Glad I stumbled across Dynamo in a Yelp search looking for a place to meet a friend halfway-ish between his place and mine. I saw all the lovely reviews and photos. When I pulled up I was confused. The exterior is just a very drab commercial building. I was thankfully surprised when I walked in to find a warm and welcoming space. The artwork and vintage finds were super rad (a lot of the pieces are for sale). All of staff I encountered were very friendly. Food: The breakfast burrito with kielbasa sausage was sooo good! My new top (non-Mexican) breakfast burrito. Large and pressed on a panini press, it was perfect. $9 was reasonable too. My friend had the Denali breakfast burrito and he raved about it ($13ish). The food was also the lack of that 5th star. The coffee was just ok. I had a cold brew with house-made toffee syrup. Not sure why Dynamo needs to reinvent the wheel by making their own syrup, it wasn't very good. It just had this non-descript sweet taste. Also had a piece of their apple cake. Even warmed up it was unbelievably dry. Later at home butter couldn't even redeem it. read more

I don't get to stop in to Dynamo often, but when I do it's an incredible experience from start to finish. Today was coffee with a friend! You're greeted, asked if you need more time with the menu or have any questions. I chose one of their October drinks, the Mochamento Mori. My friend ordered a Cortado with Oatmilk and a black coffee. My friend was given her black coffee and we were given a number for our other drinks. We grabbed a seat and shortly after her Cortado arrived followed by my latte. There are no words for how incredible the Mori was. The flavors were all apparent, but mingled together flawlessly. I would drink one of these everyday!! My friend had nothing but amazing things to say about her beverage as well. Dynamo is one of my favorite places. If you're sitting in, the smell of coffee and the buzz of conversations is the icing on the coffee shop vibe. I wish I were nearby more often, but I know that no matter the time between visits, the consistency stays the same. Until next time! read more

They also are very kind when it comes to explaining the difference between coffees and don't make you feel stupid which is nice compared to other coffee shops. This was my first time visiting. The atmosphere was very inviting. The baristas were very friendly and helpful. Amazing service! I ordered a cappuccino, and they had a light and dark espresso to choose from. I chose dark and added a sprinkle of cinnamon mmmmm. Delicious cappuccino! My husband had the egg nog latte. Nice staff. Busy spot. Even with that in consideration getting a coffee was painfully slow, talkin 20 mins slow. Giving the benefit of the doubt it looked like the problem is their lack of space back there making operations bungled and slow. As far as the coffee it sadly was bland. If I hadn't seen them put caramel sauce in the cup of my iced latte I would have thought they forgot it. Little to no caramel flavor and the coffee flavor itself didn't impress alone. Dynamo was the first roaster I tried when moving to the springs. Each bag of beans has made for tasty coffee at home, and the Costa Rica blend kept me coming back. I've never sat to enjoy a coffee in their shop, but I do enjoy the smells and ambiance of the place when I step in. The staff is always friendly, and since I'm typically just buying beans it's a quick in and out. I've never seen them with a big line, but the tables are often full. I must have gotten spoiled in the beginning, because it was a nice treat that they'd give me a free small cup of the days drip coffee when I bought my bags. It's not an expensive cup of course, but it felt like a nice treat to get. read more

good coffee. i like that they make their syrups in house. espresso is pretty dark. next time i think ill try a different flavor to see if it was the flavor i didn't like or the espresso. overall a good experience. not a place you can expect to go in, get a quick coffee and get out. probably waited 10ish minutes for 2 lates. not a big deal but it's a good place to meet up w a friend to chat, get work/school done or take your time getting a good snack/drink. cool art and vibes all around. will be going back to see more of their options! read more

What a fantastic coffee shop! On our stop through Colorado Springs, we were looking for a good spot for breakfast and coffee. Well, this was phenomenal! Not only were we greeted by the friendliest staff, it was also the cutest (and best spot) to work remotely. We ordered an Earl Grey, Peppermint Mocha, Oat Milk Latte, The Colorado, a Bacon Burrito, and the My Big Fat Greek Wrap. Everything was phenomenal and made to order perfectly! It was so good we went back on our way through a week later. This is a must stop whether for a quick coffee or to stop and work. Yum! read more

The reviews gave us high hopes but sadly we were let down. The coffee is very acidic and was definitely burnt. We also got a secret club and that was extremely disappointing. There were two pieces of bacon and one slice of turkey meat. The sandwich was mostly mustard and tomato. Good service and good breakfast burrito. I had the Denali and an iced oat milk latte with lavender syrup. Both were delicious and even though they were busy when I stopped by the wait for my order was only about 5 minutes. I had a good experience and will definitely be back. They have a decent amount of seating and I like that you can see where they roast the beans on-site. They use the clover pos system which provides you and opportunity to earn a free drink when you buy 10, you just put in your phone number in when you check out. The only suggestion I have is to change up the plastic cups that you serve the iced drinks in. The plastic they are made with is too thin and if you aren't paying attention you could squeeze the cup to hard and the lid can pop off, causing a spill. Easy fix by moving to a different cup. The customer service was great! Really cool decorations, merchandise, and fun games and books for children. They also have food for breakfast all day. A little expensive. My cold brew is amazing but $6.25. Just to let you know, if you want flavored pumps, it cost $.50 a pump. That's probably why my drink was more than five dollars. Overall, I love it!!!! it is a really good place to study. When it isn't loud. I like that place a lot better than Starbucks. For me as a Christian, I don't really like the meaning of Starbucks. I visited Dynamo Coffee for the first time and I was blown away. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was the shop atmosphere. It's overall relaxing with a curated selection of thrifted furniture and art. The color scheme is also energizing, especially for a creative. I took a video and forgot to take some overall photos of the setup, sorry about that! The employees are knowledgeable and friendly, we had a great conversation about different coffee grinders, non-dairy milk, and local roasters we admire. I got an oat milk latte with their homemade vanilla syrup, and it was really good. In the future, they want to roast espresso for the shop. I can't wait to try their roasts once that gets going. Brand new coffee shop in town that came up quickly. It has an eclectic look and feel. The owners are young and hard working, doing everything themselves. They are welcoming to everyone and offer great products. I love when I can have a conversation with the owners that goes beyond small talk. My cortado was fantastic. My wife's dirty chai was a good sweet chai that didn't have too much spice. The kids hot chocolate was amazing! I almost didn't want to give it to my daughter. Absolutely love this place!! The staff is beyond great and seem like they truly care about the place! Coffee is always good and while I have never had anything I did not like; I have seen them replace items that someone did not 100% love without any issue. As far as speed, they are about as fast as they can be depending on how busy they are. There is no drive-thru so anyone who expects super-fast service should consider ordering online ahead of time. I have also really enjoyed the ambiance. I have been able to comfortably spend a few hours working on homework. I have also been able to just sit and relax while reading. As far as food is concerned, I have yet to have anything I did not love. They make most items in house or use local places for ingredients. When it comes to breakfast, I love my hearty recipes (eggs and potatoes) but I have fallen in love with their 'Monkey Fist' wrap. I crave it to the point I consider buying a couple for breakfast throughout the week. read more
