My husband was looking for a small local toy store to go buy a birthday gift for our baby nephew. So this is the store we picked. We'd planned to go to Target as a backup plan. I'd also fully expected we would go in here and find something and have to buy it on Amazon because it would be significantly cheaper. But that wasn't the case, and that made me so happy. Their prices are absolutely reasonable, even for things that are normally insane and overpriced. I was really impressed. The staff that are working clearly love their job and are incredibly helpful. They greeted us when we walked in, let us explore, and answered all of our questions, taking us to certain aisles and showed us things. We were definitely welcomed in the store. We ended up buying two toys for our nephew's first birthday, and I'm definitely coming back when Christmas comes closer. This is such an amazing small local business to support and everyone should take the time to stop by.

I made a stop in yesterday to see if they could repair it. It was some of the worst damage they had seen. They spent over an hour on the repair and warned me that it could fly differently after repair. I took it out in 20 mph winds and the foil flew perfectly. They were wonderful to work with. This has to be one of the most prolific kite shops I have been in. The interior is just completely flooded with a wash of colors from all sorts of kites, windsocks, spinners, you name it they have it. There is such a huge variety in here that it is almost overwhelming to decide what type of kite to get. Fortunately for me, I am a fan of the long trailing dragon kites. I ended up purchasing a 32 foot long dragon kite. I also got one of those spools that are easy to wind. The kite did come with a small spool, but the shopkeeper set it up for me as a replacement roll as a backup spool. We also ended up getting a patriotic windsock for our carport and the Mrs picked out a nice streamer windsock with a stained glass butterfly for our patio. This shop is very much customer service oriented and has a huge volume and variety, including those metallic wind spinners. In the future if I'm in the market for a large competition kite, it will be worth it to take the drive from Eugene to get here.
