After reading the stellar reviews about this small business, I decided to drop by and fill up a couple of tanks. When I arrived, there was nobody. I figured someone would be at the office to help me, so I stepped inside the trailer. No one at the front desk. I thought I heard someone talking on the phone in a room further inside, but I didn't want to interrupt. I instead walked outside just in case there was a separate window or something that I missed. Seeing that there wasn't, I decided to step back into the office and wait. When I did, I was met with a woman who snapped "I'm on the phone, can't you hear that I'm on the phone? Wait!" before storming back inside. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or on a really stressful call, but I decided to take my business elsewhere at that point since first impressions matter to me. read more

Today I am writing because I went to Wessel propane for the first time ever. (My dad goes there a lot). I was helped by Nona, who is an amazing amazing lady. My tank was expired, she could have ripped me off but she didn't. She told me exactly where to go and get it swapped out. The other tank she filled up for me and she didn't even charge me, since I was low on change. We had a very nice chat about life and love and accepting everyone for who they are. Just treat everyone with dignity and respect. In times like these where our world is so divided and our future may look so despairing, Nona did an act of kindness. It is people like Nona who unite the world to make it a better place. Not only does she have a good heart but Nona is very knowledgeable. Arrived and there were two people ahead of me with lots of tanks, but that went fast since they can fill two at a time and they're quick. Paid cash and was out of there quickly. Dusty lot so if you keep your car/truck clean, fill before your next wash. I can't say that they were nice or not nice because it all went so fast. But I'm definitely going back. I liked the place. Good prices and it's nice to support a local small business. Worth the 5 minute extra drive to support them even if I only have one or two 30# tanks to fill. read more

Best propane around. I would rather drive from Pomona then get ripped off at Walmart or 7-11 exchanging my tank with only half to 3/4 of the tank filled. Wessel's prices are fair and they look out for your best interest. My tank was deemed unsafe do to the valve leaking. Nona let me know and made sure she kept me and my family safe from faulty Walmart equipment. I trust them and appreciate them not trying to take advantage like other places by trying to sell me one of their tanks. What kind owners this place has!! I came here to fill my bbq propane tank up and didn't have cash on me to pay for the fill. The owner said to not worry about it and to bring the payment the next day. With my forgetful mind, I forgot to bring the money until two weeks later.
