5 Stars | Exceptional Service from Thomas!…read more I cannot say enough great things about Thomas from All-City Plumbing! Don't let his youthful appearance fool you, this young man REALLY knows his stuff! His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were impressive from start to finish. Thomas took the time to explain everything thoroughly, walking us through the entire process and actually showing us what he was doing along the way. What stood out to me the most, however, was his patience and kindness toward my mother. My mom is older, so I was there to help catch all the technical explanations and break things down for her. But Thomas went above and beyond! He took his time, never made her feel rushed or confused, and explained everything in a way that she could comfortably understand. He spoke to her with such kindness and respect, and that meant more to me than he probably realizes. It's one thing to be knowledgeable in your profession, but it's another to have the patience, compassion, and people skills to match. Thomas has ALL of those qualities! All-City Plumbing has definitely earned our trust and future business. We will absolutely be using this company again, and you better believe we'll be requesting Thomas by name! Thank you, Thomas, for not only doing your job well but for treating your customers like people who genuinely matter. That kind of service deserves recognition!

He explained everything clearly and patiently, making sure I understood what the problem was and what my options were. I also really appreciated that he explained the cost upfront and let me know about things I wasn't aware of before starting the work. There were no surprises, and I felt comfortable knowing exactly what was being done and how much it would cost. Johnny was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also very kind and easy to talk to. He answered all of my questions and made sure I understood everything. I'm very thankful for his help and the way he treated me with kindness and respect. I would definitely recommend Johnny and All City Plumbing & Air to anyone who needs plumbing or air conditioning service. That has never been my experience with Total 1. What really sets them apart is their honesty and attention to detail. Instead of "firing the parts cannon" or condemning a perfectly serviceable unit just to make a bigger sale, they focus on finding the actual issue and fixing what truly needs to be fixed. That approach has saved me money and given me confidence that I'm getting straightforward, professional advice. Every interaction I've had with Total 1 has been positive -- they're knowledgeable, respectful of your time, and clearly care about doing the job right. It's refreshing to work with a company that prioritizes long‑term customer relationships over quick upsells. In my experience they have always been a great value. If you're looking for a contractor you can trust -- one that won't pressure you into unnecessary replacements and will take the time to explain what's really going on -- I highly recommend Total 1. I saw all the amazing 5 star reviews for True Blue and noticed a common theme. Honest, fair, professional, informative, nice, competitive pricing. All 100+ very positive reviews and not a single negative review. As we all know, that's essentially nonexistent when dealing with the public in any capacity, particularly when it comes to the HVAC service industry. I gave them a call to schedule an estimate. Lisa answered and was amazing with accommodating my schedule and with all subsequent correspondence. Shane came out a couple days later, educated me on the new systems, patiently answered all my questions and took his time explaining in detail my options (I ended up going with the Bosch/heat pump. Quietest compressor I've ever witnessed). Shane sent over a quote that was less than another quote I had received and with many more upgraded options including a $2K federal tax credit. Much more overall value for my money. Shane's crew (Kevin, Rudy & Brandon) came out on the scheduled date and time and handled business to perfection. Removed my old stuff, installed the new equipment and made sure everything was working flawlessly before leaving that same day. The enter process was seamless. Like so many others, I can't recommend Shane and True Blue Heating & Air Conditioning enough for anyone looking to replace their HVAC system. There aren't many small, family owned businesses like this one any more.

I am sharing this review to help other homeowners know what to check after having a new HVAC system…read moreinstalled. NexGen installed my system about one year ago. When the air conditioning stopped working, they told me the circuit board needed replacement. They said the part was under warranty, but I would still pay approximately $500 for the technician. I then spent nearly two months without working AC while waiting for this supposed repair. I finally called Southwest Heating & Air Conditioning for a second opinion. They came out, identified the actual problems, and restored the AC during the same visit--without replacing the circuit board NexGen said I needed. Southwest's written inspection documented several serious concerns with the original installation: * The system had been installed without an air filter. * The filter housing had been taped completely shut. * There were multiple wiring problems, including the system being wired incorrectly. * The plenum was leaking. * The ductwork was not adequately sized for the five-ton system. * A wireless sensor should have been installed on the third floor to help regulate airflow. * Additional repairs are still needed for the system to operate as it should. My advice to other homeowners: Do not assume an expensive part is the problem or wait for months without AC. Get a second opinion and ask the technician to check the filter housing, wiring, plenum, duct sizing, airflow, and sensors--especially after a new installation. I also had a similar pricing experience with NexGen's plumbing department. They quoted approximately $4,600 for work that another licensed company completed for about $860. After an incorrect diagnosis, two months without AC, poor communication, installation concerns, and extremely high pricing, I cannot recommend NexGen. I was also advised to report this matter to the California Contractors State License Board.

Unit included install of ecobee smart thermostat, which I am in love with! Not sure how I got by all this time without one. By far the best quoted price out of the four I received. The team placed a mat by the front door entrance to my house, which was a very nice touch, covered carpeted areas where they would be walking.
