In my reality, queen is queen, king is king, and standard is standard (twin). The clerk said I could buy a pair of king cases (on sale for $66) and take them in for alteration to fit a queen pillow for almost no charge. Not wanting to spend good money after bad, I opted to take my business elsewhere in the future.
