Aside from the huge anchor Asian grocery store in the middle, the mall is flanked by an assortment of Vietnamese-oriented beauty/cosmetics, nail, phone, apparel, gifts, pho and Asian-centric mom-n-pop stores with a sleepy food court on one end. There are quite a few signs pointing to Massage upstairs. The other prominent anchor tenant is Shabu Zone. Generally, around 50% of the stores were closed. Parking lot is Lone Star state size. Nothing else exciting to write about. Certainly, a coulda, shoulda, woulda experience. Sure you'll like this mall if you want to experience Vietnamese culture.

Few years ago, they finished construction the extension and added some new tenants. This mall is becoming the young people's paradise. There are adding Soju Blues, Dim Sum King and Nomi Nori that will crowd this parking lot every single day. I normally park at Sterling Plaza parking lot and walk over. Here is a quick glance at the mall, at the moment: Suite A - Soju Blues (Opening soon) Suite B1 - Okome Don Suite B - Dim Sum King (Under Construction) Suite C - Qi Ao Salon 奇奥 Suite D - Jasmine Asian Cuisine Suite E - Happy Lemon Suite F - San Dong Noodle House 山東麵館 Suite G - Nomi Nori (Opening soon) Suite H - Street Churros Suite I - R&B Tea Suite J - Honeymee Suite L - Sunright Tea Studio There are a couple more spaces vacant at Suite M and S. If it seems that people are staring at you in this plaza, don't take it personally... they're probably sterling at you rather than staring at you. Featuring H-Mart and so much more, this is one of the largest and most thriving plazas in Chinatown Houston which is one of the most thriving Chinatowns in the western world. It's not quite as intense and packed full of stuff as the massive Dun Huang complex across the street, but it more than holds its own in terms of bakeries, boba, and brilliant noms. Sterling is a wide-open, clean, and new-ish looking really lovely Plaza right across from DH, and seems to get somewhere between 50-75% of the business that DH gets, mostly for H Mart, 7 Leaves and 85 Degree Bakery, plus a lot of other less busy but sometimes even more brilliantr places, especially Mr Wish, which is one of the best boba shops in Texas, and probably the best fruit tea provider in the state. Another wonderful Boba shop here is Modern Tea, and Tea 4 U has some wonderful employees and owners, as well as the wonderful 85 Degree Bakery which is a chain but it's one of the best locations quality wise (if not always service wise), and open late, as well as the very popular 7 Leaves with some great employees and a really cute ice cream shop named Bae, imported from Los Angeles (first location outside Cali), and where a lot of hotties can be found (and coldies, ice cream wise), and some excellent restaurants as well - for example King Flavor and Sinh Sinh. There are 3 distinguished buildings: - 9896 Bellaire is facing the Boulevard and all suites are in alphabets. It starts from the left at Chengdu Taste and ends at Arco - 9888 Bellaire is on the east end with an L shape building. All suites are numeric. Starts at Tian Tian Lu Chuaner (suite 102) and ends at Uyghur Bistro (suite 168). - 9968 Bellaire is on west end as it runs to the end of property. Suites are also numeric starts with Hong Kong Seafood City (suite 100) and ends with Dragon Foot Relax (suite 250B). After my extensive research about Sterling Plaza, there were some connection about precious metals in its name. The first supermarket was called New Golden Supermarket (suite M). A couple hints are Golden Dumpling House (suite A) and Golden Beauty Salon (suite 115). I have to guess Sterling is silver. They compliment in many ways to represent prosperity. I dislike the numbering schematics. Hmart is Suite M. Taste of Chengdu is Suite A. I would never guessed Arco Seafood is Suite K. There's a secret passage behind Uyghur Bistro. This Plaza has a few issues in terms of getting into it, and Bel-Air near here is usually pretty jammed up, but what makes it worth coming is the astounding, excellent array of delights, especially one of the best Boba Shops you'll ever find, with some of the best Vietnamese coffee you'll ever taste. It's called TeaFix. Best owners, great employees, wonderful life-changing made-in-house products and imported Viet heaven. Eck Bakery is also here (what the eck) as well as a Cajun spot, a bar where sexy people go, a coastal Chinese eatery, a popular Viet eatery from the region Hue, and much more. It's well worth the trip to come down here, as it's one of the unheralded plazas in Chinatown, and I've been coming here for years, but didn't really grow a massive appreciation of it until recently when I discovered the wonder of TeaFix.

