They had a great pickle-to-breading ratio, so they were both crispy and still had plenty of pickle flavor. I ordered the steamed shrimp, which was good, but nothing that really stood out. My mom got the buffalo shrimp, and we both felt the same way--it was tasty, but not especially memorable. We also shared an order of fries, and those were excellent with a perfectly crispy texture. Fairly big venue with plenty of seating inside and and outside as well. The long fully stocked outdoor bar in the back is flanked by the Range. Typical Florida weather, its much cooler inside with the AC than outside. We came here to grab a bite to eat and hit the driving range for a bit, however we never got around to the driving range. #TavernGrub: ~ STARTERS: DELUXE NACHOS - 2/5 Massive plate of Nachos that were OK. There were a lot of chips on the plate. It definitely needed more toppings and they skimped on the Ground Beef. ~ 6 PIECE WINGS w Nashville Hot Sauce - 3/5 Your standard Chicken wings with "Nashville Hot Sauce." The Wings were OK, the sauce wasn't spicy, it had a warm mouthfeel and didn't linger. ~ BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA - 4/5 We were impressed by the pizza. This was similar to a NYC thin crust. Good flavor with an excellent crust. They could have added more chicken. We found the food to be OK, nothing outstanding, just your standard Bar food, some good and some not so good. I'd sit inside next time.
