We had a great view of the bridge at night, and with the water so calm, you could see the reflection mirrored in the water. Food options nearby: 1) 7 Seas Brewery with restaurant 3uilt inside 2) Forum (link train to theatre district) 3) The Swiss - bar/pub food Heads up: you're near the train tracks, so you'll hear trains going by or as hubs likes to say "fake train noises".

I got a…read morebirthday gift for my SO to go on a 2 people 1,000 ft high parasail trip in the Puget Sound (we did it in Tacoma, but they also have another branch in Kirkland as well) and we couldn't be happier with this gift choice! We were super lucky as the day we went it was super sunny, allowing us to see a super clear view of Mt. Rainier from up and above! :)))) Out from the get go, Pacific Parasail was super responsive to our inquiry and booking. They were very accommodating to our requested day/time (because we called to book before the summer, they even offered the option of coming in early on before the season was supposed to open, since they happened to open early this year, too). When the weather turned bad (e.g. not their fault!), they called well ahead of time that the weather wouldn't be conducive to the activity and offered to reschedule. On the day of the activity, we also received confirmation text on details about time/place to meet and what to wear, too. The staff (both on the boat and at check in) were super polite and nice (despite the fact that we used Groupon deal as well). The trip itself takes about an hour. You get on a jet boat with 6-8 people and go out in the water for about an hour...then take turn to go on parasail for 10-15 min long...super awesome! As a bonus, our The gentlemen on our boat provided clear instruction on what we needed to know/do. We felt super safe (mind you, I have quite some fear of height)..and really enjoyed our unique activity --parasailing for the first time! If you had a chance, definitely check this activity out. Great for a date (with someone you know quite a bit), activities with your family (kids are fine, too!) or just something adventurous/scenic to enjoy the nature/view of PNW! Also, book ahead of time! They seem to get busy, especially in the summer when the weather is nice out there!

The crew and captain were awesome, they were full of very helpful knowledge about the different dive sites, currents, drifts and sealife. They really know how to take care of their customers. They help divers on and off with their gear and have a varitey of food and snacks available for free to the divers. One of my favorite parts was that they had hot chicken noodle soup ready for us after the second dive which really helped warm us up and prepare for a cold night dive. Bandito gets an A+ in my book, err 5 stars I guess.

Love it here! My husband was starting to take my kids fishing, so I needed to get them in lessons…read moreright then. My point is the YMCA is hard to get into,and they a schedule. Didn't fit my needs for right then. Emler also did a swim drill where the kids got in a raft. The raft was flipped over, and the kids needed to get out. It was perfect for what I needed! They have 3 or 4 students/class depending on the level; often times (b/c of schedule changes), my kid has 1 on 1 instruction. Love it here!

Twice this season they have rapidly responded, done the trouble shooting, gotten me scheduled, fixed the problem, and gotten me back to boating.....all unforecast, and in the middle of the busiest time of the year! Pretty impressive, especially considering that I'm not their money maker! This year they saved my big fishing trip with only 5 days notice! I'd spun my flexible coupling. :-( they diagnosed it, pulled the boat out of the water, pulled the motor, ordered and replaced the part, put it back together, and back in the water, all in 5 days. I wouldn't have gotten there without them. Darrin is always the first guy I call when I have a boat issue! Thanks guys!!!

Terrible experience. Worked with a guy named Darren who was consistently rude. The work took months…read morelonger (and significantly more money) than he quoted us, and our boat came back in worse shape than when we took it in. Darren was inpatient when answering our questions and acted too self-important to be helpful. The marina is out of the way and their hours are inconvenient. I couldn't have been more displeased with my experience.
