It was quite a lengthy process, but the people from LRG made the process so much easier. From the first day when Julio showed up to access the damage until the very last day, they did awesome work. They worked around my schedule so I was able to attend my classes at the gym. The communication was excellent. They kept me up to speed with what was going on each step of the way. Their work was immaculate. At the end of each day they cleaned up before they left and communicated about what was being done the next day. My house is finished and it looks incredible. I was so pleased with the work that I am hiring them to do some additional work for me. I would highly recommend this company for any home improvement project you may have. A special thanks to Louis and Travis who were awesome throughout this process. All of the guys were hard workers, but especially Ernesto who does exceptional work. Thank you LRG Builders!

I honestly feel bad for anyone who ends up using this company. After a small garage fire, my…read morelandlord's insurance company referred us to LRG. The damage was only in the garage -- no structural issues with the house -- yet we were out of our home for an entire year because of their delays and incompetence. Right from the start, they went to the city to get permits without any plans or blueprints. The city sent them away, and it took them eight weeks just to make the plans. Then, after they finally did measurements (which you'd think they'd do first), they realized they were wrong and had to start over -- another eight weeks wasted. When they finally submitted the plans, the city denied them three times because LRG didn't submit the proper paperwork. I actually had to step in and tell them what was missing so the city could approve the permit. It was unbelievable. Even after the permit was approved, they moved at a snail's pace. They rarely answered calls or emails, and when the project manager finally showed up for a walkthrough, he didn't take a single note. Sure enough, he later installed a cabinet directly behind a door so that when you open it, the door slams right into it. Common sense clearly isn't their strong suit. They also used the cheapest materials possible. I caught them on camera talking about reusing an old garage door opener from their shop instead of buying the high-end one my landlord originally had. The garage flooring they installed wasn't even glued down -- it literally lifts up. If rain gets in, it's going to cause mold. Everything about their finishing work screamed unprofessional. It looked like it was done by someone with no real experience. Because of LRG's total lack of organization and accountability, my wife, two young kids, our large dog, and I had to live in a hotel for a full year -- for a job that should have taken maybe four months. Avoid LRG at all costs. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and completely unqualified to handle even the simplest project.

I recently moved and went looking for a contractor to handle the renovation project in my new home…read more My mom and I met several contractors, did walk-throughs of the project, interviews, etc. Once we meet Florentino, we knew he was the right man for the job. He arrived on time for the appointment, listened to our wants and needs, offered some professional suggestions to enhance our desired results, and provided a quote for the project quickly. Our project budget was just under $90,000. Florentino did a great job of completing the project on time and under budget. He kept us informed every step of the way and adapted to any changes that needed to be made at the last minute. He never complained, kept workers on task, and communicated expectations and deadlines throughout the project. The work done by Florentino included the following: demolition of walls, constructing new walls, installing french doors, installing hardwood floors, natural stone floors, install of all tile shower in guest bath, paint interior and exterior of house, install new side door, pour concrete walkway, new vinyl gate and fence, two alumawood patios (one 6x8 feet, one 12 x 56 feet), electrical work (adding, moving, and replacing outlets and switches), new granite counter tops with new sink and back-splash, retrofitting existing cabinets for new appliances, and hang multiple ceiling fans and lighting fixtures. I am extremely pleased by the work Florentino has done and proud to recommend him to anyone in need of his services. I cannot say enough good things about him, his work ethic, and his character.

Looking for a great fence contractor? Keep looking because this one isn't! I hired McGraw…read moreConstruction to build a fence after reading reviews and their price being competitive from other quotes. I had a good feeling about working with Florentino and the job started off well. He was good about responding to my texts and questions and was timely to start the job. Overall I was happy with the work but looking back there were some issues I wish worked out better. I liked them but just don't feel I got what I paid for. I wish the overall communication with me, as a customer, was better. Florentino mentioned before starting the job that he and his crew does not work weekends. My job began midweek and was told if it wasn't completed by Friday, it would be by Monday which I didn't have issue with. I drove into town that Saturday to check on the progress and was surprised to find Florentino working on it. It wasn't an issue with me but my tenant wasn't too happy since they were having a large family function and was concerned about the work/noise during their event. I wish I knew so that I could have communicated that to my tenants. Per my request, McGraw installed a 4" mow strip which the fence sits on. The fence posts are 6" wide and sticks out past the mow strip, looking off. I am not an experienced fence builder. I would have appreciated being advised to go with a 6" mow strip to have the end result look uniform. The original photo I showed Florentino of the end look, as far as the tiered design going from high to medium to small height (fence in front yard separating my property from neighbors) was not correct, therefore had to be changed twice. This caused him to stay longer now into the early evening because he didn't want to return the next day or Monday and caused issue with my tenant due to tenant needing to get to bed early for work the next day. Communication from Florentino would have been important and would have saved time if I was called to be informed/advised design would need an additional board to be removed in order to match previous design change. Included in my quote was to replace a walk through gate entering my side yard to the backyard. I noticed the boards on the bottom of the gate were not even. Per my request they were cut evenly. How could you not have them even or not notice that?! Then I noticed the original posts for the gate were not replaced and the entire section wobbled. The posts are original and 20 yrs old. I requested the entire section to be replaced. Only the fence boards were replaced leaving the original wobbly posts and the X section boards replaced after I insisted. He explained to me that the posted were not damaged and still in good condition. I felt more like he didn't want to take the time to do it. I would have liked a call saying "Hey, these posts are very loose. Do you want us to replace or leave alone and only replace the fence boards?". A month and half later there are three fence boards that are warped and making the entire design unappealing. Cedar was decided for this job. It's been stated to me that cedar is not the best to work with and looks like the most inexpensive kind was used on my project. It was not communicated to me in the job estimate stage from Florentino the life span and effects of cedar. Not knowing about fencing, I would have expected to be somewhat educated/advised by an experienced contractor on wood types. Unfortunately, it looks like the boards will need replacing within a year after spending over $3,000 for this project. I don't feel McGraw went over/beyond on my job, rather wanted to get it done in the quickest way and charged more than I should have paid. Wish I could feel more warm/fuzzy on this one. Next project I will do more homework.