Established in 2004, this strip mall is consisted of 4 buildings: 6918 Wilcrest - Eck Bakery, CARE Pediatric & Discount Nails. 6938 Wilcrest - Pho Saigon, Wing Kee, Nam Giao, TeaFix & Cajun House. 6958 Wilcrest - Pho Duy 6988 Wilcrest - mainly offices There is a landscape area between 6938 and 6958. I think the fountain needs some TLC because it's very unsightly right now. Nha Trang is a coastal resort city in southern Vietnam known as the Riviera of the South China Sea and capital city of Khánh Hòa Province.

Indeed, Teaholic has some wonderful Vietnamese drinks and a lot of delicious Boba, such as the Strawberry Black Tea which is one of the best of its kind anywhere. And the Strawberry Aloe reminds me of the Aloe Refresher from Fruitealicious in Dallas. Amazing. Bambu, next door, is the very best location of the Viet dessert and drink chain, making some of the best smoothies you'll ever have - especially the Honeydew, the Taro Coconut, the Mocha, and the Berry. But there's a lot more than just Viet stuff here, with amazing Korean Chicken (Lim's) as well as soups and stews and rice stone pot bowls aplenty. Zero Degrees (Cali chain) has a wonderful and popular location here, with their Strawberry Mojito and Strawberry Lime drinks off the charts, and their Cucumber Lime, Viet Coffee, Strawberry Horchata, and more, also stellar. Not a fan of Chili and Mango stuff, but their Mangonada is famous and popular too. And they do split cups (so does Teaholic). Long Coffee, Kravin, a location of the chain Mango Mango, and other spots in this plaza, are also well worth a visit. It's way too busy, probably because some of the businesses that are here. The legendary chain Tiger Sugar of course, as well as another chain, Popfancy with their events and special exciting atmosphere, and Chonging Chicken Pot which everybody loves, and so many more. Don't forget Meet Fresh (a location we didn't enjoy) and Beardpapa's (mixed opinion, our friend works here but we've yet to see her here) and all the rest. There's plenty to explore here and all of it is trendy believe me. Intensely so... and very crowded. Chinatown in Houston is one of the most amazing Chinatown areas in the whole country. The western half of it is more "Vietnamesetown" and then there's also "Koreatown" a few miles north in Spring Branch, although there are some Korean gems here in Chinatown too! The heart of this area is the very lively Dun Huang plaza, although I Dun Huang out there as much as I used to. Ha. Ha. Bellaire Food Street has fast become the alternate heart of the area, and some nights seems busier than Dun Huang, although it's much smaller. The amount of incredible food and spectacular Desserts and Drinks that are in this area are second to none. It's like being in Queens. It does remind me of a more humid and more spaced out Flushing. The nightlife here in Chinatown is some of the best in all of Texas. The other highlight of the area is the Saigon Plaza, about a mile East of Dun Huang. I hope it's never demolished otherwise it'll be (sigh) gone. The best of the best in this area for food, the first 2 are unmissable: Lim's Chicken - the best Korean chicken you'll find anywhere, get the spicy original Xin Jiang - amazing western Chinese bbq, get lamb skewers and enoki mushroom Nguyen Ngo - incredible Banh Mi on croissants Thien Thanh - perfect banh cuon thit nuong - great Viet food Lee's - wonderful Banh Mi, spring rolls, and viet iced coffee Cocina Latina - best pupusas and tamales in town, on Club Creek East Wall - great Chinese meals indeed Fufu - not as stellar as the others, but Chicken Jalapeno is good, open very late The best food in this plaza specifically is Chongqing. I remember when this modern mall started to build. I'd praise the genius who designed Bellaire Food Street. This space used to be 3 old fashioned apartment buildings. Now, a dozen of unique restaurants with a multilevel garage added an upgraded look to Chinatown's landscape. I complied a roster of current occupants. If you are new in town, Viet Hoa Center is the place you want to be. It has everything people love…read more Start from the outskirts of the mall: Beer Club and Jin Korean BBQ to the left. LA Fisherman and Vietnamese herbalist to the right. Fronting the parking lot is Viet Hoa Supermarket. To the right, there are all sorts of Vietnamese snack shops, jewelry store, gift shop and Hot Pot City. Then, you look to the left, there are Six Ping Bakery, Tea Cup Cafe, De Viet Kitchen, dentist, shipping company and assorted insurance offices. Before the end of mall, you'll see Sun's Warehouse Club. Walk further, there are restaurants in a food court like restaurants near public restrooms. Make a right turn, there's a parking lot and few businesses. For some reason, this end of mall is very deserted. On the top of building says Beltway Plaza. Below the sign there's a Confucius statue. I believe both locations are managed by one leasing company. I frequently visit Paradise Water for water refills. Viet Hoa Center is also known for annual Lunar New Year festival - the largest festival of its kind in Houston Chinatown. There are many languages spoken here. Don't be a stranger. Come to taste this Little Saigon District.
