But when I came back to go a bit lighter and have my root touched up. I originally only had Lara doing my hair but then another stylist named Devon came to help her with it. I explained what I wanted again and they started my hair. they foiled my entire head which was already alarming since I had only asked to brighten it up a bit and touch up my root. But instead of lightening up she made me brown with blonde highlights and a money piece. I was already blonde and I did not ask for brown, I am distraught and it has ruined the way i view hair salons. I also asked for a small trim, Devon took 3 inches off my hair including layers I did not ask for. We paid $400 for this service just for It to turn out being the exact opposite of what I asked for. If you value being heard and listened to when it comes to what is going on when it comes to your hair, I would not go here, or at least let Devon and Lara touch your hair.

A few days later, I received an email that the appointment had been cancelled by the salon. On June 13, I received a text asking me to confirm. Confused, I called reception. I was told that the machine accidentally made an appointment for me on June 6, and that the staff had cancelled that one (because it was an error), and that's why I got a cancellation email. She said the machine makes mistakes often, and that I definitely wouldn't be charged for an appointment I was told was cancelled. An hour later, I received an angry voicemail from the manager, Sharon, saying that even though they had "accidentally made an appointment for me on June 6th" (her words verbatim) and then cancelled it, sending me with a cancellation email, I would be charged due to their cancellation policy. I called back and explained the situation to the receptionist, who agreed that it was ridiculous to charge me for a machine mistake. Of course I was aware of the cancellation policy, being a loyal customer. She said Sharon would call me back. She did not. I have disputed the charge. Petty and disappointing. Will definitely not be returning or recommending to others.

She was right on time (I needed more time to drink my wine!) I have very thin hair that I actively work to keep from falling out. Tara gave me a great cut that looks good on me and works for my hair type. I can't say how hard it can be to find someone who understands thin hair but Tara did. I get the impression that she likes to keep up on all sorts of continuing education and likely has a good hand on lots of hairs. For you curly haired girls, she has naturally curly hair so she probably understands curly hair too! So, after my great cut she didn't have a product I was looking to purchase. So, she immediately said she would order it and still honor the new client 20% off. She did NOT recommend a ton of expensive products that don't work on thin hair as soon many stylists do.
