Memorable picture of Mt Rainier from afar.

Enjoyable and interesting!! Captain Ethan gives a great 2-hour tour of Peugeot Sound. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the area and his passion is obvious. He is extremely attentive to his touring guests and frequently asks individual groups if there are any questions. He is a very kind man, making a special trip to a dock to pick up my 2 friends and myself because I went to the wrong dock in error...he even returned us to the dock we boarded on. So much fun sailing across the water with the wind blowing in my hair!!! Jeanine Martin

Wonderful tour of the area. Our Captain was very knowledgeable and was easy to hear. The boat was very comfortable and we could see in all directions. A definite must for anyone who would like to see the Sound from the water side and learn some great information!

We loved this tour. We were going to kayak but when we found out that a harbor tour will be going out at 4pm. It was in 20 minuets so we decided to go for it. I have several family members that live in Gig Harbor but none of them have been on this tour. There were only 10 of us going on this tour so there was plenty of room. Also it was a perfect sunny day. We had a wonderful time. It was very informative and fun. After telling my family members what a great time we had, now they all want to go on this tour. Don't forget to check in because you save $3 per person in your party.

Great boat tour through the harbor. Our guide ethan was enthusiastic and gave a great detailed history of the bridge, early settlement, and property in the area. The tour took around 2 hours and we were able to see some seals and bald eagles. Ethan triple checked throughout the tour to make sure we were warm and comfortable enough. Would recommend if you're looking for something fun to do in the area !

Amazing Amazing & Amazing!! We had an enjoyable time on our cruise tonight. The tour guide was very professional & knowledgeable. We did see some amazing wildlife. We witnessed 3+ ORCA WHALES! You read that right orca whales!! There was abundant of seals, bald eagle, blue herons and sea lions. Would do this tour again. Thank you!

We spent a beautiful day on the boat with a great guide (the owner). We were happy to see lots of harbor seals and even an eagle in the distance. Very clean, very relaxing tour of the Puget Sound.

The tour guide/boat driver (not sure what his title is) was fantastic! He was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Wanted to do something special for the 4th given that my significantly better half's family were in town for the holiday weekend. Capt. Tom was very thorough and helpful when explaining what to expect--we have someone in a wheel chair in our party, and the crew (and the other patrons) were very accommodating of her as she took a little extra time to get on and off the boat. Even this wasn't billed as a harbor tour, Capt. Tom still taught us a lot about the sights we were seeing as we made our way to Quartermaster Harbor. The fireworks show was not only one of the best I have ever seen, but watching from a boat on the water was something that can't be beat either. The pictures nor the 5 star rating do not do this experience justice--this was one of the best 4th of Julys we are planning to ever have--and we're perfectly content if nothing caps this experience.

Great day out with the family! Would recommend to Gig Harbor natives and out of towners. Loved hearing about all of the history and enjoyed the beautiful scenes.

Don't need to worry about doing something wrong as they give very clear instructions. Everything went perfect because the hosts are so organized and thorough in their communications. We did the all day sail including a very tasty lunch about which the host consulted with me in advance. You don't need to bring a thing but your personal items as they have beverages, wraps if it gets chilly or anything you might need. Four of the six of us are 80+ and we were able to manage fine maneuvering on, off and around the boat including using the "head". Each experience depends on the tides, wind, currents, weather and other boat traffic, which makes each day unique and they explain about how these relate to the sea life you see and your itinerary. Because we had a beautiful sunny day Mt Rainier was present during much of the cruise giving us spectacular photo ops. I can't recommend Hobbes sailing highly enough....

That's when we found Cruise Hobbes. I never thought we would be able to charter a sailboat with a crew for any length of time, but Cruise Hobbes's rates were extremely reasonable! On the appointed day, we met First Mate Karen and Captain Frank at the dock in Gig Harbor and after a quick briefing we were soon underway. In our correspondence, Karen found out that we had to forgo Hawaii. As soon as we stepped foot on deck, we were given leis, which was such a sweet, thoughtful touch! Before our sail, Karen asked us about any food allergies, requests, etc. Our snacks and lunch were delicious and in keeping with the Hawaiian theme. It was a BEAUTIFUL day for a sail. Plus, Frank and Karen are easy-going and a pleasure to spend time with. I highly, highly recommend chartering a trip with them. The sailboat is extremely comfortable. Everything is taken care of for you and customized to your tastes, and Karen and Frank are fantastic.

From the very first day of working with him to plan and organize our trip of a lifetime, we felt we were in great hands. Phil's fantastic first-hand knowledge of the camps allowed him to create a trip that far surpassed the typical group package deals. Phil meticulously plans every detail of the trip, from the best places to stay to recover from jet lag before the safari, to every transfer. You are never left wondering where to go or if someone will be there to meet you. The camps he chooses are small and personal, where you are taken care of and treated like family. The safari experience is second to none, with personal drivers and guides who are excellent, highly skilled, and knowledgeable. We didn't know anything about going on safari, and Phil build a custom trip that catered to exactly our personal travel style of going to some of the more off-the-beaten-path places with fewer tourists, but still lots of amazing experiences (we watched a family of elephants chase off a pair of male lions!). Everyone we met was on their 4th or 10th safari and when they found out we'd never been before, they'd always ask, "So how did you even find this place?" Also I had no idea you could have a vacation with this much adventure and yet zero stress. Having Phil take care of everything and getting it all arranged for and paid in advance took a HUGE load off of us, which was so great as we both have jobs where we typically do a lot of planning and project management. By taking care of that, Phil let us go on an exciting vacation where we actually got to RELAX. We took literally THOUSANDS of amazing photos, but here are just a couple fun ones I shot with my phone.
