They did a great job on replacing a flat roof over an addition to the back of the house, so when it came time to repair the main roof I got an estimate. I believed the estimate to be insanely high for our roof. Had several other companies with good reviews come out. All the other companies were within $100 of each other. Eustis roofing was trying to charge us double what everyone else was. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I get that you think you're the best but you're definitely not worth double. Because Eustis Roofing had one of the best reputations in Lake County, Florida, we hired them to replace the roof on our house in the city of Eustis 8 years ago. The did a good job. However, when we called them back to replace two plastic exhaust vent covers 8 years later, the company had already been purchased by a corporation and they are now ripping off preexisting customers by charging them over $1,000 for returning to fix anything; no matter how small the job is. I tried on a few occasions to give them work. Called for an assessment and estimate for repair. Rep came out,looked and said someone would contact me with scope of work and price. Never happened. I called again,someone was scheduled to come out,notified truck broke down and I would be called to reschedule. Never happened. Storm damage worsened to the point that a whole new roof was needed.(I was only persistent because they came so highly recommended). Never got a call to schedule. That was throughout 2023-2024. Well,new roof obtained in the beginning of January by a responsive company.(NOT Eustis Roofing!) This past Saturday I get a call from Eustis Roofing wanting to know if I needed any roofing work.... I tried to be polite as I stated my poor history with the company and my needs were met by another company. The rep apologized for my negative experience and stated would note it. We were very impressed with their sales man. He was very professional and polite to talk with. He talked a good talk but their service was terrible. They dropped the ball a number of times all the way to bill lung afterwards. They had poor internal and external communications and we kept having to get clarifications and stay on top of them. Many they said they would do did not happen. Their employees were nice and finally the roof looked great, but it was very stressful working with this company. They are slippery in their dealings. You have to stay on top of everything. If you're not watching they win and you lose. We did not feel like they were looking out for us. 1) We were told the installation would take 1/2 days by the salesman so we planned our schedule accordingly for one day, but it took two days. It was disruptive in the second day for our conference calls since we work out of the house. 2) We did not get to inspect the quality and color of the shingles prior to the installation. We were told that the shingles would arrive the day before and we would receive a call telling us what time so we could plan for clearing our driveway. We waited all day and there was no call and no shingles. When we called about it they said everybody was gone for the day, but that most probably the shingles would come in the morning before the workers on the day of the installation. The workers arrived at 8am and started tearing our roof off and the shingles arrived at almost 4pm after the roof had been removed. The shingle color was slightly off, but it was really too late to assess the matter, so we let it go. Hopefully it will not be an issue with our HOA. 3). The pipes and exhaust fixture colors were wrong. The foreman pointed out the problem but he said he would spray paint it the correct color. The next day the workers left with it saying they were done, and half the exhaust fixtures were gray and the other half black. Our roof was sticking out like a sore thumb. We called the project manager and he argued with us saying the fixtures matched the roof and they were refusing to fix it. After a whole afternoon of arguing with the company they finally admitted they orders the wrong color and they fixed it. 4). The project manager didn't show up to post the work permit on our front window until the workers were well into their work, tearing off the roof. We had nosy neighbors outside watching; the kind that will rat on you. 5)When the salesman took our deposit he told us he would send a receipt and he never sent it. We later found out he entered the wrong amount on the transaction and had to clean it up on the back end. 6)The work order we signed was $16,000 but later the company billed us an additional $681 saying that's what was on the estimate. So we had to pay them over $1300 after the work was done to also correct the mistake they made with the deposit. 7)The company was pushing for us to say the job was done before the project manager showed up to do the walk thru. It was several days after the roof was completed and he had not called us to schedule it. When we refused to say it was completed we suddenly got a call from the project manager wanting to schedule it. In the day he was supposed to arrive for the walk thru he didn't show and then rescheduled for 3pm the next day. By 4pm the next day he had not showed up yet. When we called the office he called us explaining why he was late. read more

