It is a great family owned business that they are passionate about. *Disclaimer* this IS a cut your own tree place. That means going out into the fields, finding your tree, cutting it, and bringing it back to the lot. For me, that is part of the experience, and they DO help you by shaking it, netting it, and will assist getting it on/in your car if needed. If you're down with this keep reading! From the moment you arrive you are greeted by the helpful owner and a trusty sweet old black lab. There is a small building with free popcorn and hot chocolate. They provide saws or you can bring your own. There are a huge selection of trees from small to super tall. They have several different types of trees as well. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I found out last year that dogs are welcome leashed, as long as they are well behaved so this year I brought my husky. As mentioned above you cut your tree and carry it back to the stand where they get it ready for you. They do provide twine for tying it to your car as well. Each year a free dated ornament is given to you upon checkout, which I find charming. Sometimes they even have homemade wreaths for sale. Their prices are SUPER reasonable, far more than that tree lot with trees that have been cut for months and wont last long.

You won't find any chopped up aluminum, wood, or any other foreign items in there...just pure mulch. It is the finest shredded mulch we've ever used and seemed to spread over more area than the regular stuff. Ryan has always taken care of us and is very reliable on the delivery side too. Called him late in the week thinking I probably wouldn't get it by the weekend, but 2 hours later I was spreading mulch. Excellent service you just don't find much these days. Once we selected one, a worker was able to help us check-out and get us situated for our car to pick the tree up. You take the tag from the tree and pay for it inside the barn/gift shop. The gift shop has wreaths, ornaments, nativity scene figures, stockings, and pretty much anything else you can think of in terms of Christmas decor. We found a new tree topper during our visit too, which was on our agenda. Every employee we encountered was so kind and friendly! There are selections of fudge, locally made kettle corn, and other snacks available, along with complimentary hot chocolate. Our tree was around $100, which I think is more than real trees offered at super markets, however the experience of the farm and quality of the tree make it an incredible value. We went to get a tree today and all the trees in the field were brown or not very full, so we ended up getting a pre-cut tree from the tree barn. Part of the fun is cutting it down yourself so this was a bummer. They do have other things- a barn with gifts and decor, snacks and free hot chocolate. They also have some goats you can pet and feed. These are nice but unfortunately they have gone down hill in their main thing - Christmas trees. Next year we will go elsewhere for a tree. The prices on those items were steep. Most of the larger household items like furniture or home maintenance essentials were visibly damaged. Lots of "ding and scratch" products. I wasn't very impressed with the prices, there were some bargains, yes. But plenty of the products were above the price point of other off price stores in the area. I also found a couple of health and beauty products that were labeled "not for sale in the USA" (see pictures) do with that what you may, but I was hesitant due to the uncertainty of the ingredients. Overall, if you're looking for an off-price store for various products, this would probably fit the bill. Is it the best? No. It's alright. It may be worth a look, but I'd recommend managing your expectations.

Of course, that was a false promise. Clearly seems that the Left hand does not know what the Right hand is doing. Planting dates were delay, delay, and delay. Finally Will and team appeared only to experience more delay as Jeff loaded and delivered arbor vitae. Patience is a virtue and especially in working with Siebenthaler. All in all, a Great job, and new arbor vitae are beautiful. I have a water supply already set to water for the summer months. As long as one has patience, I recommend Siebenthaler.
