it's 2019, and the same leak and stain came back. I called Bobby 2 times, Aug 26 and Aug 28 and as of today, Sept 13, have had no response, even though the roof is still under the 10-yr warranty. Because it is hurricane season we didn't want to have further damage, do we contacted Schick Roofing. They came out the next day and the repairs were done within 2 weeks. There was even a hole in the skylight which we didn't know. So our 10-yr warranty from West Orange Roofing ended up costing $2,500: but its repaired correctly. Needless to say, I would not recommend West Orange Roofing to anyone. Their work ethics, lack of response etc. is totally unacceptable. read more

I had a verbal agreement with Bud, the agent from West Orange Roofing, and the only person I ever spoke with from the company. He would not give a quote in writing or otherwise however he explained to me whatever my insurance company paid for the roof would cover the entire cost of the roof replacement. When I received the insurance $ I immediately reached out to Bud with that amount and we verbally agreed the amount would cover the entire cost of the roof. I proceeded to get a cashiers check and gave it directly to Bud, made out to WOR. When I presented the check to Bud he told me the amount was PAID IN FULL! Over three months later I am now being contacted by WOR and am being told I owe them an additional $2k or a lien will be placed on my home. I was told by Bud, again the only person I ever had any contact with, that my payment covered the entire cost of the roof. Well it's been 2 yrs now and I'm still waiting for the replacement of the siding on our park mo. del that Bobby brother promised to replace due to their fault when throwing the old shingles off or pulling up the packages of the new shingles that put 2 holes in our siding only Bobby just wanted to fill the holes with epoxy and paint over the holes which I was promised new siding and the siding is only 2 sheets and they didn't know how to replace the roof shingles for it leaked worse after they replaced the shingles finally they brought in someone that knew how to fix the problem that was around our air condition but I'm still waiting for the new siding that we were promised. They were expensive also and didn't keep their word except I had to remind them of what they said and promised I would never hire these people ever again so watch out for the smooth talking read more
