DISH claim information DC-390599 Lefar Inc DBA Camera and Video. This company sent Jesus Pena to my home 11/28/2023 to align my DISH. He climbed on top of a metal roof on the addition to my home, took a few steps and when he noticed he was leaving deep depressions in my roof and damaging it, he hopped off. I was inside the addition at the time. I yelled out as soon as I heard him walk on the roof and ran outside immediately. I guess this technician had no training whatsoever in what types of roofs he can walk on. I reported a claim to DISH when I noticed the roof leaked due to being crushed at the seams where 2 panels meet directly on the damage made by Jesus Pena. This company and DISH have given me the run around for weeks, at one point even denying (according to DISH) their technician ever climbed on my roof. They have left me on hold for extended periods, hung up on me after placing me on hold for a long time, failed to return phone calls, and acted as unprofessionally as any company I have ever dealt with. I was asked to get a repair estimate, which I did. I provided pictures. I had a roofing contractor examine the damages and pinpoint the area that was leaking ( directly where Jesus Pena stepped) and made numerous calls, sent numerous emails and all I get is the run around. If DISH sends a representative from this company to your home, dont permit them to do any work. Instead, have them send a professional from another company instead. I had just moved in to a new home and a Technician named Lorenzo from West Coast came to install the Nest home security cameras inside and outside of my house. The technician was on time, respectful, and very helpful! He also recommended I invest in the Nest/Google doorbell camera as well, which I ended up purchasing while he was there. He also helped me download the app that works with the Nest cameras so I can have a live feed access to all my new Nest products easily on my phone anytime. I am so happy with my installation and would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to protect their home with extra security to look into getting a Nest product. read more

I was having problems with pixilation on my dish system. West coast was used by dish to fix the problem. They came out and said I needed a new hopper which the tech installed. At the same time tech said there was a promotion for Google Wi fi system which I bought. Also promo on outside camera which I also bought. Turns out that new hopper didn't fix the problem, still pixilation. Next day tech came back to install camera, I was promised a weather proof cable would be used as a free upgrade. Tech installed camera however he did not use a weather proof cable, I was instructed by the service manager to take pictures and send to him, he then agreed the wrong cable was used and tech would have to come back to install correct cable, service mgr. said he would give me a free Google mini as a plus. At this time I purchased a Google door bell camera on another promotion, when tech came to fix cable he would install door bell camera. I was still getting the pixilation problem, tech came out first thing in morning, however he was having problems installing door bell camera and kept knocking out power to home, I had to reset breaker several times. Tech said camera was no good and would have to get another one and return later. Hours went by and tech arrived late in evening, he installed the camera which worked (because I reset receptacle breaker that tech didn't know he tripped, I discovered when trying to close garage door), I had to leave home before tech changed outside cable for outside camera. While I was gone I received text that wi fi to sons room knocked off line, tech again caused problem. Okay, now both cameras are working, however I discovered that tech took and kept with him some equipment I needed and paid for regarding the door bell camera. I notified west coast satellite about this and told them I wanted my equipment back that I may need parts in future install of camera. West coast said they would notify tech to return parts, tech said he would whenever he was in the area of my home again. I still had problems with pixilation and west coast sent another tech, this tech advised that software for hopper needed to be updated and did so. Tech said problem was fixed and would go away, later that day after service the pixilation continued, tech fixed nothing! Informed west coast that tech did not fix problem and I still didn't have my paid for equipment even though it was 2 weeks later. WC advised they would send another tech to house and further added that I qualified for a promotional gift of a Google mini tablet to use with my new camera system, WC also stated new tech would bring owed equipment along with new tablet. Tech arrived days later, of course he didn't have owed equipment or tablet and stated he knew nothing about it. Tech worked on system and said he fixed problem, however later that day problem continued. I then contacted dish and informed them of all the problems with WC and my system still didn't work, this time dish sent an actual dish tech. This tech actually brought out equipment to trace the problem (something west coast tech's never did) and discovered a problem with the satellite head and old connectors, he replaced all and problem now fixed!! Contacted WC regarding owed equipment and promised promotional Google tablet, manager that I spoke with must of had a bad day and this time she told me that I couldn't have the promotional tablet (and discovered that the Google mini that service mgr. acted like he was doing me a favor was actually a promotional item that I should have received anyways) The tech that kept my equipment finally returned some of my equipment but not everything I paid for in the box. I contacted dish and informed them of all this fubar and told them I never wanted west coast satellite to ever come to my address again, dish agreed and even gave me a credit for the promotional Google tablet I didn't get from west coast. I will continue to subscribe to dish, but will never let west coast do any work at my house, they are worthless!! read more

I had my tv hung on my wall about 5 years ago from this company and have had no issues, even with the many little earthquakes we've had. There were two technicians here so while one was mounting the bracket on the wall, I had the other technicians set up my new tv, that I had just purchased, on a stand in my mom's bedroom. This company was sent by Dish Network and their technician was awful. He went with his shoes on my white carpet, did not have shoe covers.did not fix the system properly and was rude. This company was contracted by Dish Network to complete my satellite cable install. Time is one of the most valuable things a human has and unfortunately mine has been tremendously wasted. I had my dish install on Thursday, first guy did what he had to do and installed my cable. The problem is that he could not connect the Hopper 3 to my home internet, to which he suggested a router is needed to hardwire the connection from the hopper to my home internet. He advised someone will come the following day Friday to take care of this. Friday came and no one arrived, therefore I called again to set up another appointment for the following day to get this fixed once for all. Saturday came, installer finally arrived but the problem again is that he didn't come with the device needed to make the connection work as he was not instructed to do so. He did what he could to make it work by resetting network and other basic troubleshooting actions but could not get it fixed without the router needed. He advised he will send someone the next day for someone to come with the needed device and make it work. It is next day Sunday and still no one arrived to complete installation. I call Westcoast Satellite customer service directly and advised there's no install scheduled for today. This is the biggest waste of time I've experienced in years and worst experience from people who don't seem to care about my time. Although I switched from Spectrum because of their higher price, I will go back with them without a doubt and rather pay more for a true customer service and people who are actually competent to do what they say they're going to do. Dish set up an appointment for West Coast to upgrade my receivers. Fist the technician they sent (Ken) shows up almost two hours later than the scheduled time he was supposed to get here. Then when he does show up I tell him that my satellite dish is on the roof. He takes a look at the front of my house and tells me he can't get up to the roof from the front of the house. I let him know he can try from the yard if he wants. He gets to the yard and tells me the same thing. The reason he can't get up on the roof is that being the great worker that he is he didn't bring a big enough ladder to get up to my roof. I question him why he doesn't have the proper ladder and he tells me that it is not in his notes that he needs a ladder to access my roof. He then tries to give me a second excuse that he is using a borrowed truck and because of that, he doesn't have his usual equipment. So, he then leaves because he doesn't have the ladder and can't complete the job he was sent here to do. I took a day off of work and waited for an unprepared tech to show up and tell me he couldn't do his job because he did not have the necessary equipment. I want to know why this tech was sent to my house if he was unprepared to do the job he is being payed to do. I wasted my time waiting for this guy and the job was not done. read more
