After passing by a couple times and my Wife loves buying plants, we had to stop and check it out. Really broad selection of plants. From house plants to trees. This nursery has it all, even landscaping products like paver stones or rocks of different types. My Wife bought about $50.00 in pots. I am always looking for carnivorous plants. This nursery had a couple different pitcher plants, some sundew but no Flytraps. I was glad to see the carnivorous plants came from a local nursery. A little costly but available.

We made a quick selection but the owner was still tied up. We indicated what we wanted and that we would run an errand and come back in about an hour at which time she could give us a price for what we picked out. While I was there I spotted a cute and quirky print on the wall with a fun yellow frame. I indicated that I wanted to purchase this and took it off the wall. When we came back an hour later, the owner (Moira), had a price for us for a frame, a mat, and glass for the print. It was less than 100.00! Also, the print that I saw on the wall did not have a finished back, and in the hour when we were running errands, she removed the velcro that was used to hang it in the shop and put a proper paper back and a wire to hang it on with little corner pad protectors...without my asking and without charging me extra. Super nice! I live in Portland but have family in Florence and I will consider bringing my art down to this shop when I visit to have it framed down here! Also, her chip reader would not work with my card so she took my number down and said she would figure out how to run it manually in a day or so. I did not feel at all nervous about leaving her my card information and she charged it accurately and destroyed the number. Trusted merchant!

Although I haven't used their services, the woman was very friendly and chatted with me a few minutes once I'd spotted her sea lion. She had sample work up on the walls and was carefully preparing a piece when I walked in, and there's a good selection of frames from which to select. I would happily visit here instead of a chain like Michaels to have expert framing done on important items. She said that shadow boxes are a common item that she does, which I hadn't thought about but would be really neat for things like ticket stubs and the like. It's 2020, and small businesses are struggling. This is one worthy of patronage. There candles smell good, but I did not purchase one because I am filled to the brim with candles, it's also summer time and burning a candle would be crazy. I will be coming back during Thanksgiving and purchase one and give it a try. Their website says that Our Gel candles burn 2-3 times longer than traditional wax candles. Interesting!

Wanting the plaster casts to last more than a life time, I contacted Bob to see if he could safely dip in pewter. Bob was both compassionate and helpful. Bob educated me on his process, provided pricing and an estimated return date. The next day, I wrapped the paster and mailed to Bob. He let me know when he recieved my package. Bob then contacted me the day before I would recieved the pewter items from him. Memories in Broze exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend.
