What a great place for the whole family! This ballpark is well-kept and offers lots of seating, including comfy lawn spots. You'll find a delicious variety of food options that will satisfy everyone's cravings. Plus, the parking fee is just $5, which is such a steal these days! Enjoy a fun day out!

Whether it's enjoying a hot dog watching a Omaha Storm Chaser game or taking part in the Breast Cancer fundraising walk, Werner Park and staff are always there to make the event run smoothly.

This review is for the event Santa's Rockin Lights that is held at werner park over the holidays. The entrance is not well labeled or easy to find. But once you find it, the process is straightforward and convenient. You basically just drive through the display, which is set up in the parking lot. We enjoyed how the lights were very in sync with the music for a good chunk of the time. It make for a more dynamic show. The music was a good variety of popular holiday songs.

Absolutely love going to Chasers games! Great ballpark and the new hotdogs are amazing!

A really nice minor league ballpark where the Omaha Storm Chasers play. Seats are reasonably priced, food selection is your standard ballpark fair. I had a cheeseburger and corn fritters. Burgers was a large but average patty and the fritters were plentiful and freshly fried. They had a sweet taste to them and were served with a spicy dipping sauce- really good. Plenty of parking and a great way to enjoy a ball game. The organization did a lot of fan interaction and many foul balls foe kids to grab.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great prices. Great parking situation. And most importantly always great to see the cubs (organization) lose.

I just thought I'd write an update. Werner Park is still one of best minor league ballparks I've visited. The seats are close with good sight lines, the concourses are nice and wide with plenty of concession stand options and last, but not least, if the kids are getting a little restless, there is a kid friendly zone behind the left field stands that includes a carousel. It's fun competitive baseball with unique and interesting promotions sprinkled in.

Awaiting the Union Omaha home opener. The key word is: "ominous".

From the Omaha Stormchaser games to Union Omaha soccer (futbol) to a good old fashioned beer festival, Werner Park is great venue in Lavista on the southwest side of the Omaha metro area. Plenty of parking outside and well placed food and beverage stands on the inside. Sure there's your pedestrian beers (Bud, Bud Light) but also some local craft brews (Nebraska Brewing, etc) to quench the thirsty fans. Pizza, burgers and fries are also available at reasonable prices if hunger strikes. The only thing I have an issue with is that it's not more centrally located. Living in midtown, it's a 20 minute jaunt to get there. It's still worth the trip though.

Went here for the lights with family a couple weeks ago. Lights were great!! We've been to a few baseball games here also. There's always plenty of parking, a good choice of local crafted brews & food to go with the baseball games.

What a fun park! We came here to see a game while between Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting events. It was May the 4th so tons of Star Wars visitors for the kids. Easy to get in/out. $15 tickets online behind the dugout. Friendly staff. It was a $26 to the park from downtown Omaha. 30 min drive? Great seats but you'll miss the sun if you stay on the home team side. Bathrooms were clean. Only complaint was food line was long and they ran out of pulled pork nachos. The brisket nachos were good ($9). Beer was around $6.50 for 16oz.

It seems horribly laid out, almost every time I go, we go the wrong direction to our seats because signs don't direct you properly and are confusing, even venue staff seem confused at how to direct you to your seats. This results in a lot of backtracking as the venue is huge. Most seats are nice but the very upper bowl is very steep, terrifying and never a desirable spot to be in. More recently, I've gone to Disney on ICE and have become even more unimpressed that they have zero diaper changing tables--it's just a hard counter out in the open. One time I even walked to the family bathroom, still a counter. I understand that most shows/events here aren't exactly for small children but to not even have that accessibility is wrong (and then expect people to bring in clear bags so your child doesn't have a cover/cushion at all to change them on). Seems like this would be a minor adjustment the venue could make to improve quality, and it can't be that expensive with all of the money they make on parking and concessions . Pros are of course that it is a big venue that gets decent shows and service from concession staff has always been friendly, even during packed shows.

Most of the highlight was the various types of burgers and fries they had, so my partner and I got two kinds, and we both enjoyed our respective meals. I had the block burger, which was as good as I imagined it to be, with juicy patty cooked to medium and every ingredient needed to make a good burger. The poutine had a lot of beef gravy and cheese curds, which made the dish a comprehensive experience to consume, rather than just fries. The duck duck goose fries were amazing! The duck confit, cheese curds, mayo, gravy, and gooseberry gastrique combination worked super well on top of the fries, because they altogether basically made it a gourmet dish that I had to eat with a fork. Finally, the sloppy nick was seasoned very well, even if we got the vegan version, which used impossible meat instead of ground beef. It was still really great! Hope everyone who visits Omaha gets to try this spot! Their wall has quite a few articles that recognized them as a locally renowned burger joint, and I could see why. Since they can be busy, I would recommend people getting there earlier to secure a good table spot, if dining in.

