Initially, only 8 U.S. theaters were showing it in 70mm format. And the only such IMAX screen available in Texas is located in Dallas, Texas - at the Webb Chapel theater. To make the film, Coogler utilized two different aspect ratios - the ultra wide 2.76: 1 (Ultra Panavision) and 1:43:1 (IMAX). I think the former is the more rare of the two, and the latter is more standard. Marq-E just has basic IMAX, and I think it is kind of perplexing as to why there are no 70mm screens in Houston or Austin. Even so, I really enjoyed watching the film at Marq-E. The acoustics, seating, atmosphere, vibes and visual presentation were all top notch. I also thought the theater was really clean. The only down side, for me, is I wanted a hot pretzel and none were available. (Haha!) Overall, though, this is a theater I would definitely recommend.

So it's a massive and awesome Plaza - one of many - but it definitely rivals the others as one of the better options for rent, and it's a great Plaza to explore for sure.

It's designed well but probably not for all the large volume of people that comes in and out of this area. I do however like it around here and there is a great boba shop and Vietnamese restaurant here that I like a lot.

Starts from southeast side of mall, they got Panera Bread, Sally Beauty, Marble Slab Creamery, Kublai Khan Mongolian, Lane Bryant, Sport Clips, Nails Club and Bath & Body Works. Hop over the driveway to another building starts with Party City, Payless Shoe Source, Five Below, Famous Footwear, Old Navy, Ross Store, Pet Smart, Northern Tools and K&G Fashion. There are 2 buildings in the front to house Chipotle, Mattress Firm and Visionworks in one and Brew Wings and Verizon Wireless in another. There are few vacancies. I hope they bring more restaurants here. Highway 290 construction is completed and traffic is getting much smoother than ever.

It was amazing to watch it grows. Back in January, I was here to gather information for my February UYE. Then Covid-19 restaurant lockdown started in March. The mall already started renovation project. It was kind of perfect timing while construction going on with businesses closed. The only inconvenience was to those customers going in and out of few restaurants during months of March to May. After restaurants allowed to reopen in late May, construction on the buildings was near completion. In June, store signs were installed. I was here to audit restaurants to share updates on Facebook of which ones open and if pickup, delivery and/or dine-in. Going to one business at a time, every month during the summer. Time consuming but fun to meet newbies to Diho Square. My final audit was in October. I was waiting to see if they are replacing the famous clock tower. I only learned about this imaginary structure from its social media in November. News media already been here with film crews. Yeah. I have to see it in action. Overall, Diho Square has brought many brand name restaurant chains to compete with Bellaire Food Street for another fun place to dine, shop and dessert.