I had sent in a request for a returned call from someone I was working with previously and had no callback. I then reached out to the same person, via email, letting this person know I had found another company to complete my roof. This person stated she had attempted calling me at 7:45 as I had requested, which I did not request a specific time, and then stated she submitted my information to the office staff to return my call. Poor install. Get your roof inspected every year before workmanship warranty expires(10) years. I can no longer recommend Eustis Roofing. Google reviews may be misleading. Look at the date cycles of all the positive reviews. Look at the locations of the reviewer. Those reviews look a little skeptical. I am not a fan of companies bashing other companies but I am beginning to see they may be true. Eustis Roofing will not show good faith on a improper install on part of my roof. read more

We had an issue with a 4 year old roof that was done by another roofing company. The previous company does not back up their warranty or work, and we were totally uncomfortable using them again for a repair since they failed first time. Eustis Roofing was recommended by a few other people and contractors. We received a quote and detailed information regarding the leak. I called about a possible roof leak, staining the kitchen ceiling in a property for sale. I got a call back from the repair guy saying that he was in the area. In less than an hour from the original call, the repair guy was at the door. He went on the roof, and said that the builder forgot to "turn down" the edges of the roof vent pipe. He hammered down the edges of the pipe, and it was fixed. And then said, "No Charge", smiled, and turned around and walked away. Had an appointment last night that I had to leave work early to be there. No one called or showed. Called today to find out why, the person in the office said they went to my neighbors home instead. Apparently their contractors can't read an address clearly listed on the mailbox, nor do they confirm they are at the right home. I was told she has the same first name as me, as if this was my mistake. I will have other companies come and do a quote. This one apparently needs no business. read more

Do not allow Eustis roofing to use their No Mess dumpster to drive around your house. They put permanent trenches throughout my entire lawn, broke sprinkler lines and then refused to take responsibility as they had verbally agreed. It had been raining and my lawn was saturated but they still drove the dumpster around my yard which was visibly trenching my yard as they drove it. The supervisor stated that they would bring sand to fill in the trenches but never showed back up after receiving payment. They have a clause in their contract that says they are not responsible for damage but they destroyed my lawn with their extreme indifference to damage that they cause and they will lie to you to get the payment. The roof seems ok but it is only a few months old. My lawn looks horrible due to the trenching. read more

In 2014 We had a roof replacement done by Eustis Roofing Company , but in 2018 we started to have issues with black mold starting to cover the roof . When I called Eustis roofing, they came out to soft wash the roof which I did not want, and then read where Certain Teed the supplier of the shingles had a bad batch , which caused the problems of black mold , so I posted a bad review on Yelp , and after talking with Richard at Eustis roofing, they with his help came out tore off the shingles and replaced it with a new roof with a upgrade 50 year product. Eustis, and Richard came through with amazing customer service, in the first review my attempt to get a replacement, was mostly to the manufacturer Certain Teed , but unfortunately words were sent to Eustis as well. In December of 2019 Eustis replaced our roof with Certian Teed paying the bill . Thank you Richard from Eustis for all the hard work you did to make it right . read more

Contacted Eustis Roofing via website with no response. Two weeks later my friend who referred me went in person to their office twice to tell them I am disabled and have water intrusion from hurricane damage. He told them I had settled with insurance and was ready to install. I'm still sitting here THREE months later and they haven't even made a call. One would think they'd at least make a courtesy call but apparently no one there gives a damn. Can't wait till all the hurricane business dries up and they're begging for work. Along with many, I had roof damage from hurricane Irma. I have heard a lot of great things about Eustis roofing and called them out for an estimate. The estimate was right in line with the other estimates that I received but the deciding factor for me in choosing this company was the length of time that they were in business and that all of the people were their employees...not sub contracted. I had to wait almost a year to have my roof replaced, but they came out and temporarily fixed my problems and said to let them know if I needed them again before they could replace my roof. Christina would keep in contact every few months, giving me color selection choices to think about and choose and keeping me advised on my schedule date. When my schedule date came, the crew showed up right on time. Richard the supervisor was AWESOME and his crew were well worth the wait.
