I was easily able to schedule an appointment online where Laura e-mailed me soon after, to schedule an appointment for a day I requested. EASIEST PROCESS EVER! Can't all appointments be this easy? The day of my appointment I was treated with the upmost care by all of the staff here. Dr. Jiwon examined my teeth and could not have been more friendly. He was also very personable and for someone who hates going to the dentist, it was a painless process. I was able to get a teeth cleaning and exam for an hour and a half where I walked out with some free goodies, which was not provided at my last dental office. Plus, since I came in with that promotional postcard/reference and didn't need any dental work done, I was able to save that $100 credit for a future visit, just in case. Sixth months of pain thanks to this office's negligence…read more Going to this dentist resulting in me probably needing a root canal. I came in to get some simple fillings done, and I'm now saddled with hundreds of dollars of bills, to pay for procedures that screwed up my teeth. The doctors left (with full knowledge) overhangs on both of my fillings. This means that whenever I flossed, the floss would catch on the fillings and pull on them. The dentist informed me that this was normal and I would just need to pull through my floss for the rest of my life. After a month of pain, I went back to ask why the fillings still hurt. They took x-rays, shaved one of them down a little bit, and told me the other was fine and I should go home. I developed hot and cold sensitivity. I finally visited another dentist with 30+ years experience. I've now learned that purposely leaving overhangs on fillings is absolutely not normal, and that what they've done is careless at best. I saw the x-rays myself this time, and you can clearly see the sharp, jagged overhang's that were left after the fillings were put in. I've also learned that One of the filling simply broke because of the way that they left the overhangs. Until I've had over $700 in dentistry bills, and six months of dismissed pain. I know I will likely need a root canal in one of the teeth, and I needed to get both fillings replaced. This place looks great on the outside. The customer service is excellent. However, I would caution anyone against blindly trusting that this office knows what they're doing.

She discussed my treatment options and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns about the previous filling, which had not been done properly. I really appreciated how thorough the team was. They explained every step of the procedure, reviewed what they found, and even discussed potential causes of the issues. It made me feel informed and confident in the care I was receiving. I just had my filling redone yesterday, but I can already tell a huge difference. My sensitivity to hot and cold has significantly improved. I still have a little tenderness when biting as the procedure was completed yesterday. However, the filling feels smooth and comfortable without the rough edges my previous filling had. She also made sure it fit properly with my night guard, which was something my previous dentist did not do. I also really appreciated the follow up care. The office itself is very large and spacious, but it's the incredible staff that truly makes the difference. From the moment my two young girls (ages 4 and almost 6) and I arrived, we were welcomed with warm greetings from Britt Ann, the Front Desk Manager. The team instantly made my girls comfortable, which is key for any parent, especially at a dental office. If my girls are comfortable, than I am comfortable! Dr. Go was our dentist. Once we were in the exam room, Dr. Go and a couple assistants came in to help and chat/help with the girls. ALl of them were fantastic at explaining everything clearly to me, but also explaining what they would do to my girls and built a good foundation of trust from the get go. My kids weren't scared or nervous at all. They probably didn't even realize they were at the dentist! The following day, I came back to get my dental cleaning (it's that time of year for all of us to get our teeth checked). And again, the level of care was nothing short of exceptional. Many staff members went out of their way to stop in and say hello, even if I wasn't their specific patient. Dr. Go was my dentist as well. And to no surprise, she was very patient with me, and explained every step of the process to me very clearly, and outlined what areas I should focus on brushing on better at home. I felt completely at ease throughout my entire visit. If I had to say there was one thing the office could work on, I would suggest having better signage out on the main room as it was hard to find the entry off of the street my first time getting there (the office is in the back of an office complex). But once inside, the 'going to the dentist' experience far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Spektor Dental, and Dr. Go!
