Since switching to Primrose she has had a total change in her attitude- she is much happier during the week, often talks about her activities at daycare, and no longer gets upset when it's time to go to daycare. The teachers all seem kind and well trained, and consistently use age appropriate language and positive reinforcement (that was a major issue at her previous daycare- I often heard raised voices and negative tones when I was coming in for pick up). There's a mixture of guided activities and self directed play, and all the kids seem engaged. They have an on-site kitchen and my daughter, who is normally a picky eater, enjoys all of the food. The hours are great and the prices are very reasonable for the area. We feel good about the care and education our daughter gets here which is such a relief as a parent. Overall I would definitely recommend this daycare!

Until then, she stayed at home with my wife, but we needed a second income as we were expecting our second child. Within weeks, our daughter LOVED going and she truly began to flourish with knowledge. Now our oldest is five and our second is two. Both girls really love La Petite. It's not just the curriculum that makes it outstanding, but it's the teachers too. The teachers there are kind, patient and loving. I can say I know the teachers sincerely love my children just as much as I can say I know my children sincerely love them. My five year old tells me often that her teachers are her best friends. Every evening when I pick my daughters up from La Petite, they don't want to leave. My two year old will not leave until she hugs all her teachers goodbye. Sometimes it's frustrating like trying to herd cats, but my heart is full knowing how fortunate we are for the director, the assistant director and every single teacher to be a part of our daughters' lives.

Everything is so green, and all the flowers are in full bloom. The lookout with the trains is always a favorite, and there's so much to explore that we ended up getting plenty of steps in. I was in town visiting and wanted to see how Omaha's Union Station compares to the one we have back…read morehome. It was built in 1931 in the Art Deco style and designed by LA architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood. The museum has lots of photographs and examples of materials used that would be a delight for all those interested in architecture. Downstairs was the train depot and where you can go inside and sit in the train cars. Most of the rooms appeared to be part of their permanent collection, but part of the downstairs area has rotating exhibits. The exhibit on display was "The Negro Motorist Green Book" which you may be familiar with if you watched the 2018 film "Green Book." I had a great time at the museum and would return, although check the calendar as I went when the NE SciFest going on and I prefer calmer museum visits. Still, definitely would recommend checking it out!