A few months ago we were looking to remove the popcorn from our ceilings. I called Pacific Drywall…read more/ Home 360 to ask them for help, and started to talk to Sheri. It turned out that the timing was not right for the removal of the ceiling. As we were about to hang up, I was told that this company also does a lot of other remodeling work, including door replacements. So, I decided to continue the conversation with Sheri about replacing all our interior doors, as well as the front door of hour home. And glad I was that I didn't hang up that phone to quickly. I told Sherie that my wife and I picked a couple of door models, one for exterior door, and another model, from another catalogue, for all the interior doors. She asked me to send her over the information, arranged for their foreman, Rob, to come by to take a look at our project, and promised to give me a quote within a few days after his visit. At the same time, I decided to get a second quote from one of the two major home improvement stores in our area, for comparison. The big box store rep came first. Right from the beginning, he tried to change my wife's mind about the door models and manufacturers. After he saw that we were not happy with the fact that he was steering us in a different direction, the guy ended up taking the measurements, writing down the information, and leaving quickly with a promise for a very good, heavily discounted quote. A day later, Rod from Pacific Drywall / Home 360 came by. Really friendly, very knowledgeable, he listened to us, looked at what we wanted to buy/install, gave us some ideas on how to better organize the door replacement project, so we could fit it into our larger remodeling that were going to have done in our home. While Rob didn't make any promises, he gave us a warm feeling that we could trust him, his crew and the company that he worked for. A week or so after both visits, we got the quotes back from both Pacific Drywall / Home 360, as well as from the big box home improvement store in the area. There was a big, wide gap between the two numbers, with a much, much higher quote coming in from the big box store. Our one exterior door, plus 6 interior doors, one double interior door, and one garage/interior door were becoming super expensive on the quote from the guy who treated our choices as their were bad. So much for a low quote! In contrast, Sheri, from Pacific Drywall / Home 360 sent us a quote which was right in the ball park that we were looking for. A very decent number, that included labor, and the delivery of the doors in two separate stages, in order to accomodate our other work done in the house. It was a no brainer to pick Sheri's quote and agree to get the work done with her colleagues. Rod gaves us the confidence that we could trust him and his crew, and Sheri backed him up with a great price. Little we knew, both Sheri and I, that it would take quite a lot of work and hoops, for her, to get our doors from the manufacturers. Over the course of two months, she worked close with both companies to get the right doors, the right color, and for the exterior door, the right lock and look that we wanted. Sheri stayed on top of the various roadblocks that had to deal with, and kept me all the time informed and up-to-date on the new developments. The delivery and installation of the doors was made in two parts: the exterior door and the garage/interior doors were installed first, with the rest of the interior doors done three weeks later, in order to accomodate our schedule. When the doors arrived, I was a little surprised, and a bit worried not seeing Rod. However, right from the get going, I was put at ease by the professionalism of Bobbi, who did most of the work in both stages. I cannot speak highly enough of how careful the installation was done, and on how well Bobbi managed to get each door properly installed. Our home presented a challenge for the front door installation, as the frame around the area was a bit out of alignment (old house :):)) Bobbi took his time, and ensured that everything would be properly aligned, measured and adjusted more than I could even count, until he was happy with his work. Then, he took his time and did some magic work on re-creating the texture around the frame of the entry door to a degree that it looked very much alike with the surrounding wall area. You could see that his attention to detail, and quest for perfection were out of the ordinary. The attached photos are a testament of the many reasons that made us be happy with the outcome of Bobbi's work. It took a while to write this long review, but I am really glad that I did it, as a small token of appreciation for the help that we got from Sheri, Bobbi and Rod at Pacific Drywall / Home 360. If you are looking at remodeling projects and are seeking outstanding help, don't hesitate to call this company. You will be glad you did. I know I was. Thank you, Sheri, Bobbi and Rob!
