I am so impressed with their selection of coffees! Their depth charge really packs a punch and as I lay in bed at 4 a.m. quietly muttering curses at Wesley Owen's, I realized it was only because they really did do their job well. They offer local honey (definitely a plus), local handmade jewelry (extra plus plus), free Wi-Fi (triple awesome plus plus plus) and have a very chill feel all around. As a coffee-loving Denverite in search of the goods in a place like Monument, I couldn't have been happier to run across Wesley Owens. First of all, they use Novo Coffee--my favorite roaster in Denver. What's more, they know how to pull some good espresso. They also carry Ritual Chcocolates, my favorite chocolatier in the area. Yee-hah! My day suddenly got much better with the first sips of my cappuccino. The baristas here are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is charming, and the coffee is dang good. I have enjoyed going to Wesley Owens for several years. They have an excellent selection of coffee, teas and pastries, and the lounge area is warm and inviting. I have introduced this place to several friends and family, and all of them absolutely love going there. The owners are always on site and remember my name! If I could give 10 stars I would! On a side note - I met a lovely lady there for our first date and we really hit it off. We see each other nearly everyday now, and I think she gets coffee at Wesley Owens just about every day. I wasn't super impressed but it was ok...It's not fair for the little guys because how do they compete with the corporate giants? They need to make a difference and stand out beyond the call of duty to impress. Wesley, if that's truly the owner's name, should put a sign up that states that his coffee beans are soaked in vats of excitement, enthusiasm and positive energy before processed for the their coffee. Inject some humor and make a client smile and watch what happens. A cool slogan or attack line and this little David could take out the Goliath in a small geo-targeted area. "Did you know that the FDA has admittingly unidentified over 40 substances in coffee that they do not want to do the research to find out the effects of the minerals? Here at Wesley's, we have identified a few of those substances. We have genetically altered a few to ensure that you have a fantastic day". I'm not saying that they need to inject their coffee with acid but they can definitely try to make a difference... HA! read more

This is arguably the best coffee shop in the tri-Lakes area. It has a nice, relaxing and cozy vibe and the staff are always very helpful and accommodating. They offer plenty of gluten-free options as well which always makes me happy. Might I recommend the lemon muffin. My favorite drink by far is a Paris Fog, which is a twist on the London Fog with lavender instead of vanilla. Even more amazing,are the owners, Fabian and Lindsey . You can tell that their hearts are in this place and that they genuinely care about their community. So, ignore the Starbucks drive-through, get out of your car, and get out into the community! read more

I didn't know what a nerve center of awesome this place was! The coffee is obviously amazing (and the red latte is exceptional AND decaf) and there are some fantastic little food items in there as well that taste like they came straight from mom's kitchen. The interior is inviting and bright with lots of seating, and the Internet appears to draw in all the local teleworkers needing a change of scenery. Highly recommended, will be back. read more

I am so impressed with the reviews of this place! I met a friend here (it's about halfway between the Springs and Castle Rock) and liked it immediately. It's big and comfortable and there is enough seating and space that it doesn't feel like you are on top of people. Even their bathroom was nicer than I expected- clean and big. The people working were friendly and helpful. Next time I'm going to take the time to ask more questions because it's a unique place that seems very intentional in what they stock and serve, which I like. They had a big selection of tasty looking teas you can buy to take home and also a cute section of shabby chic items you can buy. I had already had my coffee for the morning so I got a smoothie which was very good. I also had what is one of the very best blueberry muffins of my life! I'm pretty sure I'm going to be craving them! I want to bring my husband back sometime because they have some great sounding chai drinks. They also have an enclosed meeting room you can rent out- great idea. I recommend you check out their website- it explains a lot and was really helpful. Best mexican mocha I've ever had! They also serve something called scotch eggs, a hardboiled egg wrapped in sausage, coated in crushed potato chips and served with an amazing "secret sauce." Those, the incredible scones, great coffee and lovely owners make it a favorite. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I have been a loyal customer for YEARS. This year every single time I have gone into Wesley Owens usually between 9 and 9:30 am they are always out of SOMETHING. Today was the final straw when I went in to get a latte at 8am and it took them 15 minutes to make it, I was the only customer in there when there was 2-3 of the regular baristas standing there. Then they messed up the order and I was told "maybe next time you should speak up and actually order what you want before you pay for it." I then stood there for 15 more minutes and then I had an event to go to. Absolutely rude and will never be going back. read more

The Red Latte and atmosphere was superb. The barista seemed put out when asked if they did latte art. When told that the order would be be for here " oh.. did you want an actual cup?" as she wrote the order on a paper cup. Then stated that she would bring it out when it was ready. Cut to 15 minutes later (it wasn't busy) overheard this same barista ask some one else to make the order, then didn't bring it out when it was ready. My family and I recently moved from Colorado to Michigan and at the top of our list of things we miss is Wesley Owens Coffee! This place is second to none. Not only is everything they make delicious (I love their White Mocha and my wife loves their chai; we both love their scones!), but the service is always friendly ! The atmosphere of the new location is awesome too!! Plus, Fabian the owner knows what I want before I even order, so I hypothetically could just tell him "the usual".
