Not as glorious as the website states, as well as not even being close to the corner of Hwy's 50 & 370 as the website map shows. Try hiring someone in the Marketing department that actually knows what they are doing. Average, small ballpark. Does not compete with 80% of other AA or even AA parks out there. Way too far out of the way. Will NEVER replace Rosenblatt! read more

Great venue with a never ending assortment of food and beer. Reasonably priced, and a perfect location. Not a bad seat in the place, and a ton of fun for all ages. read more

We went to the IA Cubs vs Stormchasers game this week. It was a record for Werner Park attendance in May (around 9,000). I was surprised that parking is $5. It was difficult to watch the first part of the game because the sun was in our eyes . We purchased tickets when we got to the door and sat in the outfield reserve. Concessions were overpriced but they did have a good variety of beers! There seemed to be a ton of kid friendly activities (mini-golf, a t-ball diamond, carousel, bounce house etc). We will definitely be back. but next time it won't be during Star Wars weekend. read more

Werner Park - Section 100 - Stadiums & Arenas Near Me - Papillion, Nebraska

I absolutely love Werner park and visiting for baseball games. Tonight, however, I need to talk about their new kiosk, 370 Creamery. There were four employees, but only one register open. The other three were taking forever to make shakes or just stand around, despite the large line that had been being for two hours. They need systems in place and maybe an additional I've cream machine. This was ridiculous! Dairy Queen doesn't take this long! read more

Werner park is a hidden gem within the city of papillon. Everyone that goes to the games are shown great excitement with inning ending mini games and competitions. It is very child friendly and includes a small amusement park area. It also includes a nice outfield bar with plenty of grassy area to pull up a seat and enjoy the game. I try to get to as many games as I can each season. Great time to just blow off stress and relax read more

Congrats on having a great ball park! If only Dodger Stadium could be 1/2 as inviting. Clean, simple restrooms. Love the AC in the Jim Club. Plenty more food options too and all at very reasonable prices. Truly glad I got to experience a game there. read more

Very nice ball park! I always enjoy watching the storm chasers play! You can buy tickets to sit in the McDonald's berm which is nice if you have children who can't sit still or you want to sit close and cozy with your significant other. You can get tickets to sit in the home run porch which is also very fun for kids who want to try to catch a home run ball, but beware they come flying very fast! I've never caught one but the sound they make when they hit the metal bleachers makes me pretty nervous to try, lol but most flying balls make me nervous anyways! They have the regular seats that are very nice as well you get to pick your own seat and they all have a good view. I recommend setting along the 3rd base line if you have kids so your close to all of the fun zone things! The fun zone is like an amusement park right there in the ballpark they have games and rides, but all for a small fee of course. The mascots are always walking around posing for pictures and giving high fives. I think most week days they have a special if you look. I went on a Wednesday and they had 5 cent hot dogs! They often have fun event nights, I have been to bark in the park a few times and it's always hilarious! They will ring a doorbell over the speakers and all the dogs start barking! They played a dog growling over the speakers as well and my dog started growling back, it's a lot of fun! They have Friday night fireworks which I have only been to the stadium two times when they did those just because those nights get pretty crowded but it was very cool to watch! They played good music and turned all the lights off and the fireworks are right there just the McDonald's berm! Fortunately for me I live so close I can actually see the stadium from my deck so I if I'm home sometimes I will go outside to watch them when I hear them. The firework show never disappoints! I've seen their 4th of July show a few times and it used to be better the first year or two warned park opened but it is still very cool and much better then their regular Friday night fireworks! Warner park is a great family fun location! Even if you don't go with your family or kids it's great too! I'm not 21 quite yet so I've never tried their beer but my friends have and they have the awesome cups that fill up from the bottom that close with magnet. Just be warned though if you get a beer don't be dumb and push the magnet out of the bottom with a full glass of beer, I've seen a few of my friends waste an expensive beer a couple times doing that. If you have never been to a storm chasers game you should check it out! read more

