She told me I needed a root canal and a…read morecrown, but because her office does not perform root canals, she referred me to an endodontics clinic. I called that clinic and scheduled an appointment for the next day, but later learned they did not accept my insurance and that the procedure would cost $2,000 out of pocket. I told them I would try to find another endodontist who accepted my insurance and would get back to them. I then called Metropolitan Endodontics and asked whether they accepted BCBS. I was told they did, but that I would need to pay the full $2,500 upfront and would be reimbursed after insurance paid them. Based on that information, I scheduled an appointment for a few days later and canceled my appointment with the first clinic. I had the procedure done at Metropolitan Endodontics, and they did a great job. I paid in full using the Cherry plan, which covered the full amount upfront with no interest for one year. I expected this would give me time to receive the insurance reimbursement and then pay my portion later. I was surprised when my insurance company sent me a notification stating that Metropolitan Endodontics was out of network and had paid only $251.74. When I called Metropolitan Endodontics, I was initially told that I had not been told they accepted my insurance and that my bill was already paid in full. I explained that Cherry had paid the bill because I was told full payment was required, and I reiterated that I had been told they accepted my insurance. The representative put me on hold to review the recorded call and then confirmed that I had been told they accepted my insurance. She said someone from accounting would call me back after speaking with my insurance company, but I never received a call. I tried calling again, reached voicemail, and still did not receive a response. At minimum, I believe they should have charged me the $2,000 that the first clinic would have charged for the same procedure. Don't bother doing business with a company that can't deal with you honestly up front. I would not have gone there had I known. They couldn't even treat me with respect and call me back. Cheryl C

They have a washing and sanitizing station when you arrive, a questionnaire, temperature check, and a plexiglass partition for the receptionist. Both the Doctor and Hygienist wore masks. I found the office to be gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. Fashioned after a Whistler lodge, it is woodsy, clean, and totally unique. I could have hung out there all day. Most importantly, the work that they did on my teeth was exceptional. They took the time to get to know my teeth a bit (I am not a regular patient), communicated with me about what needed to be done, and were efficient in fixing the problem. Dr. Bosworth is fun, funny, and a passionate dentist, and I'm happy to have found him.

When having work done, they create an estimate of what insurance should pay and what you will owe, and when the work is done, they ask for payment that day on your share. This is all explained when you schedule the appointment, so shouldn't be a surprise. The couple of times we have overpaid, we were refunded the difference. I think their practices are fair since I was well informed.

This office is convenient to my home. Making an appointment was easy. The waiting room was very cozy and welcoming. I visited for a regular cleaning and it was the most comfortable visit of my life. I didn't know it was possible to not be clenched an entire visit at the dentist. I had a great conversation with both the hygienist and the dentist and appreciated that they had such fantastic bedside manner. I felt cared for and appreciated versus like I was going to be scolded at the dentist which made this the most enjoyable experience ever.

Dr. Harvieux and I met for the first time today, but he was wonderful at walking me though each stage and calming me down. He knew id talked about a previous experience when I was young around fear of root canals and not having enough numbing, so he ensured to put even extra- it was so well thought out.
