Pabellón arepa and Mexicana arepa with a prosecco and a Frescolita soda

The interior is lovely, the two men who helped us were so charming, and the arepas were amazing! My husband got the Mexicana (scrambled eggs and chorizo) and I got the Pabellón (shredded beef, black beans, fried plantains and cheese - sooo good!!). We also had the black bean soup, which was terrific. A perfect Sunday relaxing with a glass of prosecco, good music playing and great food - so happy they opened in our neighborhood!

The food here was fantastic! I'm still thinking about it 2+ months later. Went here as a group of 7…read morefor dinner on a Friday. We had a nice large table with good lighting. Service was great. We split the Caribbean Queen Fountain, which was huge, tasty, and well worth the price for how many servings of drinks we got out of it for all of us. We split a selection of small plates, which we all enjoyed, and got our own entrees. -Tequeňos (5/5) LOVED these fried breaded cheese sticks. A must try! -Mandocas (5/5) spectacular corn doughnuts. -Ceviche (4.5/5) fish tasted fresh, with a good tomato sauce -Plantain Chips (4.5/5) -Empanadas (I didn't try these, but was told they were good!) For my entree, my friend and I split the Asado Negro for two (4/5) The 48h braised short rib is very tender, and it's served with a side of arepas. This dish is good, but very heavy and filling.

Rear dining room is great if you don't wanna see what your date looks like, nor the prices…read more.. The short rib is the most overpriced thing I've ever eaten. I think it was like $110 and I only ordered bc of a great Michelin review. Will never trust them again. Im such a fool. I took the remainder home with hopes someone else might enjoy but it was rejected! I'll make you a better short rib! One of the most unfortunate dining experiences for the price. If you have the money, it's prob fine. But for a special night and meal out, PASS!
