I would definitely recommend Werber Plumbing and Heating. I called in the evening to request service as I was having a radiator problem. They returned my call and scheduled an appt the following morning. It's so rare to find a company that returns calls so promptly and then sends out a repairman so quickly. They showed up at the scheduled time and repaired the problem. Great customer service! read more

Reliable, trustworthy, on time and just get it right. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Used them multiple times for boiler replacements, repairs and maintenance. Great work, thank you. read more

Werber is our only plumber. Though they are not available 24 /7 , I would NEVER use anyone else. I know I can rely on them to get the job done and totally trust their knowledge. Yes, expensive- but they are our go to plumbers. We love the plumbing team! read more

I live in Bay Ridge. My master bathroom sink had old defective shut off valves that needed replacement and a faulty faucet that needed to be removed. I attempted to change both valves and remove the faucet myself. One of the valves came loose and leaked a lot of water before I was able to get to the basement to shut off the water main. It was a monumental mess. I called a few local plumbers and only Werber had someone at my door within the hour. Donald and Mark arrived and fixed the problems quickly. They were neat and courteous and the bill was more than reasonable compared to some of quotes the other plumbers I called gave me. I would recommend them any time. read more

Every time I've called them, they worked quickly and did terrific work. They are easygoing, but willing to explain what they are doing. I've used them a half-dozen times over the last decade for projects big and small -- clogged toilet, replacing pipes, installing a sink -- and everything went extremely well. read more

Came on time to fix my back yard hose. No issue and fixed it with one twist. No charge. They are the best plumbers in Brooklyn. Thank you Werber for being so professional, cordial and honest. read more

Small, local but very professional crew. Prices probably on the average to above the average. Spend the money and sleep safe. They don't oversell you! read more

I was very anxious about the relatively new boiler with the cold weather. I called Werber Plumbing late Monday afternoon and got a response on Tuesday morning from Mr. Werber himself and was reassured that the orange flames coming from the boiler were caused by dust. (The boiler only started producing heat on Monday FYI). Keeping my fingers crossed! But a salute to the owner of Werber Plumbing getting back to me in a timely fashion. read more

They are quite simply the best. Family run business and it shows through their dedication and personal attention. You can't go wrong!

Donald & Jeremy were excellent. They provided a quote and were there the next day to fix the plumbing. They were very patient, answered all my questions and they are very knowledgeable plumbers. Highly recommend. These are honest guys who do a great job. read more

Last night at 4am a pipe in the bedroom leaked water all over and caused a huge hole in the ceiling. I turned off the furnace to stop the leak ( losing heat on a 27 degree day). I called Werber Plumbing at 7am because all my neighbors highly recommend them. I can see why ! Paul came over right away and found the source within the furnace and quickly repaired the issue. He was so professional, friendly, honest and just phenomenal ! I will only use Werber Plumbing in the future and will recommend to all my friends! I can see why they have such an excellent reputation. Many thanks again to Paul and Werber ! read more

I had a really bad experience with my last plumber and I tried tons of companies that either didn't return my call or wouldn't have a set rate... Werber was referred to me by a friend and I am so grateful! They squeezed me in day of. They were super diligent in replacing my toilet and they explained everything to me. They were more than fair on price. There was a minor leak I noticed after and they came right back late at night and fixed it with no charge. Super nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend to anyone. read more

Have been dealing with Chris over 20 years. Personable, competent and reliable. He is a true professional in his field. I trust him to do a good job at a fair price and stand by his work. I highly recommend Chris at Weber. He is the best!! read more

They come quickly, pinpoint the problem, fix it, charge a reasonable price, and give you an actual PAPER receipt, and warranty. As opposed to another local high priced rip-off plumbing company I had the misfortune of using, for a ridiculously, high price ,for a 10 minute snake out of a bathtub drain! Dependable, reasonable with friendly staff. read more

Can't thank Donald and his team enough! Called after hours to help with my boiler. Efficient, polite and fair prices. Now I know why they were the only plumber my dad (RIP) ever allowed in the house. read more

Rude secretary, plumber was a no-show twice. The first time he called me the next day to reschedule and was not very apologetic ("Are you home now?" "Uh no I'm at work"). The second time he had the secretary call me the next day and she again just sounded kind of nasty when I told her we'd be taking our business elsewhere. Can't really speak to their actual work since we never made it that far! read more

Had a wonderful experience with this company... efficient... excellent service... and my issues were handled in a timely manner. They took very good care of keeping the debris at a minimum and cleaned up thoroughly. The finishing touch was a welcome surprise. I would happily recommend Werber Plumbing for any future work! Thank you for everything read more

High price, MOF, I was told the cost would be yeoman plumber wages;ie $300. p/hour. What arrived? A kid barely out of High School. What a waste. After he left I called another plumber to do the job. read more

Really, they are the best plumbers around. I hear people about the high price, but you get what you pay for. They saved us when we had a gas leak - people said it would take months to resolve the situation (with city permits, etc.) but Werber worked miracles and it was taken care of in a few days. They are kind of charmingly old school (bring you paper calendars at the end of the year!) but they never fail to show up and solve my problems. read more

My family has used Werber plumbing for decades. They were here yesterday to fix a kitchen leak and as usual very competent, on time and clean. We also used Werber for a new bathroom and kitchen and are very satisfied. Their work is on time, on budget and Werber also provides good advice to a home owner. I can see how this family owned business in still going strong after so many decades with customers like us. read more

I was recommended to Werber Plumbing by a neighbor several years ago, and both myself and my father had used their services several times previously. As I found Werber Plumbing's prices to be quite expensive we used them more out of convenience rather than finding another reliable more cost efficient solution. Recently I asked Werber to provide a cost to install a water meter in my Brooklyn house. When I received the cost to install the water meter I was astounded at the $4,000+ cost they quoted to me which compelled to see what other licensed plumbers would charge for the same work. I contacted three other plumbers and all were less than half of the price Werber quoted. I ended up choosing one of the licensed plumbers I contacted at a price of $1100 (not including the the $400 DEP rebate Werber said nothing of) to do the installation that was ultimately inspected by the DEP where I was told that the work that was done was well within the DEP guidelines. Bottom line is Werber is an over priced arrogant resource that I would never use again and I would suggest others not either. read more

If you have water hammering problem in your heating system, they are the expert to correct this annoying problem. Recently I replaced my old boiler, however the installer did not install the correct piping, so when I turned on the system, all the pipes were banging like crazy. The installer count not correct it. So I called Werber, Donald responded within half an hour. He drafted a scope of work with a reasonable price right on top of the boiler. Boy. I was so impressed. So I agreed with the price. The following morning, Kris and Landy showed up. First they put down a couple of card board on my tiled floor. then they laid out their tools on it, I really appreciated the way they protected my floor. two of them just took 3 & 1/2 hour to correct my water hammering problem. Now I am enjoying my quiet & warm heating system. I strongly recommend whoever has this problem or any other boiler and plumbing problem to call them. Many thanks to Donald, Kris & Landy.
