The best part of this place is when you break your strings, you can bring your racket in and it's like walking into Baskin-Robbins 31 flavors. They've got so many different types of strings to choose from, some hybrid string packages too (I never knew they existed) and all and they've got four restringing machines ready to go. On my most recent visit needing to change out my strings, the Brazilian gentleman helped me pick out the exact type of string for my type of playing style. Not only has it improved my game, i'm actually looking forward to breaking my strings again so I can try some of their other many hybrid string packages that are available. Their prices are very competitive when it comes to rackets (compared to Amazon) and they always have some sales on the latest tennis shoes. Forget about the store in Aventura or even Dicks. There's no other place around that can service your tennis needs.

Finally, today, we made time to go to Runner's Depot at the Aventura Mall. When we arrived, the place was packed with customers trying on Hoka and New Balance and Ascics. All the salesmen were busy. We waited for a while patiently, and then Rafael came up to us and asked if he could help us. By then, my daughter decided to get a couple of pairs for herself also. Rafael explained the Fitting Process to try on the shoes, and we had to stand on the Foot Disc to measure our arches. He then knew what type of shoe would be best for us. He brought out several styles. The best style for her was the Hoka Bondi, and for me, the Hoka Gaviota 5. Rafael is an expert fitter. We were so glad that he was helping us both to find the right shoes for our travels and the walking that is entailed. He was patient and understanding. I highly recommend that you ask for him if you visit this store. The store is nicely organized, and they have a good selection. They also sell athletic wear, socks, caps, sandals, shirts, and runner gear. If they are out of stock of the shoe you want, they will order it and have it sent to your home. But first, they will fit you to make sure that the shoe is the right size and fit. I really like that they do this for the customer. I ordered 2 extra colors that will be shipped to me and walked out with the ones I tried on. My daughter did the same. They will arrive in 5-7 days. I felt like I was walking on a cloud, seriously. You will spend some money for quality, but to get rid of foot pain, it is worth it! Runner's Depot is located at the Aventura Mall inside the mall by Macy's on the second floor. You can reach it by escalator or elevator. Park by Macy's where the Women's clothing is, go thru Macy's to the second escalator, and it will take you to the second floor, then head months inside mall.

Because of my bike geometry, I called beforehand simply asking if I can come in for an opinion on where I should install an attachment on my bicycle. I just wanted an expert opinion and I wanted to test this stores customer service, in case I decide to return; never, even if you paid me. I get the approval and I'm on my merry way. As soon as I arrive, I am not greeted by this owner, instead, I had to explain again that I need to install the plastic piece that holds a lock in place, so that you can ride your bike without having to carry your lock around. He says "my mechanic can do it for you, $10". As a reminder, I called beforehand for an opinion on a simple item that anyone can install and this is not what drove me to write this review. This owner, Sam, knowing that my Carbon Fiber bike cannot and should not have any clamps with pressure on the bike. So, his employee finally had to speak up to give me the information and opinion I asked for, after asking several times, which was to not install this on the bike. You wanted to make $10 only to have one of your locals destroy their bike and maybe even injure themselves because of your less-than-moral business practices. I have no other words other than to strongly recommend you take your business to Willie's on 79th or Miami Bicycles on 125th. Sam P., It's time to give up the keys to someone who truly cares and knows what it means to own a real bike shop.
