West marine never has the products needed. Customer service is horrible, they don't even greet you nor ask if you need any help.

Needed some stuff to fix our boat and found it here. Good hours on Saturday, open later than other places. Have everything you would need.

The non-fishing apparel - caps, clothes, gloves are usually never on sale even though you can get a little of a discount for being a member. But that's about it, really. You hardly see brands like Columbia, Under Armour or others go on sale. Even when they have the annual tent sales during the Summer in August, hardly see things on sale that much. As for customer service, guess it depends on the days, because we have received mostly great to pretty bad and slow services on different days we have visited this store location in Fife, on occasion. We still shop for our fishing gear here as we like the selection and variety of items for different fishing seasons - Salmon, Steelhead and Trout.

I had an issue just Tuesday and Kim in the shipping department took care of it for Ina timely manner & really showed up for me. Her customer service was top notch!! Thanks Kim for helping me out with my issue and making sure I didn't go this weekend without what I ordered! The value is good if you need extra deals I suggest ordering through Walmart. Don't hate me but it's true!!

They also have camp cookware, fuel canisters, and freeze-dried foods. They also carry solar-powered electronics, battery chargers, and other devices. This place is like a supercenter for outdoor recreational activities. I could spend extra hours in the store, just browsing, and marveling at all the options they have. Some of my favorite items are The Walker's Digital Electronic Earmuffs for indoor shooting protection and the Salty Crew Apex Perforated Long-Sleeve Hooded Sunshirt for style. Although several items are pricey, they do offer memberships and various discounts to reduce the damage to your pockets. I usually frequent this place twice a month, sometimes just for a browse for sales or to find items that I do not currently have on hand that will be very useful in the future. Oh, and I just absolutely love interacting with service reps because they actually love what they do in their job. If you or someone you know enjoys adventurous outdoor activities, there aren't many places that have the quality and quantity that Bass Pro Shop offers.

After repeated poor customer service experiences, I've decided to stop shopping at the Tacoma Bass Pro Shops and will likely take my business elsewhere altogether. At the Tacoma store, asking for help consistently feels like an inconvenience to employees. Checkout interactions have also been cold and dismissive, both in tone and body language. Recently, my wife asked whether she qualified for a military discount. Instead of explaining the requirements, the cashier abruptly asked, "Where's your military ID?" That exchange reflects the way we've been treated there on multiple visits. The one exception to the lack of attention is the credit card pitch. Employees are quick to approach you about signing up as soon as you walk through the door, sometimes so persistently that it feels awkward and intrusive. I wish that same attention went toward helping customers once they're shopping. I had a similar experience at the Cabela's in Lacey while purchasing a firearm. I didn't know I needed to sign in on a touchscreen before approaching the firearms counter. When I went to ask for help, the employee made me feel foolish for not knowing the process. Customers should be treated with basic courtesy whether they're spending $10 or thousands. These repeated interactions have cost Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's my business. I'll be shopping with a competitor.

I shopped FIVE dealerships, told them what I wanted, gave them info on my trade, viewed RVs in the rain, sat and talked for hours. Only ONE salesperson reached back out to me and that's AJ and this Fife dealership. If you're looking for an RV, give him a shout!

If I could give Camping World zero stars, I would…read more This wasn't about being declined for financing--things happen. This was about being lied to, strung along for days, and treated like our time meant absolutely nothing. We came in on Monday, and Betsy was very pleasant. She processed our information and confidently told us we'd be picking up our camper the next day. To say that is too good to be true is an understatement, Betsy was complicit in the delayed information, false expectations and neglect. The following morning, we even received a text telling us to come in and sign paperwork, only to then be told everything had to be pushed back a few days. After multiple text messages and four phone calls before I could finally get anyone on the phone, I was told the finance manager wasn't in, our paperwork simply hadn't been completed yet, and that everything would be finished by Wednesday around noon or 1:00 p.m. We were told to come in, and Betsy would meet us there. When we arrived on Wednesday, Chris, the manager, informed us that our financing had actually been declined on the 28th--the day before we ever stepped foot into Camping World. So while employees were telling us our paperwork was still being worked on, scheduling us to come back, and asking us to wait for the finance manager, they either had no idea what was going on or simply couldn't be bothered to tell us the truth. When I asked what our options were, Chris responded with, "I don't know, I'm not the finance manager." When I explained how frustrating and disappointing this was, he literally shrugged his shoulders and said, "Okay, nothing I can do." That level of customer service from someone calling themselves a manager is unacceptable. No apology. No accountability. No attempt to help. Just complete indifference after wasting several days of our time. It amazes me that Corporate would be ok with this mentality, not even including the excessive amount of bad reviews. Thankfully, we left and went to Tacoma RV Center. The difference was night and day. Their staff treated us like customers instead of inconveniences. They got everything approved and completed within a couple of hours. Even more impressive, when they learned we were hoping to have a camper for the Fourth of July weekend, they rearranged their delivery schedule and moved our walkthrough and delivery date up so we wouldn't miss out on our holiday plans. That's what real customer service looks like. Camping World lost a sale because of poor communication, disorganization, and management that couldn't care less. Tacoma RV Center earned our business because they actually value their customers and were willing to go the extra mile. Save yourself the frustration. Skip Camping World and go Tacoma RV Center. Just down the road and turn right (I think)

I'm very picky and think it's hard to find a talented machinist and artist that happens to do gunsmithing. I didn't want to endure a gunsmith who tries to be a competent machinist and artist. Liam is the former and knocked it out of the park. I'm an actual customer and NOT getting anything in exchange for my glowing review. It's honest and heartfelt. Liam's friendliness, skills and tools are only exceeded by his honesty, competence, experience, and desire to provide excellent customer service. He patiently listened to my nerdy questions and made excellent suggestions for high-payoff improvements done in a cost-effective manner. Liam is responsive and provides great value for your investment. His pricing is fair. He came in under his estimated cost and finished earlier than promised. I was impressed.