But do not let that detour you from trying this gem. I usually like to grab one of my go-to orders, like the poutine burrito or the Croque Garcon Burger, plus whatever the daily special is. Sometimes the specials do not hit for me, but that is not their fault. It is a seat yourself space, but I have never had any issues finding a spot, usually by the time you order, someone has left. Despite the space being crowded whenever I come by, they do a great job of keeping the tables cleared and clean. Service has always been top-notch for me.

Reliable hot water, plenty of light, four pillows, a TV with some premium channels, a micro kitchen, and more. There were only small signs of wear. (I was in a Studio room.) + Staff. Omg, they actually have room service every two days or so without asking. NEUTRALs: * Breakfast. Definitely met expectations, complete with constantly restocked hot dishes and one of the waffle makers. * Snack bar / mini convenience store. Great during the day, not so great at 3am when I do not want to interact with humans; there are no vending machines on the first floor. * Location. Right next to the Mid America Center (MAC).

Upon checking in we given a room on the ground floor for 2 people. The hotel was being renovated. And this room had not gone through that process yet. Everything smelled and was outdated. However, it was not the correct room. There was suppose to be a couch for the 3rd person to sleep on. That was not there. I brought this up to the front desk who looked into the matter. Long story short, they realized a mistake was made when they received the reservation from a 3rd party booking firm. We were then given another room. Now this room had been renovated and was much better. It was located on the 3rd floor with a better view. The sheets look new as the large bathroom. The couch was like in its' own room or section complete with TV. The bedroom area, with one King, had its own TV too. Very spacious accommodating all our luggage about 8 large pieces not counting our carry ons and personal items. A 1 cup coffee maker was with a small fridge. We used the fridge to store leftover food but not the coffee. The shower was good with shampoo, conditioner and body soap attached to the shower wall. A hair dryer was there too. Complete of towels for the entire party too. They would like you to keep using those towels but if you want them changed leave them of the floor. It was good to see an iron and ironing board though they were not necessary. Another reason we chose Fairfield is for the included breakfast. It's not much to brag about but it is very convenient. You can make your own fresh waffles. Several toppings available for your waffle and yogurt. I loved the chocolate milk. Eggs and bacon were offered most mornings but they changed it up if you stayed during the week which we did. Apples, bananas and oranges were easy grab and go. Same with boiled eggs individually wrapped and sealed great for a little snack to fight off those peckish moments. A couple variety of muffins, cereals and breads to choose from. A toaster for bagels and white bread was nice to use too. And of course orange juice, teas, coffees with sugar and creamers were there too. The dining area is open 6am to 9am on the weekends. 7am to 10pm during the weekdays. I was there right when they open in the morning. Less people, quieter allowed me to enjoy my simple meal while doing a little work before the rush crowd came in. It did get busy to an almost standing room only if not for the lobby area with convenient areas to sit. A work out room and pool is available for guest. I didn't partake of these services but nice to know they are there if the whim hits me. There is a printer available too should the need arise. Not for me but I did have several letters and packages to mail from our conducted business. The front desk was courteous ensuring these were sent off properly. The location of the property may look difficult because it is tucked away from the street behind another building. You can see it from the streets it's just a matter of how to get to it. It won't take long to figure out once you see it's behind a pizza joint. Convenient. Several restaurants are close by if you don't mind walking 15 to 35 minutes. We walked most of the time enjoying the scenery, cool air, quietness while taking it all in. Overall, I found this a great stay. Convenient services for my needs. Some may not like some of the few activities I noticed there from the younger adults. Minor from my perspective. I would definitely come here again and look forward to it next year.

However, even though I was happy with the shuttle (and the drivers) I was disappointed in the hotel. Although the rooms are nicely furnished with clean simple lines and new vinyl woodplank flooring, the room was not clean, at all. The floor had not been swept or vacuumed. Worst of all was (ahem) residue at the bottom of the toilet, which showed the toilet had not been cleaned, much less flushed. I hate to write this in a review, but I've never come across this in a hotel before, no matter the level or price of the hotel. I would have complained but it was almost midnight by the time I got to my room and I was leaving the following morning. One other complaint was that when you call the hotel, you are put on hold until you can talk to someone. Sometimes you can wait for 20 minutes to talk to a live person! That includes when calling to ask for a shuttle at 10:30 at night. However, the night clerk, Devin, was very nice and helpful when I checked into my room. And as I mentioned, the shuttle drivers were the friendliest people I met at the hotel.
