Very nice , very friendly. they submitted the request. Later that day late afternoon person called me but I missed the call. I called back immediately since I was sure the answer to my request was what they were calling me for. Upon calling back was informed the person was on break but would call me back. I said no problem they could even call me the next day in the AM. well it's been 3 days and no call. I didn't bother to call back as I can assume my answer was NO to the loan but it would have been professional and courteous to speak to me and tell me. I've been in sales and dealt with customers for years and I never would have thought of just not calling back. Sad.

Was trying to decide which to go to during my lunch break (Santa Ana versus Tustin) yesterday and opted for the farther one from my work (because I'm from Hawthorne, not tryna die and know better) to withdraw money from ATM that's in a riskier area. Both my iPhone and Yelp say Tustin is still open, but this branch is def shutdown. Begrudgingly, I drove to Santa Ana and immediately noticed a dude sitting in a parked beige Lexus SUV with his rear view mirror in perfect view of the ATM. In a vacant bank parking lot. Where there are other spaces he could have taken. I thought, meh, I really need to use the ATM, so I did my thing but the card didn't work and went on my way. Aftering calling the bank on my drive back in to work my conscience got the best of me and I called the Santa Ana police to report the sketch dude in the vehicle sitting in the empty bank parking lot facing the ATM machine on a day it's closed. Be careful, everyone. Times are tough. Turns out when I got my wallet stolen from my office by a student at the trade school I worked at in November and had a new debit card reissued I forgot that I had switched a toggle button on my app that blocks use of my debit card at an ATM until I go into my app to unblock it that's a pretty nifty anti-theft feature. And reason #28373 that I'm a geriatric millennial. ‍

I LOVE them! And Santa Ana Federal Credit Union is a terrific Credit Union. If you are eligible to become a member, I highly recommend it! I first discovered them when I was at a special customer appreciation event at Smiles Dentistry in Santa Ana in early November. I met Gabriel who is in Business Development there and was delighted to learn of there being a Credit Union for the rest of us, not just those with those who work for the County. What a delight. They have the one physical location right in the smack dab middle of the Civic Center area of Santa Ana. And what a surprise! They have a free parking lot there. So, you don't have to pay just to go in and bank with them. The building is small and friendly. They have comfortable seating with comfy chairs in the front waiting area in front of the Tellers area. To be eligible to join SAFCU, you just need to live, work, worship, or go to school in Santa Ana. Or have a connection with one of their SEG's. SEG's are Select Employee Groups. That's what I'm exploring for us to see if my association can qualify. However, 20 years later, I noticed charges being deducted from my accounts and so I reminded them and had to give them the prize paperwork, but then a couple years later, the charges began again! Another demand for my prize paperwork was made, but I foolishly didn't get a copy of the paperwork that I had previously submitted and so now I'm charged a lot for every little thing! Plus, I was misinformed about my savings minimum balance amount by a teller which depleted that account!! California Bank & Mistrust is owned by Zions Bancorporation and neither of them care to maintain their integrity or honor the contract. I got 16 of my employees to signup on that Grand Opening Day, but now I experience regret. Sadly, I suppose it's time to build trust with some new bank after devoting 27 years here.

The management of the bank is unapproachable to point out how diffucult it is to get help. The poor service rep is left apologizing for these impediments when he or she has no conrol over the matter. Shame on Bank of America. The local bank is understaffed and the one time I went into it for cash since the atm does not print ones in over 2 years the line was 10 deep. The manager made an excuse it was lunch time and that the reason only one teller was aviable. What a poor way of providing customer service. How about back up like part time help or the manager himself behind the window? I rest my case.
