We went to the only place open at 0600 while waiting for my son's eye appointment and what a treat! The atmosphere is perfect with high ceilings and great lighting, a delightful array of gifts, clearly a Christian environment and outstanding breakfast foods. The coffee comes from a local roaster and there is an amazing selection of teas. I had the omelet which was delicious while my son had a breakfast burrito with green chili and the biscuits and sausage gravy. The prices are great with good serving sizes. Service was great!! Stopped here for a meeting and had a wonderful bagel with cream cheese and locks with a dark roast coffee - both were excellent and with quite an accommodating and friendly staff. The ambiance is really comfortable with dark chairs and an unfinished ceiling. This is definitely my new go to place for off site morning meetings. read more

Stopped by here on a whim for an afternoon pick-me-up while picking up some items in the area. This is located in an older strip mall but the inside is spacious and cozy. Plenty of seating options and a cute little area for shopping with items from local businesses. I asked for the barista's recommendation and let her know it was my first time in. She asked if I like my coffee sweet or less sweet. I told her sweet and she recommended the Wesley's Caramel which was amazing. I arrived a few hours before closing and they appeared to be out of pastries which was disappointing but they had a vast menu of other food options if I would have been hungry. I ended up purchasing a bag of coffee beans and a couple containers of tea bags as well. I hope to be back soon. read more

Steampunk and church. Two words I never thought I'd say together in one sentence and certainly not how I thought I would ever describe a vibe at a coffee shop but I'm totally here for it. WO coffee is good, like really good. Plenty of seating including an enclosed meeting room. Also included is a little shop with misc random items. Hidden in a small strip mall , near the entrance to Jackson Parkway, but near the Highway . I always get quick service, much faster than nearby drive thru options. Nice atmosphere to work on computer with their free wi-Fi. Wife really likes the Everything Bagel toasted with Lox and cream cheese ,capers, onions and tomatoes.... What a great place. I was here years ago and it always had a good atmosphere. 6 years later not only has it retained its professionalism but has even become classy. The egg wrapped in sausage and fried in potato crumbles was good and the chai is proving to be quite delicious. In addition, the owner is such a cool guy. Knowledgeable, interesting and runs a great place. I would recommend Wesley Owen's to anyone who is looking for a well priced, delicious cup of chai and expects a high standard in a cafe. read more

Such a cute coffee shop in monument right next door to pikes peak brewery. It's quiet inside with tons of seating, including plush sofas. This is a great place to get work done, meet someone for coffee or anything else you'd want to do at a coffee house. They sell lots of cute merchandise as well and have baked goods, but come early because they sell out fast. I also appreciate that they feature art from local artists. This is a good place to meet people. Lots of 2- and 4-tops. And you can push chairs together to accommodate more people or reserve their private room. Cute coffee shop, with a good selection of drinks. The vanilla latte was decent, but the chai is TERRIBLE! If you're going to advertise that you have a special selection of chai options, PLEASE don't just use chai concentrate with added spices! Overly sweet and just gross. I've been going here since it opened almost 20 years ago. The coffee has a special rich flavor to it. Fabian, the owner is engaging, accommodating and very knowledgeable about his products. Most of the pastries are made in-house by the owner's wife and daughter and are beyond scrumptious. The chicken salad is delicious. They have specialty British tea time grocery foods for sale. Some of the better coffee in Monument area, but no longer my go to place. The atmosphere is more warehouse aesthetic. I never saw the same baristas. They do seem to get good training though. The coffee quality is good, but again, no longer my go to. read more

I've been going to Wesley Owns since 2016, recently went to see a friend from high school and it did not disappoint! It's recently renovated and looks very cute and clean. Service was awesome, the lady up front was extremely helpful and informative. She was so great, I wish I caught her name. Food and drinks have always been good. This time around, it kept that streak. I had the bagel with smoked salmon and the works. Absolutely delicious and flavorful. I also got an iced vanilla chai and that was also very good. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone in Monument. read more

I used to love this place. My hiking group used to stop here on Saturday mornings at least once or twice a month. Sadly if we arrive before 8am there are no pastries. If baked goods are ready at 7, we will I'll gladly come back. read more

Breakfast burrito vegetarian had some mystery grains. Didn't taste or see the egg. Server kind of threw my plate down without silverware. Be nice if you could at least tell me where they were & do it without the smirky face. 2 stars because the chai latte was very good. I suggest drinks only. No food. read more

This is a nice place, with a chill vibe. Staff was friendly and welcoming. They have a simple but interesting food menu. They offer a wide variety of coffees smoothies and teas to please anyone. I had a chicken salad panini. I have to give it a 3 out of 5 stars. The chicken was a bit dry and it was missing something, I didn't get a wow factor. Something to say, yes, I'm having this again. The shop opened in 2007, the then owner named it after his late grandfather : Wesley Owens. Sold in December 2012 to the current owners.

Meet the Business Owner: Fabian F.

Born in Johannesburg South Africa, Fabian and his wife Lindsey moved to London in England just after graduating college in 1996. In London they ran a small IT consultancy but after working in the fast pace of London for 16 years they chose to get out of the rat race. The beautiful Monument Colorado was just what the family needed so Fabian went to the London School of Coffee and trained to be a professional barista and the took on Wesley Owens Coffee.
