Pablo completed the first mow, but I was unaware that he would be sending an invoice via Venmo, which I did not see. When Pablo arrived for the next scheduled mow, I had not yet paid the first invoice, and as a result, he chose not to mow our yard. We were outside, moving our dog's lead and bowls while Pablo was in the neighboring yard, but he didn't mention anything to us. He drove off without mowing. Afterward, my husband and I texted Pablo to ask what happened and why he didn't mow our yard. He responded that he hadn't been paid. This was a simple misunderstanding on our part regarding his payment method. We had previously paid our last mowing service monthly, so I wasn't expecting a per-mow invoice, and I had simply missed the request since I rarely use Venmo. After realizing the mix-up, I promptly paid the first invoice. My husband then asked Pablo if he could fit our yard into his schedule in the next few days, as we were leaving for a trip and wouldn't be able to find another mower on such short notice.