Went to the Storm Chasers game tonight and had a blast! The atmosphere and the stadium itself is fantastic. We spent a total of 15 minutes in our seats. The rest of the time, we were wandering around the ball park watching the game from just about everywhere in the stadium. Our favorite spot was between the Downdraught Bar and the Berm. There they have seats where you can sit, watch the game, and enjoy your beer. I was skeptical when I heard they were building a second stadium but after going here, I can see why they did it. This is the perfect place for a minor league game. Take the kiddos, they'll have a great time. read more

My company picnic was here and I recently attended the Great Nebraska Beer Fest. Their event food is pretty sad (a lukewarm veggie burger at my picnic and no veg option/meat sub at the fest). However, it's a beautiful park, just big enough and just small enough. It's great for events, with room to spread out even with tons of people. read more

Great atmosphere. A great place to bring kids on a Friday night. The place could get really expensive if you would like a few beers or food. I would suggest making a quick bite for the kids before you go and it will save you some $$ in the long run. We'll be back for another game soon. read more

Good (not great) minor league ballpark experience. Great sight lines. Family fun. Food service is in desperate need of the Bar Rescue guy-service is clueless. Hot dogs-so vital to the baseball game experience-leave a lot to be desired. Ours were handled by NINE people before being handed to us. Call the Buffalo (NY) Bisons and ask for their advice on how to do it well! read more

This is a very nice park but a little more expensive than I am used too for a minor league team. I also felt that the craft beer selection was not as good as some of the other parks I have been to. That said, the food was good and most importantly, the baseball was a lot of fun. read more

I attended my first game at "Werner Park" in Papillion, NE in May 2012. In fact I saw 3 games there in 4 days. It is the home ballpark of the Omaha Storm Chasers. A very modern ball park with all the amenities. Baseball at it's best. read more

Excellent place to watch a game! Gorgeous ballpark! Be careful about noon day games sun! If you want sun, great! If not, book seats in jack Daniels club (Section 112, 113, 114) section higher up in the section. Rows 16 and 17 were in the shade first pitch. Shade was all the way to rows 13 and 14 by the 4th or 5th inning. Or book one of the suites! read more

We have visited Werner Park several times. It is always a blast and I am not a big baseball fan! They always have mascots running around, funny races going on, fun ra ra stuff that you participate in, and lot's of free stuff gets thrown out at the audience or given away at the end. There is a wonderful bouncy house area for the kids that only costs $5 dollars or so. Refreshments aren't that cheap or good, but what do you expect? It's a ballpark. This place might actually make me a baseball fan. They also have fireworks on Friday nights. It has a GREAT atmosphere. Lot's of fun people. read more

this is trash 5.50 for a small bag of dippin dots. so not worth it

We love all the special events the have during game. And my daughter love to run around on the berm. Which are really cheap.

Great family activity. They had fireworks for friday nights. They do some happy hour drinking thursdays. We all had fun and my kids were entertained all night. read more

You charge $16 for a family fun day game & you can't even have a updated program???? Last time updated was inJune & you have the audacity to charge for that?? Pathetic & embarrassing for a triple AAA baseball team!! read more

Great stadium with fantastic seating. I am not sure if there is a bad view in the whole stadium. I was most impressed with the variety and quality of the concessions. The nachos with pulled pork were more like something I would order as an appetizer from a nice restaurant than from a ballpark. I have 4 boys, and they will not stop raving about how good they were! read more

Not at all handicap friendly. I recently took my husband for an outing there. I approached a number employees to find a chair for him. I was finally given a chair. I also have disabilities and standing for any time is very painful. I stood behind a half hour and then we left because he felt bad that I had to stand. There were several able bodied park employees sitting in chairs. Very disappointing. read more

Great venue and fun for the whole family. One question; why are kids allowed in the Jim Beam Club (no-kidding bar)? There is a playground, a pitching cage, a mini diamond, all specifically for kids. Can't we keep them out of the bar? read more
